First Quarter Moon Phase: take action, step out, expression, growth

Moon: Aries

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

Grand transformations are happening right before our eyes as we continue this month's metaphorical journey with the band of brothers. But Pluto's prediction that good fortune was at hand was correct. Unbeknownst to us, a powerful wizard from a far-away land has enchanted us. Judging our worthiness as warriors of the heart, this kind wizard bestowed us with strength and left a map with markings. We learn that he has also disenchanted the war party that follows on our heels with a fog of confusion.

We need this boost of strength and the map because we continue to travel through the domain of the Black Moon. It is a menagerie. We are walking around an area of quicksand. If we walk too fast or take on too much, we will become burdened and start to sink. So we are careful to balance everything we are carrying today, discarding whatever is dragging us down. We give it to our companion this month, Kali, for her to do with it as she will.

The Sun ("the powerful wizard from a far-away land") released an X1-class flare yesterday around 2:54 pm EDT/ 7:54 pm UTC. The buildup and release occurred over a few hours. A coronal mass was also ejected. The sunspot that released the flare is huge - at times as large as three Earths. The energetic occurred during the opposition of the Moon to Mars. The Moon became the fourth point in a Grand Cross between Mars, Jupiter, and the Sun. Grand crosses strongly imprint energy. It's like a branding. And they are much misunderstood, but that is a story for another day. This energetic branding reinforced the power of the sacred masculine.

The key today is to not become burdened. Along the natural course of living, all month long we are taking personal responsibility for where we are, what we are doing, and where we plan to go. We can take it too far and take on too much responsibility. This doesn't just mean tasks or commitments of time. It also means what we mentally take responsibility for. We need to view this from a perspective of aiming for balance.

We also need to view this as a time of transformation. Situations may seem to be repeating and we may find ourselves feeling back at the same old place, or doing the same thing again and again. We are not going in circles. We are going in spirals. But if you feel stuck or paralyzed, recognize that this is because you are still rooted to something from the past.

Kali is our instructor this month, teaching us little-known aspects of life. We are transformed by this. Her brilliance and sometimes her pressure forms multi-facets to things - things like gems. She also unearths things, enabling new things to be discovered - things like gems. Stay out of the quicksand today and watch for the sparkles of gems.

Default Cosmic Support - The Universe’s Plan for You

Cosmic Support
The Universe’s Plan for You

January 8, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41562.html

Quote:

Nothing happens in our lives and in the world without purpose.

The path that speeds us toward our dreams can be a challenging and complex one, so it’s easy to get bogged down in confusion and insecurities. We often hesitate at the start of that path, questioning our purpose or our capabilities. Yet we should be moving forward joyously, eager to discover what destiny has in store for us. The universe has plans for us that eclipse anything we have dreamed of thus far. Though we must work diligently to fulfill our potential and to accomplish our individual missions, the universe is aware of both the quests we chose before birth and the goals we have formulated in adulthood. If we accept that it us watching over us and believe that it will facilitate our eventual success, the universe will provide us with the assistance and opportunities that enable us to make significant progress on our journeys of ambition.

Nothing happens without a purpose. Whether we attract success or repel it depends on our willingness to stay open to a wide range of possibilities and to embrace concepts like synchronicity. The universe is always ready to care for our needs, but we must not write off its loving attention as mere circumstance or chance. Likewise, we must endeavor to ensure that our egos do not become a barrier that prevents us from recognizing that even perceived mistakes and strife can be profound lessons that smooth the progress of personal evolution. When we understand that we only need to enthusiastically try our best to realize our objectives, the universe will take care of the details, propelling us forward in its unstoppable current. We may not always immediately understand the significance of certain experiences, but our trust will help us choose wisely at each crossroads.

The universe wants to see you accomplish your goals. No matter how long you’ve dallied or hesitated, it will always be there to put its plan for you in motion at the first sign of your faith. You can make the most of this aid by acquiescing to it rather than fighting it—nurture your dreams but do not attempt to micromanage every detail along the way. The universe will provide you with guidance and, if you heed that guidance, you will find your formerly stressful quest for success will become a journey of great joy.

Default You May Wake Up… But Will You Get Out of Bed?

You May Wake Up… But Will You Get Out of Bed?

Wednesday, January 8th, 2014

by Julian Rose

http://www.zengardner.com/may-wake-will-get-bed/
Quote:

Each one of us came here with a purpose.

Either we decided, or a higher being decided on our behalf, that our spirit would attach to a particular physical body which would manifest itself through the act of conjugation between a particular man and a particular woman.

