Disseminating Moon Phase: communicate, share, introspect, teach, learn

Moon: Virgo

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

We find ourselves at the Disseminating phase of the Moon, far from where we started the journey back at the New Moon. With our comrades, the band of brothers, we've met wise teachers and received lessons about the transformation of life, witnessed dark magicians setting up events, traveled through the shadowy underland of the Black Moon, fought off emotional whirlwinds with a Moon goddess, and now we find ourselves transporting over chasms while the light subtly shifts between the colors of the rainbow. We have a panarama view of the landcape and we can see very far into the horizon.

Mars and Uranus are off to themselves, huddled around a point in the landscape. They seem to be engaged in communication with someone remote.

The "colors" of energy shift today with the Sun's movement out of Capricorn and into Aquarius. This is a dramatic change because Capricorn energy is heavy and restrictive, while Aquarius energy is airy and free.

Things "break loose" today. They become unstuck; they move forward instead of being mired. If there is resistance to changes (transformation from things/us being one way to things/us being another way), pressure builds until released. The release has potential to be aggressive because the core issue is the feeling of losing control. Nothing thrives in a control environment.

Over the next four days (the duration of the Disseminating Moon phase), transformation is facilitated by sharing and communicating with others. We've been under the influence of mass intensity this month, courtesy of the conjunction of Pluto and the New Moon on January 1. The Sun's transit opposite the Black Moon has added a shadowy element. Now, the Sun's movement into Aquarius shifts us out of that somewhat, helping us flow more fluidly with the changes that are underway in ourselves, our lives, and our world. Talking with others and receiving/giving feedback is the primary mission during Disseminating phases. Input from others helps clear our thinking. A crucial part of this is accepting and respecting where others are in their own process, not trying to control the process.

Watch the changing of the light as the day grows. It teaches us that things change according to perspective.

Default Experiences We Don’t Understand - Hidden Gems

Experiences We Don’t Understand
Hidden Gems

January 20, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41891.html

Quote:

All of the events in our lives lead to other events, they are all connected.

Sometimes we have an experience that we don’t understand, but if we look deeply, or wait long enough, a reason for that experience will usually reveal itself. All the events in our lives lead to other events, and all that we have manifested in this present moment is the result of past events and experiences. We cannot easily tease apart the many threads that have been woven together to create our current reality. Experiences that don’t make sense, as well as any that we regret, are just as responsible for the good things in our lives as the experiences we do understand or label as “good.”

This is especially important to remember at times when we feel directionless or unsure of what to do. It is often at times like these that we take a job or move to a place without really knowing if it’s the right thing to do. We may ultimately end up leaving the job or the place, but often during that time we will have met someone who becomes an important friend, or we may have an experience that changes us in a profound way. When all the pieces of our life don’t quite make sense, we can remember that there may be some hidden gem of a reason that we are where we are having the experiences we are having.

It’s fun to look back on past experiences with an eye to uncovering those gems—the dreadful temporary job in a bland office building that introduced you to the love of your life; the roommate you couldn’t tolerate who gave you a book that changed your life; the time spent living in a city you didn’t like that led you into a deeper relationship with yourself. Remembering these past experiences can restore our faith in the present. Life is full of buried treasures. Chances are, you’re sitting on some right now.

Default Eight Signs You may be Experiencing a Spiritual...

Eight Signs You may be Experiencing a Spiritual Awakening

January 16, 2014

Gary Z McGee

http://fractalenlightenment.com/1848...tual-awakening

Quote:

“Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad.” ~ Miles Kington

1. You’re more in touch with your spiritual foundations through transformative meditation:

You realize, as Jung noted, that “the experience of the Self is always a defeat for the Ego.” And through the seven primary chakras you are becoming one with the cosmos, receptive to stimuli to which, in the time before, you were insensate.

You’ve felt the powerful kundalini energy rising up from your roots, passing through the sacred waters of the sacral, basking in the fire of the solar plexus, breathing in the vital breath of the heart, absorbing the ethereal voice of the throat, pouring through the dissolution of the Third Eye, and spilling up and out like a mighty fountainhead into the greater cosmos.

2. You are beginning to want more freedom and less stuff:

Your heart is not heavy with materialistic burden. You understand that ownership-based love can never be true love. You realize like Osho said, “Love is not about possession. Love is about appreciation.” And although there are some people in the world who are so poor all they have is money, you continue to love without expecting anything in return. You have frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation for the abundance the natural world has to offer. Like Gandhi, you live simply so that others may simply live.

3. You realize that the door to your prison cell is wide open (and always has been):

Rumi, “Why do you stay in prison when the door is wide open?”

You have a growing propensity toward breaking mental paradigms, stretching comfort zones and thinking outside of the current box. You have a tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than from fears based on past experiences, and you are constantly attempting to recondition any and all preconditions.

