I could work alongside them and have no problem but they shouldn't even be in the workplace if they feel they don't want to.
It's what sort of work is on offer. A lot of businesses would need to relocate to more Disabled friendlier buildings which will please contractors.
Those and even less choices on Websites and even worse IT systems.
And shutter pay. Years ago I would have been more outraged but now I'm more "Of course. You'd do something like that." and if opposition repealed they won't as it's all getting the shit onto stature books regardless.
There is such a thing as "Can't work" but not for much longer it seems.

If so, I don't see the problem with that, no one should get a free ride if they can chip in themselves, plus, many want to live as normal a life as possible and be treated the same.

Would it not be better to start with those who get the biggest free ride of all? Forcing the disabled into work will only put more presure on those who would otherwise have been able to work by making the disabled compete for the same job but at a lower salary.

From the pov of the system, a disabled person is closer to being a transhuman than a person currently free from technological smart crutches.

It all sounds agreeable on paper but in practice, given how badly the assesments are.
Given how poor IT systems are, and now you can't search for jobs as much on Universal Jobsmatch, it's been replaced by a directgov. website that advisors can keep more tabs on you than the abandoned Universal Jobsmatch.
The cuts means they haven't got the funding to implement it painlessly, without disruptions and this government is doing anything from getting out of its responsibilities of care.
Ready for the wolves as next they'll take away what's left.

If it proves a success I'll see my own arse! But going on previous. Increase in that low vibrational despair for some. But I hope we get diamonds from the pressure here and there.

I know of disabled people who work. One can't walk and needs a wheelchair, and gets dropped off at work and picked up every day as her wheelchair won't fit on the bus.

Another is nearly blind and has to have a massive monitor to be able to do his job.

They both choose to work.

I also know of one scrote that milks the system by pretending to be disabled so he doesn't have to work. He got his mobility car taken off him as he got caught delivering fast food on the side. There's nothing wrong with him physically or mentally, he's just a lazy scrounger and proud of it.

It's not so black and white.

This is the problem with the system they will always highlight those that rort as opposed to those that try and do the right thing.
Then when they bring in the proposed new rules the innocent will be affected and the bad ones will find another way to continue their ways.
I know of a similar scrounger in his 40's on disability he goes around scabbing through peoples hard rubbish and tidies the stuff up and sells it at the markets on weekends. He gets the dsp because he can't handle being around people.
Yet I know others who are being made to look for work despite multi medical issues. The system is unfair and always seems to benefit the wrong people.
The governments are in financial trouble because of mismanagement they stole the pension money of the people and never replaced it Now they cry that all these aging people are putting a great strain on the system. The younger generation are buying the lies that they have to pay for all these pensions etc. and are angry at the previous generation for putting strain on them and depriving them of their benefits

There are also huge economic benefits to improving disability employment rates. More than half of disabled people are in work, but in order to realise the full potential of disabled people in Britain we want to go further and see one million more disabled people in work by 2027.