Well yes, you might say..that may be..but does this necessarily imply having ‘a purpose’? Or are we simply the result of a chance vibratory attraction that has no particular calling or reason to be?

Those of an atheistic, non believing persuasion, may opt for the chance vibratory connection; believing the Universe to be an arbitrary collection of orbs, energies and vortexes that have fallen into certain patters by chance – with no innate order suggesting the hand of a ‘cosmic conductor’ in the background.

To such individuals, everything happens either by chance or by an act of purely human will. For those of this persuasion ‘coincidence’ is just that – even if it occurs with surprising regularity and produces some startling results – the view remains “that’s just luck”.

Those who live their lives this way can’t fully wake-up. That is to say, they cannot – or will not – become conscious of the power of a higher source that works with them and through them, if so encouraged.

They cannot experience or imagine themselves as a part of that higher consciousness, if they do not believe it exists.

Thus life has a built in loneliness for such individuals, demanding various forms of compensation to make daily living a worthwhile experience. One finds many scientists falling into this category. Some at least are curious about a state of higher consciousness – but nevertheless have to ‘prove’ the existence of this ‘God Particle‘ via elaborate and hugely costly experiments. Once having ‘found it’ however, they do not themselves experience any transformatory inner change, metamorphosis of being, or greatly expanded consciousness. They just carry the knowledge as though it were separate from themselves – needing a vast super conductor experiment to reveal some outward sign of its existence.

Then next come ‘the believers’. Those who have had some reason to believe in a higher source of existence beyond our purely earthly cares and needs. Many will have come to this belief through some form of religious persuasion. Maybe a near death experience; maybe something that is simply inherited from elders; something latched onto out of a need to feel protected – or just the need to give some meaning to life.

Many who fill this description operate according to certain moral principles originally derived from biblical sources. They also carry within ‘the fear of God’, worrying that if they step out of line they may be punished. They need priests, gurus and various hierarchical figures to give them direction throughout this life.

They too cannot become fully awake; held back from following their deeper intuition by fear of transgressing the boundaries of socially acceptable behaviour, or through harbouring a simple fear of the unknown.

So that leaves the ‘waking-up’ to a rather small number of individuals who have rejected, or transcended, the first two states described above – and have moved onto the broader and deeper ‘path of discovery’. A path which leads through a number of initiatory levels of experience quite unfamiliar to the majority.

Experiences that involve piercing the veil of illusion and confronting the truth. Of allowing the inner voice to overrule intellectual deductions – or confirm them. These souls are guided by a higher consciousness. A higher consciousness which they recognise themselves as being innately connected to.

It is only amongst this group of individuals that one will find those who can be said to be ‘awake’ in the fuller sense of the word. Individuals able to discern right from wrong; not because of some extended studies in human psychology, but out of a deep intuition whose source is Divine.

A source that prompts recognition that this is indeed ‘The Age of Truth’. That those who are awake are in awe of its powers and in harmony with its intent. Yes, it has intent. The big question is: what is it?

What is the intent behind Truth? And how is it to express itself? How is it to be expressed?

The intent behind Truth is the catalysed desire for the full expression of Essence. The ‘I am that I am’ rising with each dawn of each day and spreading its rays in glorious affirmation. A vast outpouring of all that ‘Is’; so that all that Truth touches is permeated with the realisation of its Divine and ever fecund potentiality. We can be that touchstone.

When we experience this wave of Truth, we rightly call it Love. For that is what it is. Love is Truth and Truth is Love – they are an interchangeable feast. And like all good feasts, they attract indulgence – and it would be foolish indeed to resist such – for it is necessary to satiate this thirst which is common to us all and knows no limits or boundaries in its scope; just as the Universe cannot know of any limitations to its infinitely expansive potential.

Energy expressed through Love-Truth is the summation of the all by the one – and one by the all.

It is the manifestation of the glory of life.

So, bringing us back to Earth, ‘coming awake’ is the act of joining-in this feast; whose first course is an introductory glimpse of Love-Truth, and whose main course promises a fuller comprehension of its manifested expression within ourselves – and without. And it is precisely here where we face the biggest challenge to our authenticity.

The main course, in all its glory, is unattainable while our centre of gravity remains essentially inward looking; while we remain only intent upon attaining the inner flowering and its attendant awakening of an initial state of ‘awareness’. The main course is only attainable when we reach out and take action, beyond the confines of the self.

Therefore I say, you may wake-up – but will you get out of bed?