You enjoy each moment, relishing, in carpe-diem-ecstasy, your bountiful freedom. It was Rumi who asked, “Why do you stay in prison when the door is wide open?”

4. The world is a playground, and you are on recess:

You don’t take yourself too seriously. You realize that, though hard work is necessary, sincere play is paramount. You understand that play is the only way that the highest intelligence of humankind can unfold. Your sense of humor has become your safety net. You understand that sincerity is primary and should always trump seriousness. Like Nietzsche wrote, “The struggle of maturity is to recover the seriousness of a child at play.”

5. You have acquired the counterintuitive practice of relishing in your mistakes:

Wanderer above the Sea of Fog painting by Caspar David Friedrich

We all make mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes we make are huge, like overeating, or putting all our eggs in one basket. Sometimes the mistakes we make are small, like eating too many beans, or making a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

But you appreciate the strange flukes and foibles that knock you off course or lead you astray. These can be setbacks or stepping stones. It’s up to you which. But you have discovered the capacity to use them as stepping stones.

6. You have an overwhelming feeling of being connected with others and nature:

You realize, as Aldo Leopold did, that “The land is not a commodity that belongs to us; it’s a community to which we belong.” You are becoming more aware of your connection to the community and cosmos. Your ego-centric tendencies are fast dissolving into eco-centric magnanimity.

You realize, as Darryl Anka surmised, that, “Everything is energy and that’s all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.”

Click Image to go to video

7. You understand that the journey is indeed the thing:

You’ve discovered that most of your pleasure comes not from your achievement of a goal, though there is some pleasure that comes from that, but from the process of achieving that goal. It’s not just that you are on a journey; it’s that you are the journey.

You are not simply crossing the bridge from animal to Over-man (Nietzsche’s Übermensch), you are the “bridge” itself. Indeed, you understand – from balls to bones, ovaries to marrow – that the glue that binds finitude with infinity is the human torn between being both an animal and a god.

8. You’d rather be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie:

You embrace the pain that comes from knowledge and laugh at the bliss born out of ignorance. You accept that pain is a side effect of doing what you love, knowing that pain is merely the hard center of love that must be embraced, softened and transformed into wisdom.

You have an appreciation for truth that trumps any amount of pain or suffering that’s necessary to achieve it. Like the Dread Pirate Roberts says to the princess in the Princess Bride, “Life is pain, princess. Anybody who tells you otherwise is selling something.”

Disseminating Moon Phase: communicate, share, introspect, teach, learn

Moon: Virgo/Libra

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

Kali utters a command. A portal off to the side opens and ten black dogs, shepherds, rush forward from it to take up positions around the perimeter of the bridge. Their gaze is fixed at various points out on the panoramic landscape. We look around at each other, confused and somewhat frozen in place in awe mixed with a tinge of fear. The energy of these magnificent beasts, standing guard around us, locked in watch, loaded with protective force, is palpable.

Mars and Uranus break from their huddle and rejoin us. "There is quite a battle waging outside," Uranus tells us. "We will begin to feel the effects any time now." And as if on cue, something impacts the bridge and we stumble a little.

Regaining his footing, Mars continues. "The dark magicians of my archenemy are attacking. They are staged ahead, attacking from behind a battlefield that is being held by my sister, Eris. She and her forces await us at the end of the bridge."

Uranus continues, "The attack-spell combines command of the elements of nature - wind, fire, and water - with mastery over what humanity believes. This attack causes unsettling effects and creates disequilibrium in the psyche, which makes humanity ripe for the insertion of false reality."

Eyeing us, watching the weight of recognition fall over us, Kali interrupts. "The rainbow bridge safely transports consciousness over chasms and through difficulties. All are guarded and protected," she says with a flourish of her hands, proving the thought with a reminder of our watchdogs.

The astrology of the day is clear. Control issues and emotional instability are the dominant energies. So we handle this in two ways. We first understand that we are protected from harm and from there we engage the stance of the spiritual warrior, the practice of being like a wise owl in a tree, witnessing, observing the swirling energies. But instead of being wise owls in a tree we are wise owls inside the bridge.

The bridge is both a structure going from one place in space-time to another and also a vessel that transports us. The perspective is like being on the bridge of an airship.

There is a deep welling of love and protection surrounding us. It asks us to focus on the beauty of the natural world while we are enticed to look elsewhere and engage in worry and fear (which manifests specifically in relationships right now).

We can remember that we are under intense transformation this month. Much is changing. We are bridging into a new world, and forces aligned with power and control are holding on for dear life. They are crazed. Sanity and wisdom will prevail, however.

We continue to align ourselves with the value of freedom of the mind. Ground yourself in nature by paying attention and finding beauty during the turbulence today.

(Note: I hope to record an audio soon to detail the astrology behind the Illuminati's current efforts and where they intend to go. The site is in the process of being moved to another platform - a new bridge! - so hopefully we won't have too much interruption.)

