"Majic / Majestic 12" by Nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman. A well known authority in UFO circles this book is all about the proven formation of the covert shadow intelligence group in 1947 formed to handle all aspects of Ufology inside and outside public domain, including discreditaton and debunking of subsequent UFO reports by both the military and the public as well as its own attempts to conceal its own existence. Majestic 12 are not a myth. They are very real indeed though have a different name now and are funded a by a heckuva lot of black budget money.

Congrats ! Wait till you get the chapter 8: "The Letters" that really is the juicy bit !!

I've ordered J.B. Priestley's "The Other Place" this week, these are fictional short stories of paranormalia, but inspired, I understand, from many of those letters he received from contributors to "Man & Time" (quite crafty that, I think, using your own readership as free source material !)

Flying Free by Nigel Farage
Excellent book and, unusually for a political bio; some good LOLs.

Magnificent Desolation autobiography of astronaut Colonel Buzz Aldrin, concerned not so much with the moon landing (though chapter one briefly covers it) more his voyage home and subsequent survival attempts back here on Terra Firma, his descent into alcoholism, divorce and nervous breakdown owing to unwanted stardom celebrity status and effective lifelong redundancy, before bouncing back as his own brand name. The book title more describes his life down here than up there.

Before you ask - no - not one mention of UFOs or ET. Interesting website he has though:

Am now reading "The Other Place" tales of paranormalia by J...R...Hartley ...I mean J.B. Priestley.

"...and the truth shall set you free" by that David Icke bloke.

I think this is my 7th David Icke book I've read ( and 4th successful library order), for once does not include the autobiography re-hash. Unfortunately no pretty colour plates from Neil Hague either. That said, Chapter 12 very insightful dissection of the Kennedy assassination and the forces behind it that even puts a question a mark over Oliver Stone's integrity, stopping short at exposing the culprits behind the culprits. Mossad are mentioned here, this alongside Jack Ruby's knowledge of the UFO scenario links with JFK which he never got chance to voice in a re-trial in Washington before he died, Majestic 12 being suggested as yet another set of fingers behind the triggers on 22nd November 1963 with Kennedy's desire to go public on ET had he got a second term in office.

This is an earlier Icke book (1994, reprinted 2012) which level pegs with my current favourite "Biggest Secret". What does come across in David's writing is his sheer sportsman's stamina in assimilating such a vast amount of information over many broad areas. Reading one, you feel like you've completed a 500m hurdle race with him. Good for the brain muscle. 3am this morning when I got to bed...the endpiece concerns his chance meeting with President Jimmy Carter which is very funny.

That was my first Icke book. Bought my copy at a Borders book store back in April 2009. Such a memorable time! Each page yielded one epiphany after another. I literally felt reborn and saw the world with new eyes afterwards. Things that never made sense to me before, suddenly did.

One thing I have noticed is that all these Icke books I order in for our local library are flying off the shelves again the moment I bring them back in. Just shows there's an unmet demand, and not just from me, and what a bit of pre-emptive ordering can do.

Order Icke books for your libraries today !!!

Have you got to the hallowed chapter 8 yet ? Multi talented man is JB. I approached him from a different direction as a dramatist when I was doing my Drama degree, his non-fiction work is but a sideline, yet probably far more advanced than other researchers in that field. They say he had fingers in too many pies if anything (playwright/broadcaster/novel and short story writer/actor manager/theatre director/ scriptwriter and producer, essay writer, travel and non-fiction books) and that had he focused more on just one of those areas we'd be even more enlightened now.

Currently reading and enjoying Mark Thompson's new book ' Enough Said-What's gone wrong with the language of politics?' It's only just been published so covers recent Leave/Remain rhetoric amongst much else on how politicians down the years have used ( and abused) language to influence voters.