Things can seem very cosy under the early morning warmth of our sheets and blankets. There is that enduring sense of protection which cossets us, oh so pleasantly, and a lingering sleepiness that has its own pacifying affect over our minds and bodies – so maybe we don’t really need to get out of bed after all .. Can’t we just stop at the first course and savour its delights for as long as they last .. and not trouble ourselves with the main course at all? That way we can live our lives in scented spaces of wakeful awareness, free from the subversive frictions emanating forth from a world gone drastically off-course – while we dreamed. A world still waiting for the equally drastic reorientation which can save it from apocalyptic implosion. Can’t we reach our promised land without having to grapple with that chaotic state of planetary distress?

The answer to that question brings us to the fourth level. A level that represents the final initiation for those who are ‘aware’ but have yet to cross the threshold into fuller consciousness of their divine purpose here on Earth. Those who have not yet got out of bed.

For, as I said at the start, each of us has such a purpose – and it’s just a question of how early or late we come to recognise this and put it into practice as the main driving force of our lives.

The sooner we do, the sooner the transformation of our planetary chaos can take place. The sooner the conviction becomes expressed as outer action, the sooner the vampiric forces that have lived off our dead matter – are fired.

So the sooner you transfer the resonance of these words into a determination to put them into practice – the sooner the forces of love will come flying to your side and guide you in the path of Truth. It is not ‘Truth’ when confined to dialogue, however erudite. That is the sign-post to truth, but not truth itself. It is not Truth until it willingly comes face to face with all that captures, oppresses, diverts and subdues the genius of human creativity and love – and determines to overcome it – in service to humanity and to this planet which is our garden.

This is the year when we leave behind our story telling and move right into the story itself – forging its destiny through millions of real, pragmatic, on-the-ground purposeful actions. Actions that refuse to be thwarted, even by the most heinous plans, laid in stealth by the sterile operatives of a moribund status quo.

This is the year when ‘we the people’ take back our destinies and join together in mending the broken limbs of this planetary home – of which we are the true trustees and guardians.

Your horoscope for January 9 to 15, 2014

by Rose Marcus on Jan 9, 2014

Quote:

WHILE VENUS CONTINUES along a reassessment backtrack, fuel-it planet Mars—the other half of the relationship equation—has recently thrust into full steam ahead. Don’t get stuck on the cost, the loss, or the past; let it motivate you to build things better from here.

Thursday/Friday, the Taurus moon keeps a smooth and productive pace. On Saturday, Venus retrograde conjoins the Capricorn sun. This is the halfway mark and the peak of the retrograde cycle. We are still immersed in the re-meet and review, but from this point forward we’ll filter, discover, and create through a new lens. Time ripens, opportunity brightens.

Venus ends retrograde at the end of January, shines brightest by mid February, and completes Capricorn by the beginning of March. By October, Venus will align on the far side of the sun. Venus, Mars, et al. will make 2014 a major move-it-forward year for every level of relationship—personal, intimate, social, financial, national, global.

Mercury in Aquarius, starting Saturday, can spark a new dialogue. It also perks up the social, economic, and political action.

Tuesday can be a high-stress, high-impact, volatile day. Guard passwords, health, money, and loved ones. Wednesday’s Cancer full moon can hit your/our/the government’s most vulnerable spot. The attention is on family, home, food, real estate, and contracts; children, the needy, and the past; safety, security, and support. Watch for good progress in the days that follow.

Aries
March 20 - April 19

Venus retrograde puts added emphasis on reevaluating your professional goals and priorities. Family and financial obligations are also up for review. Saturday can make you more aware of your options and limitations, and/or solidify a new course of action. Tuesday/Wednesday forces you to set new ground rules or compels you to action. Either way, you gain. The results work in your favour.

Taurus
April 19 - May 20

You can coast through Monday, but take action and easy- rolling stars will help you get somewhere good. It’s an ideal weekend to revisit the place, face, conversation, or past; to repeat a success or revamp the expectations, goal, or business plan. Mercury in Aquarius sets up something fresh. Handle mid next week with care—and be gentle on yourself.

Gemini
May 20 - June 21

Now through the end of next week is a good time to put your money down, seal the deal, sign up, and/or make it official. Starting Saturday, Mercury in Aquarius perks up your social life and lucrative prospects, and keeps you well stimulated and entertained. Regarding health, wealth, or a tender heart, extra safety precautions are wise Tuesday/Wednesday. Bundle up or shore it up.

Cancer
June 22 - July 22

You’ll get a faster move-on now. Beyond a special event or meet-up, Saturday’s sun/Venus conjunction can illuminate or crystallize a reality. It’s a great day to decide it, buy it, say it, sign it, do it, renew it, or make it official. Wednesday’s stage-setting full moon brings confirmation, security, completion, reward, compensation, a solid fresh start, and/or something more substantial to go on.