Default Finding Freedom in No - Yes People

Finding Freedom in No
Yes People

January 21, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41892.html

Quote:

Saying No to somebody when we are used to saying Yes can be challenging as we fear we will be rejected.

Many of us, from childhood on, are taught that saying yes is right and saying no is wrong. We learn that acceding to demands allows us to avoid conflict and criticism, please people, earn praise, and prove that we care for the important people in our lives. Yet the right to say no is indelibly intertwined with the ability to make choices. When we sense we are limited in our options, compelled to say yes even when doing so is not in our interests, we are effectively robbed of our ability to choose. Growing out of this tendency to say yes even when we desperately want to say no can be challenging because we suspect that others will reject us for our assertiveness. But the reward we receive upon facing this challenge is true freedom of choice.

When others ask you to take on work or do favors, consider their requests carefully. If you feel pressed to say yes, consider whether you are acquiescing out of a desire for approval or to stave off disapproval. Remind yourself often that the ability to say no is an important aspect of well-being, as it is an indication that you understand the true value of your energy, talents, and time. As you learn to articulate your personal power by saying no, you may feel compelled to explore the myriad consequences of the word by responding negatively to many or most of the requests put to you. The word “no” may even become your default response for some time. When you see that life moves forward without interruption, however, you will grow more comfortable saying no and will resume making decisions from a point of balance.

There is nothing inherently wrong with acceding to the requests others make of you, provided these requests do not infringe upon your health or your happiness. Keep in mind that it is only when you feel you have the legitimate right to say no that you can say yes with utmost certainty, sincerity, and enthusiasm. While saying yes almost always has a cost, you can feel good about offering your agreement when your reasons for doing so are rooted in your individual values and your appreciation for the appeal before you.

Default Dana Mrkich - From the Mud comes the Lotus Flower

Dana Mrkich - 2014: From the Mud comes the Lotus Flower

Tuesday, January 21, 2014

http://danamrkich.blogspot.com.au/20...us-flower.html

Quote:
A video version of this will be posted....once we get a Cicada free day! They're singing their song here in Sydney, Australia every day, all day. On the positive side they represent rebirth and renewal!

If 2013 was the year of walking through mud, 2014 is the year we emerge like a Lotus Flower in bloom. Our whole energy field is awakening and coming to life. Light is being shone onto every aspect of us. Every inch of our Sub-Conscious carpet is being lifted off us so that we can see what is underneath. The veil that has been covering our Super-Conscious is being pulled back so that we can see what is truly within and all around us.

You can see why we have been guided and called year after year to clear our ‘stuff’. On some level we have known that there was a time waiting for us when the renovation crew were coming, complete with their removal trucks, garbage bags and heavy-duty cleaning gear. If you are up to your neck in dust as it is, can you imagine what you’d be dealing with right now if you hadn’t done all that clearing ahead of time?

We knew they were also coming with interior stylists who would, once our home was relatively clean, start overhauling our residence with a good upgrade and show us home highlights that we had no idea existed: “Did you know if we take down this wall here, it will give you a whole new, expanded living area?” “If you put a few shelves in here you can double your available space.” “Let’s add some pink here and green there, now feel the difference!”
The interior stylists are frequencies of light, entering our Earth’s energy field, as well as our collective and personal energy fields, activating everything they touch to awaken, to remember, to expand, to rise to match the frequency that is our new ‘home’.

We can fear the idea that there is yet more ‘hidden to be revealed’ but whereas our past personal inner revelations were more of the difficult kind to confront, now we are confronting amazing, brilliant, creative, wise, intelligent, intuitive, compassionate aspects of ourselves that we have never before connected to as fully as we will.

Yes, some of what we’re feeling and discovering right now doesn’t feel great – especially on the collective field level – but it sure beats being in denial and illusion. Awareness creates the opportunity for empowerment and conscious action. Awareness calls us to accept a greater responsibility for that which we are choosing to create and participate in whether on a personal, community or global level.

We will be discovering and called to embody powerful, exciting aspects of ourselves this year that we have not previously allowed to emerge or be fully expressed. We can be just as scared of the potential of our Light and Power, as we have been in the past to look at our pain and wounds. Don’t be afraid of your Light, your Power or your Emergence. When the interior stylist nudges you to do something quite out of your comfort zone, (like the experience I recently had with the Emergence of my Red Self), and you’re freaking out a bit but something inside is jumping up and down saying ooh this feels good..…do it.

