Default Right to Travel Bill

ATLANTA -- A state lawmaker from Marietta is sponsoring a bill that seeks to do away with Georgia driver's licenses.

State Rep. Bobby Franklin, R-Marietta, has filed House Bill 7, calling it the "Right to Travel Act."

In his bill, Franklin states, "Free people have a common law and constitutional right to travel on the roads and highways that are provided by their government for that purpose. Licensing of drivers cannot be required of free people, because taking on the restrictions of a license requires the surrender of an inalienable right."

I like his response about what there is to stop a 12-14 year old getting in a car anyway.

The whole system at the moment is just based on those famous words by tattoos in Steven Segal's Out for Justice:

"...there's only two things stopping you...fear and common sense"

Problem is that the system at present assumes we have no common sense but plenty of fear!

I'm not sure who you are but it is the standard troll argument. I had to laugh last month, my socks off. In Lark Lane in Liverpool there was 4 kids in this huge car, all different races. Couldn't be any more than 8 or 9 all one driving who could just about see the windscreen and all his mates in sat with him. Just me reminded me of my mispent youth. hehehehe.

The deal is kill someone in a car and you pay the price. Simple.