Leo
July 22 - August 22

The stars keep you especially quick on the uptake. You don’t need to say a lot to get your point across. The action or the presentation speaks for itself. Saturday/Sunday can be especially productive or informative. Attend a workshop or meeting, get something social cooking, try someone or something new. Wednesday’s full moon brings a brewing potential into fuller view. Follow through, seize opportunity.

Virgo
August 22 - September 22

Thursday through Saturday, the stars keep life on the straightforward dial. You’ll sort it out well and see it all fall into place just fine. A sense of accomplishment or confirmation can be growing for you now. While Wednesday’s full moon could bring a review, reminder, or backtrack, overall the past is receding fast and your future is gaining more solid ground.

Libra
September 22 - October 23

Risk-taking will prove to be of substantial benefit now and in the long term. Saturday’s Venus/sun benefits matters to do with home, family, boundary-setting, real estate, and business development. Mercury in Aquarius, starting Saturday, pushes your Refresh button. Tuesday to Thursday can help you gain added recognition or nail down a professional or financial contract.

Scorpio
October 23 - November 22

Thursday/Friday, simplicity sets a ready breeding ground for satisfaction. Interactions should prove to be fairly straightforward. On Saturday/Sunday, business, study, and pleasure can mix just fine. Get back in touch with an old friend or colleague, or forge a new bond. Wednesday’s lucrative full moon brings big news; a substantial opportunity, gain, invitation, or gift; travel; and added advantage, luck, or popularity.

Sagittarius
November 22 - December 21

Keep at it, and by the weekend you should have plenty to show for your efforts. Saturday’s Venus/sun conjunction calls for a full investment or commitment. Sign on for the long haul. Wednesday’s full moon can bring substantial financial opportunity, perhaps through a significant other or parent. It can also see love or family blossom, or prompt a new home address.

Capricorn
December 21 - January 19

Mars keeps you steadily breaking away from the past and breaking new ground. Venus puts you back in touch with yourself and what’s most important. Saturday can bring a realization, added attention, or an opportunity to do something good for yourself. Tuesday/Wednesday prompts a big move, decision, announcement, purchase, or investment. An interview or presentation goes well.

Aquarius
January 19 - February 18

Saturday/Sunday pushes your Refresh button. Mercury into Aquarius boosts you with a fresh stimulus and plenty of can-do. Tuesday/Wednesday, work or compromised health can overtake you. On the plus side, it’s an auspicious time to sign a contract or make a commitment. As well, you can gain added support, good advice or test results, or an opportunity to prove yourself.

Pisces
February 18 - March 20

Now through the weekend, a reconnect or revisit is well timed. Saturday through Monday can spark something fresh. Tuesday/Wednesday sets you or someone you love into a positive growth spurt. Your ability to convince, emote, or perform is at peak. Watch for a major turnaround or news, for something opportune or long sought-after to come into being.

First Quarter Moon Phase: take action, step out, expression, growth

Moon: Taurus

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

We continue through the brambles of the land of the Black Moon, an underworld of shifting shapes and shadows. Our companions are on high alert. They are fierce warriors, each of them. Mars is skilled in all of the arts of war. Uranus wields the strike force of lightning to shock and stun. Pluto reduces to dust and captures the essence.

Our benefactor Kali follows alongside us, empowering the band of brothers, this force of the sacred masculine.

Suddenly Kali's head jerks to the side and we all stop cold. Her gaze is focused off in the distance. She is listening. The powerful wizard Sabaoth and the great Goddess Sophia are sending a message, she tells us.

Sabaoth, the Gnostic name for the Sun, is at peak power for its solar cycle. Today, Sabaoth and Sophia, the Gnostic name for the Earth, come to us quietly but with booming strength. A lot will happen over the next few days in the world at large and our individual lives. We are entangled in a lot of ways. From one perspective the energy looks treacherous, but from another perspective we see the myriad of connections and possibilities forming new ways of living life, new ways of doing things, new ways of thinking, and new ways of being. This is called transformation and we are deeply in the throes of one.

We maintain the warrior's stance today with an open heart and a grounded mind. We recognize that forces not in alignment with natural order are primed to act out at this time. The chains they've held over the mind of humanity are dissolving. This must be remembered because it is the truth behind the fiction. Walk through emotional tornados (especially fears) that may be swirling around you today. Listen closely so you can get the message that is being sent to you from higher sources. You'll feel it in your heart.

Check important things twice today, especially if electronics are involved in the delivery of information. Go back and check even if you think you are sure. There are screens of illusion in place to make us miss things or misinterpret things.