You may feel at times like you’re undergoing a complete identity re-construction and in some ways you are, although in truth you are just opening to more of who you really are – and more of who you have always been. Many of us have thought of our Higher Self or Greater Self or Soul as being something outside of us, or separate to us. Yet it is not. This is YOU. The YOU looking out through your eyes right now is your Soul, is your Greater Self, only we have had so much of ourselves covered, hidden and influenced by all kinds of filters and lenses we found it difficult to connect to our own self as being, well, our own self! Now, we are going to feel ourselves embodying more and more of who we really are and receiving our identity from our greater, whole truth, rather than as before receiving our identity from that which covered and influenced us. Those influences were important of course, but now we are learning to integrate them and put them in their proper place rather than taking them on board as our primary identity. Exciting times…as always!

Disseminating Moon Phase: communicate, share, introspect, teach, learn

Moon: Libra

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

Mars continues his story. "My archenemy is the archenemy of all but I hunt him for one reason: to avenge my sister, Eris. He stalks her, incessantly waiting for the right moment to tap into her energy and distort it, reigning down chaos and destruction on humanity. She is a goddess of death and rebirth, the natural order of life, but she also holds fury, which makes her very powerful; and because she is a keeper of ancient magic, dark magicians try to capture her. But Eris is the queen of the battlefield, and when we are united no force can defeat us."

The Moon will conjunct Mars today, and Mars is very close to exact opposition with Eris. This tends to bring up conflicts for resolution. Restrictions and limitations, particularly those involving disrespect, come down. We can become quite impulsive under these influences, so we want to be mindful and think before speaking or reacting.

The themes of today's energy involve unmasking or revealing the true nature of something. This can involve anything - people, motivations, agendas, facades, persona and image, relationships, plans, intentions, etc. We see the reality of something, possibly for the first time.

This energy tries to shed doubt, confusion, conformity, and self-judgment so that we are able to see through to the heart of matters. Part of this is likely to involve seeing yourself face-to-face, and having to face a truth about yourself. Remember that the Sabian symbol for this month tells us that we are students of nature. Today we are students of our own nature as well as human nature. If we get stuck in critical self-judgment, we interrupt the process that's underway this month. Things are changing - transforming - and matters are rectifying, revising, and revamping. Shame and judgment stops spiritual warriors cold. Through media, the matrix is the prime generator of feelings of shame and judgment. It's an effective tool that keeps us neutralized. So we will "keep it real" by remembering that the changes are for our highest and best.

The real truth, the truth that extraordinary measures have been enacted to conceal, is the truth of human uniqueness. The goal of Sophia's vision is to facilitate humanity's expression of its uniqueness. The potential for this expression is so beautiful and so fabulous that it drew her out of her home in the Galactic Center! It would have to look pretty good for an aeon to be taken so. Worth remembering and certainly worth the aim.

Default The Time of Your Life - Learning to Slow Down

The Time of Your Life
Learning to Slow Down

January 22, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41893.html

Quote:

When we rush through our days and lives, we fail to notice the simple beauty of living.

Throughout our lives, we are taught to value speed and getting things done quickly. We learn that doing is more valuable than merely being, and that making the most of life is a matter of forging ahead at a hurried pace. Yet as we lurch forward in search of some elusive sense of fulfillment, we find ourselves feeling increasingly harried and disconnected. More importantly, we fail to notice the simple beauty of living. When we learn to slow down, we rediscover the significance of seemingly inconsequential aspects of life. Mealtimes become meditative celebrations of nourishment. A job well-done becomes a source of profound pleasure, no matter what the nature of our labors. In essence, we give ourselves the gift of time—time to indulge our curiosity, to enjoy the moment, to appreciate worldly wonders, to sit and think, to connect with others, and to explore our inner landscapes more fully.

A life savored slowly need not be passive, inefficient, or slothful. Conducting ourselves at a slower pace enables us to be selective in how we spend our time and to fully appreciate each passing moment. Slowness can even be a boon in situations that seem to demand haste. When we pace ourselves for even a few moments as we address urgent matters, we can center ourselves before moving ahead with our plans. Embracing simplicity allows us to gradually purge from our lives those commitments and activities that do not benefit us in some way. The extra time we consequently gain can seem like vast, empty stretches of wasted potential. But as we learn to slow down, we soon realize that eliminating unnecessary rapidity from our experiences allows us to fill that time in a constructive, fulfilling, and agreeable way. We can relish our morning rituals, linger over quality time with loved ones, immerse ourselves wholeheartedly in our work, and take advantage of opportunities to nurture ourselves every single day.

You may find it challenging to avoid giving in to the temptation to rush, particularly if you have acclimated to a world of split-second communication, cell phones, email and overflowing agendas. Yet the sense of continuous accomplishment you lose when you slow down will quickly be replaced by feelings of magnificent contentment. Your relaxed tempo will open your mind and heart to deeper levels of awareness that help you discover the true glory of being alive.

Default Not Without Our Consent

Not Without Our Consent

January 21st, 2014

by Zen Gardner

http://www.zengardner.com/without-consent/

Quote:

Nothing happens without our permission. In one way or another, consciously and/or subconsciously, we give our approval or disapproval by our actions, words and intentions.

