Default The Natural Cross

Check this out everyone. The religious symbol of the cross wins. A plant must grow against gravity, and that is a cross. Getting out of bed is a cross. Even typing on your computer is a cross with the weight of your hands. Every action bears the cross, in nature. Christ has it all.

Maybe this?

Getting our then-teenage sons out of bed of a morning surely was 'a cross to bear'.
Teenage boys do NOT like getting out of bed and ready for school on time and in time.