Wise owl Heather sends this photograph of the Sun (Sabaoth) through a maelstrom of branches, which is pretty much the way the energy is right now. We are sorting our way through a forest of transformation For the full effect of Heather's photograph, click here. There is a great deal of wisdom captured in this photo and we are keen students of nature this month. Keep finding the beauty, guys, and send it this way for the rest of us.

Through the veins of branches, light clearly guides us. It may seem dark inside, but the Sun still beams out there. And it's showing us!

Default Being Aware of Your Thoughts

Curative Attentiveness
Being Aware of Your Thoughts

January 9, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41563.html

Quote:

We seldom accept negative comments from others, however, we so often accept our own inner negative chatter.

Few people enjoy the company of individuals whose attitudes are persistently negative. Yet many of us tolerate the critical chatter that can originate within our own minds. Since we are so used to the stream of self-limiting, critical consciousness that winds its way through our thoughts, we are often unaware of the impact these musings have on our lives. It is only when we become aware of the power of such thoughts that we can divest ourselves of them and fill the emptiness they leave with loving, peaceful affirmations. Many people, upon paying careful attention to their thinking patterns, are surprised at the negativity they find there. But when we take notice of involuntary thoughts in a nonjudgmental way, we initiate a healing process that will eventually allow us to replace intimidating and upsetting self-talk with positive, empowering thoughts.

While the occasional downbeat or judgmental thought may have little impact on your contentment, the ongoing negativity that passes unnoticed can have a dampening effect on your mood and your outlook. When you are aware of the tone of your thoughts, however, you can challenge them. Try to be conscious of your feelings, opinions, and judgments for a single day. From sunup to sundown, scrutinize the messages you are feeding into your subconscious mind. Consider your thoughts from the perspective of a detached observer and try not to judge yourself based on the notions that come unbidden into your mind. Simply watch the flow of your consciousness and make a note of the number of times you find yourself focusing on gloomy notions or indulging in self-directed criticism.

As you become increasingly aware of your patterns of thought, whether positive and negative, you will gradually learn to control the character of your stream of consciousness. Endeavor always to remember that the images and ideas that pass through your mind are transient and not a true representation of who you are. In training yourself to be cognizant of your thoughts, you gain the ability to actively modulate your mood. The awareness you cultivate within yourself will eventually enable you to create a foundation of positivity from which you can build a more authentic existence.

So much to catch up on guys and I'm glad to see the thread still demonstrating the growing wave of the new beginning.

Can I add to one of Lobuck's posts further up this page - casting away unneccessary burdens - gather small stones and write on each stone the name of a worry or concern and then cast them upon the waters of your choice. You don't need these in your precious life.

Default Horoscope for the Week: January 10, 2014

Horoscope for the Week: January 10, 2014

By Michael O'Connor - Castlegar News

http://www.castlegarnews.com/lifestyles/239467731.html

Quote:

Tip of the Week:

As the momentum of 2014 builds, there are some potent planetary alignments adding to the pace. Mars and Jupiter crossed swords on January 8 contributing to a larger pattern involving Uranus and Pluto. As well, we are contending with a sequence of retrograde planetary activity involving the three main personal planets: Venus, Mercury and Mars and with Jupiter and Saturn, the social planets, as well. 2014 began with Venus Retrograde since December 21, 2013. Since the Winter Solstice Astrology Chart represents the spiritual themes slated to unfold over the course of the year, it represents an important theme. The main issue with Venus Retrograde is excessive materialistic values and attitudes. Thus these will come into question this year. Venus turns direct again on January 31, yet it will take until mid- March before it recovers its ‘shadow period’. This ‘recovery period’ is not as powerful as when the planet is actually retrograde but it does still contain some if its residual energy. Then on February 6 Mercury will turn retrograde in Pisces re-entering Aquarius on February 12 and will only turn direct again on February 28. The shadow period of Mercury will continue until about March 20. Meanwhile, on March 1st Mars turns retrograde and will remain so until May 19 and it will take until July 20 before it fully recovers from its shadow period. Saturn and Jupiter are tightly woven into this succession as well. Jupiter turned retrograde back on November 6, 2013 and turns direct again on March 6th, yet remaining ‘in the shadow’, until June 2nd. Finally, Saturn turns retrograde again on March 2nd and will remain so until July 20th and only fully recovers its ‘lost ground’ on October 31st. Altogether, this portrait reveals a dynamic, impulsive and assertive, even aggressive energy pattern reaching right through to mid-summer, yet is countered by the more introverted and restrictive expressions of planets when retrograde. Yes, 2014 is loaded with complexity.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