Over time our accountability increases.

A mad world swirls around us in this manifestation with our inherent agreement. Without our complicit cooperation in support of this insane system none of this would be happening. No worldwide massacres would happen without soldiers; no economic rape would take place without bankers and merchants; and no social degradation and control would be perpetrated on humanity without willing teachers, administrators and enforcers.

It takes the cooperation of the people. When we cooperate with them, they succeed.

When we don’t, they don’t. It’s that simple.

Why?…

Because waking up to the true reality around us is too much work, and way too uncomfortable for most of the entranced masses. If you acknowledge things are as seriously wrong as they are and the reality of their true devastating effects on human life, you might have to change and do something about it.

Most people have developed coping devices that have become a way of life. The most effective is outright denial that it’s all that bad or even happening at all. You’ll see that everywhere if you’re an awake and aware soul, and it can be disheartening at times.

It’s somewhat simplistic but denial is a pretty good catch all.

Don’t face the Truth. Period. For a plethora of reasons. And keep your head in the sand….until your butt gets kicked.

The Belief Bamboozle

The subtle yet stronger partner of denial ironically enough is belief. Playing on your dreams and hopes, beliefs, as opposed to true spiritual knowledge, effectively co-opts your subconscious aspirations and ability to take fully conscious and effective action. After all, you “believe” the answer is coming, everything will be OK all by itself, or an outside power will save you.

That’s how many have chosen to cope. And there’s a massive support system for that…not without a whole lot of help from the manipulators who have identified these traits and scientifically used this human weakness to their advantage.

Belief systems and schools of thought, even drippy new age wishful constructs, are such a convenient escape for all of the accumulated undigested junk stuffed into that over-populated ‘state of denial’ in the mind of humanity. But humanity retreats to “Heck, why not go there for refuge? It’s comfy. And there are so many others there, just look at all the churches and religious institutions. There must be a lotta truth to it.”

The overall result? No true conscious rationale for behavior, no clear right and wrong or loving or unloving boundaries, just mindless acceptance of the status quo–with some anesthetized escape system waiting around the corner to appease the mass mind and conscience.

Football anyone? How about celebrity or mainstream news drivel?

Hanging on to false hopes can’t be a more inhibiting phenomenon. That’s why religions are so effective. Trapped in little “hives of hope”, so called faithful believers of every persuasion are co-enabling each other on massive scales world wide. These hopeful followers are hoping and praying for deliverance and salvation from a world they themselves help to build and support on a daily basis.

See anything strange there?

After all , Christians justify by “scripture” that the “powers that be are ordained by God”. Argue with that if you’re in the belief camp. It’s an off the charts blanket assessment, and yet it’s applied in a timeless, unconscious across-the-board fashion that makes your head spin. Same with unquestioned loyalty and support to so-called “royalty” or the murderous Zionist state of Israel.

And so few can see it for what it is.

Response is Neutered

What’s revealing is when you realize the amazing extent of this false hope escape/denial system. It’s massive. The inaction and lack of response it spawns is the perfect disarmament tool for these dastardly controllers and social engineers.

This is all over not just religions, but intellectual circles, scientific explain-aways, dumbed-down education, the new age movement, media mantras, and on and on.

I don’t want to do a blanket diss of anything, I just want people to be seriously cautious and most of all conscious. As soon as you give away your autonomy to group-think, you’re going to have energy depletion problems and a loss of conscious Truth.

Fast.

On Guard

All of this false information is way too easy to co-opt and twist, which they effectively do.

A lot of issues are at work, and basically people should continually be on guard. There are plenty of entangling belief systems ready to suck people in. Some are outright and seemingly obvious, some are very subtle.

Challenge and question everything!

Stay fully conscious and you’ll be fine.

The Spiritual Abuse Sting

The thing about belief systems is the subtle yet powerful spiritual and mental abuse involved. Much of this is because people are basically debilitated from birth in today’s world and they don’t catch the nuances of deceit in the societal fabric until they wake up…or it’s too late.

Just look–when there’s a fad or perceived social shift, the masses sway like seaweed in the social tidal flow.

They see no choice; it’s apparently right because it seems like it is. And the medium–the social swirl about us–not truth–is pressuring them to conform. It’s a serious social disorder, and belief systems are a logical and perpetual byproduct as well as major perpetuator of this fabricated illusion.

And remember, there are plenty of parasitic forces ready to pounce on the naive new “believer” when they reach out for something more. Plenty. Many of them are sincerely thinking they’re “carrying out the program” so it can be hard to spot.

Beware. Be aware.

Conclusion

This short treatise is in response to many comments and articles I’ve seen that smack of wrong dependency. Think for yourself.

This dependency is so endemic in our less than conscious world it’s almost entrancing. It’s entrained in us via education at all levels, the media, and any possible avenue. We must recognize these influences and see them for what they are and stay free and above them.

