Default The Sound Of Freedom - weekly conscious music show

Presented by Mark Devlin, it's a continuation of a show he did on The People's Voice. A mixture of music with a mainly hip hop/soul base but quite eclectic, covering many 'alternative media' slanted themes - "spiritual, confrontational and our good old friend, the conspiratorial". An interesting section of the show is known as the Truth Trip, where Mark goes back in time to unearth songs by artists covering topics of relevance to current events.

Any artists who have music that may be of interest can contact Mark online (own website and social media)

Here's show # 27:

Crackin tunes, Raised my vibrations this cold morning..Richie spice, took me back to my roots

Reminded me..when i first got on line (close on 15 years now) my mind had orgasms how it would benefit the underground music scene that had slowly been dying since the steady corporate take over of the music industry, how wrong was I
Music is very powerful media to get a message across, that is the true art.

many great artists raising vibrations and getting the message out and potentially getting people together and no one seems to care..Why is this thread so quiet

Thanks for keeping the vibe alive Decode

Cheers h2.... really the credit goes out to Mark Devlin, one of the few deejays/music journalists who have incorporated this into their work. I always get a creative buzz from listening to these shows, and it's a good mixture of new and old music.

The internet still has great potential and music is a medium where you can say things and not be subject to the same censorship.

He's independent. He did work for Fox FM which I believe is a commercial station in Oxford but more recently had his own show on The People's Voice.
TSOF is really a continuation of what he used to do on TPV.