A sturdy march in 2014 for you describes the way the planetary alignments show. The pace is a consequence of both practical ambitions and brewing conflicts on relationship borders. You are unlikely to meet these with warmth and understanding that will cause you to yield. Even with the prospect of casualty, you are determined to persevere.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Balancing a determined and wilful pace with desires for space and freedom is setting the stage as 2014 gets underway. Aspirations to expand on all fronts remain important to you. Many interactions with others, some of whose ideas and philosophies clash with your own, is the real test. Honour your own individuality and make time for your own pursuits.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

On one hand circumstances reveal a sobering picture. On the other you feel playful and sporting. Your ability to weave these into a harmonious balance is a central challenge now. Changes in your lifestyle affecting your environment, or the other way around, or both, must be realistically acknowledged. Approach this game like a competitive athlete determined to win.

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Some major players making definite power moves must be contended with now. Fortunately, you are in an assertive mood and are determined to dig-in deep as necessary. Generally, you have reason to feel confident. Yet, avoid leaning on the status quo. The more willing and able you are to accept and embrace the steady flow of current changes the better.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

Sober practicality describes the tone of you mood as 2014 gets going. The planetary picture suggests you are determined to advance your position. That you must give more than you might usually is the fine print. The results you seek, however, may not be as apparent as you might like. This is a call for faith. Set a clear intention to persevere all year with clear intentions to win big.

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

The pace of the game is challenging you to be a competitive player. A strong will to learn everything you feel you must and to confront fears of failure are a couple of the strategies required. As well, aim to expand your outreach and to nurture existing connections. Avoid over analysis and affirm you can and will do whatever it takes, as long as it takes.

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)

A good deal of activity close to home should be keeping you busy. Seeing your home, or at least a power zone within it, as your headquarters and/or office will help. Mars in your sign through to July 2014 will help you to overcome obstacles and enter new territory. Some of it is psychological which implies an inspiration and attitude upgrade.

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

You are in the mood to cover a lot of ground now. This includes attending to an array of errands, tasks, projects and people. Be willing to move slower with others especially. You may not feel so sure about all of them and some may feel the same about future prospects with you. Communicate two and three times before making new commitments.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)

Establishing new foundations and or behaviour rhythms replacing recently removed structures and patterns is the call now. However, you are wise to carefully consider the resolve and integrity of others with whom you may be associating these days. Take an experiential and experimental approach and reserve, secure or identify an exit point, just in case…

Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

The determination to begin the year on a powerful note is likely. However, you are wise to review whether your reasons and ambitions match your true values. With Venus Retrograde everyone is being challenged to re-assess their priorities and with Venus in your sign it is especially important. Get training or re-training over the coming months for best results.

Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)

Making diligent efforts behind the scenes now is both likely and ideal. Aim to complete any undertaking or unfinished business now before spring arrives. Avoid procrastination and taking on other projects until what you have begun is done. Faithful and practical perseverance now will increase your confidence and scope of influence by summer especially.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Establishing the ground of new friendships and business associations is important now. Yet, there may be some delays until about mid-March anyway. Since your ambitions are running quite high these days, focus to clear-up unfinished business and/or to concentrate on work and creative projects to be ready for openings of opportunity a little later in the year.

First Quarter Moon Phase: take action, step out, expression, growth

Moon: Taurus

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

The story continues (see Archives)...

The forests of the Black Moon's domain are a familiar place for Kali, she tells us. This place takes elements of the past and churns them to dust. Anything that is blocking the spiraling evolution of consciousness is reduced here. If we are holding on to those elements, we become caught in the grind.

As students of nature, we observe the changing of cycles and through this we see the process of transformation. We are in the time and place in the cycle that directs us to let go of what no longer serves our highest and best. The key here is "highest and best" because all things serve us, one way or another. But what is best? What has a higher purpose? What can we surrender? What are we doing that we no longer need to do? Or has the thing already left? What was lost? What don't we want to accept? What can we truly control?

These are the themes that accompany a teaching from the conjunction of Venus and the Sun that is underway. Allow space for the transformation that is happening inside of you and outside in the world. Wise owls watch this churning dynamic quietly while they are simultaneously aware of the potential all month long for sudden, dramatic events. Though we remain fluid and open, our stance is responsive and strong.

Default Influencing the Tone of Your Life - Color

Influencing the Tone of Your Life
Color

Quote:

Color has the ability to trigger our emotions, affect the way we think and act, and influence our attitudes.