Detach.

It’s not that hard. Get above it first. Be the observer you truly are.

It clarifies everything.

Much love,

Zen

Quote:

FRIDAY'S MERCURY/MARS AND moon in Scorpio bring the workweek to a positive end. Saturday morning could have a slow start, but the hard-edged stars happen before most of us are out of bed. It’s the dip day of the weekend. By Sunday, the energy is on percolate again.

January began on a super moon and ends on one too. Pluto’s edict ruled the Capricorn new moon on January 1. Since then, we’ve all been hard at work on the turn-it-around clock. Uranus sparks the super-charged Aquarius new moon on January 30. Expect to have an epiphany or an awakening, or for circumstances, opportunity, creativity, and social trends to come vibrantly alive. Something could burst into awareness or into actuality in the few days prior to next Thursday’s new moon.

Making contact with Uranus, Pluto, Jupiter, and Venus, Tuesday’s Capricorn moon pushes forward on a busy agenda. It’s a time to lay it on the line. Put ambition into action, do the work, make it official, get the result. Once past push-comes-to-shove, ambition can meet with solid gain.

Still travelling retrograde to Friday next week, Venus in Capricorn makes her appearance in the morning sky. The ancients used this Venus cycle for conquest. If you’ve been waiting for your flint-strike moment, this is it. Sunday through the first week of February provides a fresh window of opportunity for the courageous risk taker.

Aries
March 20 - April 19

The end of the week can see you make good progress. Friday’s stars are great for wheeling and dealing, a get-together, or an intimate encounter. Sunday/Monday, you should find yourself in full swing and playing a good game. There or almost there, Tuesday can thrust you into the final stretch of an important decision, undertaking, or long-awaited conclusion.

Taurus
April 19 - May 20

A friendly vibe prevails on Friday. Business and pleasure mix well as the workweek comes to a close. Mercury in Aquarius can open you up to a new line of thinking. It can also put fresh options and opportunity in your path. Stick with it and you’ll get yourself somewhere good. Sunday begins a momentous and happening week. Aim to rock it Tuesday/Wednesday.

Gemini
May 20 - June 21

You can expect life to keep well on brew for the rest of the month. Intellectually, creatively, and socially, you’re a sharpshooter while Mercury continues in Aquarius to next Friday. Something new regarding finances, family, real estate, professional development, or an official relationship status can open up, kick into gear, or thrust you into action mid next week.

Cancer
June 21 - July 22

Jupiter, the growth and increase planet, will be in Cancer through mid July. The search for more and better continues to be steady fuel. To the beginning of March, Jupiter retrograde puts you back in touch with what you need most—from yourself and the world around you. Through the end of the month, Jupiter/Pluto builds urgency on that growing need.

Leo
July 22 - August 22

Friday’s events are sure to push your Refresh button. A talk, social exchange, or shopping excursion perks you right up. A night of indulgence or lust hits it just right too. Saturday and Tuesday, the stars move you past a personal, intellectual, or relationship block. Sunday can light a spark. The busy week ahead keeps you in good flight.

Virgo
August 22 - September 22

Friday’s Mercury/Mars alignment makes for a relatively smooth go of the work, the spending, or the rationalization. Try a new technique, angle, or tool—it could work well for you. Saturday moves you past a mindset or stumbling block. Sunday onward you’ll gain a much better sense of direction. On Tuesday, effort nets significant results. Take charge, push ahead, call the shots, and make it happen.

Libra
September 22 - October 23

At work or at play, Mars in Libra keeps it on a smooth dial-up as the workweek finishes. On Friday, get your sexy on. Sunday/Monday keeps the good vibe and your good ideas going strong. Tuesday could be a milestone day regarding a legal judgment, a contract, an important decision, a result, a money matter, a beginning, an ending, or a completion. From here, you move onto a lucrative fresh page.

Scorpio
October 23 - November 22

You’ll find yourself nicely situated, in your element, and coasting right along on Thursday/Friday, thanks to Mercury/Mars and the Scorpio moon. On Tuesday, push the boundaries, force things into action, and gain. It can be an eventful and lucrative launch-it or find-it day. Tuesday through next Friday, watch for important news, information, or results, a visit, an event, or a major opportunity to set big wheels in motion.

Sagittarius
November 22 - December 21

Same-page accord comes readily Thursday/Friday. You’ll find it’s easy to relate, negotiate, track folks down, or find what you’re looking for. Sunday/Monday, the Sagittarius moon keeps you nicely replenished, on top of your game, and connecting the dots very well. Tuesday, a major push is on. You may have to work for it, but there’s plenty to be gained.

Capricorn
December 21 - January 19

Cooperation, agreement, and win/win can be easily achieved Thursday/Friday. You’ll find those in charge are more willing to accommodate you or give you a chance. Monday/Tuesday, you’re a dynamo. Call the shots, give it your all, don’t hold anything back. Wednesday onward fast-tracks you into something fresh and lucrative.

Aquarius
January 19 - February 18

Right place, right time, right words: Mercury/Mars keeps you quick on the uptake Thursday/Friday. Next Thursday’s super new moon in Aquarius stokes you with exceptional fuel. You’re likely to feel the energy surge as early as Sunday. Tuesday can build more pressure or incentive, or require added force. Midweek sets the new reality into play.

Pisces
February 18 - March 20

Mercury/Mars makes for good sharing or good lovin’ on Friday. Sunday, it’s time to freshen it up and/or get moving in a new direction. Tuesday’s full-to-the-brim day can see you reach a significant goal or make major progress with someone or something. It could be a big money day—earning or spending it.

Disseminating Moon Phase: communicate, share, introspect, teach, learn

Moon: Libra/Scorpio

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

A tone resonates through the rainbow bridge and the light changes, bathing everything in warm gold. In response, our companions on this month's journey, the band of brothers, stands at attention. Kali walks to the head of the bridge.

"At the end of every crossing of the rainbow bridge lies a reward, which comes only after completion of a test."

We emerge from the rainbow bridge tomorrow, but today each of us, as students of nature, face some sort of test in the story of our own lives. The test is how we handle something. It may come in the form of a very minor thing (and even occur in a seemingly inconsequential interaction) or it may be a very obvious, big test.

Before "test anxiety" sets in, here's the highlight from the study guide: solving the problem on this test involves asking if the situation is outworn. If it is, it is a waste to continue putting precious energy into it because things that are outworn are dissolving - fading.

The test is whether or not we can walk away from it, put it down, not feed into it, let it be.

One of the major features of the Chiron energy, which is the "engineer" of bridges that transport (transform) us from one thing to another, is the temptation toward self-sabotage. This will come into play if we feel we deserve to be punished for something or that we have an inherent, fatal flaw. These are archontic mind programs that keep us enslaved to repeating outworn behaviors and feeding outworn situations. They prevent us from blooming into what we can be.

The transformational process that is underway this month has been enhanced this week by the Moon's nodes contacting the Chiron Point - 04 Taurus - the degree in the sky where Chiron was located when it was discovered. The alchemy of healing old wounds occurs when this degree is activated.

Will you re-engage the wound or will you walk past it? You can look back to the darkness of shadows or you can look toward the horizon, where the "gold" of the soul awaits.

For most of the three plus years that I have been making these videos, I have been a cheerleader of sorts, doing my best to get people to see the good I knew was just ahead of us. I did not ignore the issues; but I did see light at the end of the tunnel. I still do; however, I also see delay after delay in fixing the problems we face collectively because, as I see it, so many 'spiritual' people refuse to even acknowledge that problems exist. If more people would actively get on board with those who are genuinely trying to make the world better, we could bring about change more quickly. Yes, I feel impatience. To many, this is enough reason to criticize me, call me immature or self-righteous. Some keep it to themselves; others are blatant about it, trying to engage me on YouTube or Facebook and even suggesting that I record a conversation with them so that they can show everyone just how messed up I am. Sorry, folks, integrity to me is marching to the beat of my own inside drummer and focusing where I feel attention needs to be placed and honoring my feelings whatever they may be. Simple as that!

Default Running Away versus Moving Forward

Running Away versus Moving Forward
Facing Problems

January 23, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41894.html

Quote:

Make sure you aren’t running away from your problems, always moving towards something.

There are times when change - moving to a new city or a new home, or changing careers - is the right thing at the right time. But there are also times when the urge for change is really just a desire to run away from problems that need to be faced rather than avoided. These are the kinds of problems that recur in our lives. For example, issues with coworkers that seem to arise at every job we take, or repeatedly getting into unhealthy relationships. A move might temporarily distract us, and even cure the problem for a time, simply by taking us out of the situation in which the problem fully manifested itself. However, the problem will eventually appear again in our new situation.

One way to make sure you aren’t running away from your problems is to notice whether you are moving towards something that is exciting in its own right, as opposed to something that is appealing only because it is not where you are now. For example, if you are leaving a city because you feel you can’t afford it, you could be reinforcing poverty consciousness, and you might find that you are unable to make ends meet in your new city as well. It would ultimately be less of an effort to stay where you are and look more deeply into your beliefs about money. You may discover that as you address these issues, you are able to make more money simply by changing your mindset. You may still decide to move, but it will be an act with a positive intention behind it and not an escape, which could make all the difference.

Any pain involved in facing our issues is well worth the effort in the end. When we face our problems instead of avoiding them, we free our energy and transform ourselves from people who run away into people who move enthusiastically forward.