When we enter a room or see an object for the first time, our minds register its color before any other detail. The colors our eyes can perceive are like words that form a subtle language of mood, energy, and insight. Color can exert a gentle effect on the mind and the body, influencing our dispositions and our physical health. Color has the ability to trigger our emotions, affect the way we think and act, and influence our attitudes. You unconsciously respond to the color of the walls in your home, your car, your clothing, and the food you eat based on your body’s natural reactions to certain colors and the psychological associations you have formed around them. The consequences of the decision to paint a room or wear a specific article of clothing therefore goes beyond aesthetics.

The colors you encounter throughout your day can make you feel happy or sad, invigorate you or drain your vitality, and even affect your work habits. Throughout history, cultures spread over many different parts of the globe have attributed varying meanings to different colors. In China, blue is associated with immortality, while people in the Middle East view blue as a color of protection. There is also evidence that human beings respond to color in a very visceral way. Red excites us and inflames our passions. Too much red, however, can make us feel overstimulated and irritated. Pink tends to make people feel loved and protected but also can cause feelings of lethargy. Yellow represents joy or optimism and can energize you and help you think more clearly. Bright orange reduces depression and sadness. Blue and green are known to inspire peaceful feelings, and people are often able to concentrate better and work in rooms painted in soft blues and greens. The darker tones of both colors can make you feel serious and introspective.

There are ways to integrate color into your life that go beyond picking the hues of your décor and your wardrobe. You can meditate with color by concentrating on the colors that make you feel peaceful or using a progression of colors to symbolize a descent into a relaxed state. Color breathing involves visualizing certain colors as you in inhale and exhale. Choose to surround yourself with the colors that you are attracted to and make you feel good, and you can create an environment that makes you feel nurtured, peaceful, and uplifted.

Gibbous Moon Phase: trust, analyze, prepare, digest, magic

Moon: Gemini

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

As the Gibbous phase waxes, high magic descends in the land of the Black Moon. From a cliff overlooking a valley, our motley crew of travelers watches the war party that has been trailing us. They have arrived at the convent of Venus' destination earlier in the week. But it wasn't a convent at all. A "convent" in the land of the Black Moon is a grove. Amid smoke and shadow, the king's magicians are performing a ritual to Venus and her sister Eris. Perched on a pyre, the body of the old hero-king lies cold. A sickening wave of nostalgia, filled with pain, suffering, and death, wafts through the war party and off to far-away lands. Venus and Eris turn their heads in disgust.

Kali, our guide, has no reaction at all. She sees farther away and points to a rainbow on the horizon.

We have a massive confluence of astrological energies in play this weekend, each of them playing out in two ways. Our knowledge of the two sides enables us to walk confidently through the space where the two merge. This is the space of sanity. It is also a place of power because understanding the two realities allows us to mold our experience according to our wishes. The highest values of the energy evoke freedom and healing.

These are the two major astrological confluences with their two realities:

1) Venus-Sun conjunction square the Eris Point (and opposing the Black Moon!) at the degree of "a general accepting defeat gracefully." The Eris Point is the degree of the feminine energy of death, rebirth, freedom, bondage, slavery, war, war heroes, and special forces. Eris is the matron of warriors. The Illuminati magician-minions always use this degree (and strong aspects to this degree) for hijinks, trickery, and spells. The Gibbous Moon phase is a time of magic. The magician-minions' spell infuses the themes of bondage, slavery, and war into the collective. It brings up all of the magic that has been worked into past wars. Memories and shadows are already abundant while the Sun opposes the Black Moon; we've been traveling through her underworld all week. One of one Israel's war hero-leaders, after lingering in coma lo these eight years, suddenly dies during this energetic? We are wise to this.

The other side of the ritual is what will become the bottom line: Brought back into their faces through this ritual-spell, the unintended consequence is that the pain and suffering of war become less palatable to the human collective. The spell backfires. The sacrifice of the king is in vain. (In the narrative I've been writing this week, the wizard disempowered the war party following on our heels with a fog of confusion. The magician-minions do not realize that their spell will not work as they planned. None of them will from now on.)

2) The Moon's Nodes have moved to the Chiron Point (by conjunction and opposition; Neptune is also in sextile, adding a metaspiritual nuance). This aspect of the Moon's Nodes only happens once every nine years. The Chiron Point activates our wounds, but it also heals them. The Moon's Nodes involve our past and our destiny. Wounds from the past come up for healing, releasing us from pain and suffering, and freeing us to proceed with our future - a future aligned with our highest purposes and potentials. This energy is a major contributor to this month's transformation.

Wise owls see the underlying beauty in the happenings of life. We release ourselves from whatever binds us and move toward the actualization of our uniqueness. We see that as the old structures crumble and dissolve, a beautiful, shining structure remains. The life's work of all wise owls, past and present, has constructed a brilliant framework that will lead the course of humanity during the final years of the Kali Yuga. We stand witness.