Default Horoscope for the Week: January 24, 2014

Horoscope for the Week: January 24, 2014

By Michael O'Connor - Castlegar News

http://www.castlegarnews.com/lifestyles/241726331.html

Quote:

Tip of the Week:

The cycle of Aquarius is underway (Jan 19 – Feb 18). The noticeable increasing hours of daylight is a sign of it. The cycle of the Earth around the Sun, or the apparent path of the Sun, both ‘true’ from different points of view, reveals this very particular and rhythmic distribution of sunlight. This is true everywhere in the world, though less so near and at the equator and has always been and will always be. This intimate relationship between the Earth and Sun determines what season, month, day and time it is. The Moon lends an important contributing factor as well. The calendars and clocks used all over the world are based on these natural, fundamental measures. It determines the celebration of the precise moment of New Year every year. Of course, the division of the year by Time Zone designated by Greenwich and the International Date Line means that due to the rotation of our planet, there are 24 times zones based on the 24 hours of the day, the 360 degree circle divided into segments of 15 degrees of longitude each. Despite the fact that modern technology provides artificial light, the annular and seasonal distribution of light remains consistent. We are also psychologically and spiritually influenced by the rhythmic and cyclic flow of sunlight. Western Astrology works on the basis of this intimate and pervasive relationship our planet shares with its host star. The division of the year by 12 gives us the 12 ‘Signs’. As well as archetypes in themselves, these are illustrated and experienced as the seasonal flow, steadily changing yet rhythmic distribution of the sun’s light, change in weather, organic cycle, animal migrations and more. The Sun in Aquarius means that we have entered the month of mid-winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. Beyond even our precious clocks and calendars, the annual, rhythmic, natural ‘signs’ are self-evident.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

‘The times are a changin’ and you are certainly taking a lead once again. At worst, this may be disruptive, both within you and close to home and thereby affecting familial relationships. There is a revolutionary momentum underway here that will peak in mid-February and carry on into March. Accept the changing status quo and be extra cooperative especially at home.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

You are fully in the limelight now. Yet, do you want all the attention you are getting? Making the most of it, seek favours and earned rewards and any other kind of recognition that you do want. Opportunities to improve, repair and heal performances, things and relationships, are also coming to the fore. Take a commanding lead for best results.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Your sights are set on creating a brighter future. You know that to achieve this some things have got to change. It is likely that this process has already begun both within you and in certain outer circumstances as well. Connections with unique, innovative and progressive people are a source of inspiration. Aim to merge minds and visions into a new creative synthesis.

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

As this week gets underway you find yourself in a deep mood. The needs and concerns of others, perhaps the world in general, is weighing in. This is provoking changes within you and is affecting your home, family, associations and professional relationships too. The deeper meanings of security and power are under review.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

Some nights are darker than others. Sometimes the dark implies experiences that are heavy and difficult to bear while at others it is peaceful and restorative. Either way, a new day is dawning. This is stimulating you to more fully appreciate your relationships with family, friends, and professional associations. Above all, focus on your own healthy self-regard and inner allegiance.

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

The Sun in Aquarius is activating an inventive streak. At least you will be inspired to do something different, to alter your habits and routines. Your ambitions are deeper than usual. Yet part of the answer includes variety and play. New information producing fresh perspectives and approaches should do the trick. Aim to be extra open-minded.

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)

You are in a playful, sporting and provocative mood. You want to connect with others and they want to engage you too. Establishing a more efficient flow at home is featured. Blending beauty with function feels right. Taking calculated risks and making key investments to increase public and/or professional opportunities is your core goal.

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

A steady flow of change in your lifestyle, especially noticeable over the past few years, is set to undergo yet another shift. Your vocation and health are important factors influencing your choices. This one comes with an added measure of challenge. A revision in some of your more important relationships may be required to improve the quality and equality of exchange.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)

Your social index is on the rise. Amidst an increased ‘to-do’ list, you are happy to meet and greet friends new and old. Now is a good time to dress for success. At deeper levels, the three constants of life: sex, death and/or taxes, may be extra prevalent now. With this cycle of added social stimulation, focus to enhance your sex appeal for increased opportunity.

Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

A window of opportunity has opened. Increased support of all kinds should be available. You may have to ask but you will probably receive. Overindulgence is the main culprit to overcome. Excess could prove extra costly now. If necessary, acknowledge and break free of obsessive thoughts and deeds. Make the most of this window and ask respectfully.

Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)

The time has come to be more assertive and advance your position somehow. As important as it is to take a few risks now, balance deliberate action with good judgement in your dealings with others. It may be necessary to draw a clear line between business and pleasure. Fortunately, your intuitions are running extra high now so make full use of them.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

A busy and productive time behind the scenes is likely now. The key to your success includes seclusion. Your ambitions are probably running high now so this is a good time to get ahead. It is also a good time to ask for support. Family and friends will likely be more cooperative, even supportive and you may also get more positive response for employers and new clients.