As I write this last sentence, outside the underworld of Washington, DC in the dead of winter, lightning strikes and thunder rolls.

Default No Country for Old Souls

No Country for Old Souls

Recently the digits changed.

When digits change we maybe stray back and look at: Where are we now? Digits change so rapidly, don’t they? Two digits ago it said 2012. The year of the shift, doom or somehow a mythical year, the myth being manufactured by the Mayans.

Then one digit ago it was sort of a standstill between the aftermath of cancelled doom and nature somehow going berserk. So something’s in the making, Gaia says so.

There’s much talk about the shift. There’s much talk about the awakening. Until it shows – I think that 2014 – 16 will be: No Country for Old Souls.

This Matrix we’re in is one out of many but what’s significant is that it’s very heavy, very dense and fascist.

So maybe our approach is: “Why the hell don’t people see this obvious Matrix and why don’t they wake up.” And that tune is getting more and more hysterical. I don’t think a scare tactic is needed towards the already very scared. That will really take them down.

Double scare just doesn’t work – unless the goal is to follow strong leaders…. Which reminds me of the song by the Who: ‘Won’t get fooled again’.

The Matrix did that through the impact of 9.11 enforced by the media and by politicians all over the world. Oh, boy did they hit it: Surveillance agenda, The Muslim scare, wars, torture, all granted by a Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome – hitter population all over the world. That was a collective impact – but before that, it had to impact the individual. And that transition was so rapid that it’s very hard to determine what came first: The hen or the egg. Fear seems so much more powerful when it comes to impacting the collective consciousness than love.

We have to create an impact of the opposite, which is heart-based love, caring and sharing. So we’re on the road uphill, also embedding the low frequencies of human nature. The difficult but scenic route. The Matrix travels in closed containers.

The un-matrixified can’t command the matrixified to wake up. That’s a no-go, if we want a genuine wake up.

That approach mirrors the Matrix way of inducing collective fear staged by false flag events, economic hit jobs and mind bending the consciousness into obedience.

So I don’t really think that exchanging the old box with a new box is the way forward. Since that is what this strategy will enforce.

We can’t electrocute folks to wake up. Since that awakening will be as much fear based as the present Matrix reality. It may provide a cheering crowd but who really cares about that other than the shouters: Ego. That’s not promoting the waking up – that teaching people to repeat……

We don’t need overhyping high volume egos.

We need respect of the principles of genuine awakening. And that is highly individual. And for the density of the years to come, that being the digits of 14,15,16, to me an awakening, or whatever we prefer to label it as, people will wake up individually in the units of their spiritual family, partner, friends – in other words, within their network.

They will awake when met with spirituality that is not elitist. They will wake up because of the fascist designs of the Matrix; which, as goes for the stupidity of the matrix, it will provide itself. Thank God for the built in fascist self-destructiveness of the powers that will wither.

Each and every person that for some reason is reaching the critical mass in dealing with the Matrix, will eventually wake up in the next three years and that would account for 2017 – 21 looking rather bright in my futuristic scope. And in those years people who are not in critical mass will be impacted and set out for themselves. All looking for information as to the quest they will be undertaking. And that’s were the awakening movement will have its profound impact.

But if that movement doesn’t hold the spirituality and the spiritual respect for the individual (which is frankly the hallmark of the current matrix) people will be fooled again. And I would very much prefer to stay asleep. I want my alarm clock to be subtle and not scare the crap out of me when I get out of bed. Since the wake up is somehow scary – but the hope in that is: One has to set out, the soul pulls and we leave the Matrix or the fragment of it we see, fly like tumbleweeds through airport terminals looking for that place that will promise to be a safe haven.

As the synchronistic mechanic kicks in the gentle souls, and people need that ‘gentle ‘ awakening, the synchronistic gear will pick it up and make a collective impact. That is where we can talk of a genuine collective awakening. Not one nanosecond before!

So there’s a parallel track to cover the next three years: Stone cold facts regarding the fascist matrix and the gentleness of the heart. It will be a most delicate walk.

It has been in my ‘field’ to get greatly inspired by people who could do that and who actually don’t confuse sentimentality with the gentleness and warmth of the heart: one is Stuart and one is Jeff. Both mastodons within their field for decades.

Mentioned here because it is that striving, that resilience, that actually can make you feel: “Yes I want to wake up” because you are treated with knowledge, respect and ‘take what you want – we’re not forcing it down your throaty ‘.

Genuinely, basically, we evolve individually.

Mass awakening comes after, when enough souls are impacted by what they perceive to be their truth. And if that thrust, be it mundane or spiritual, corresponds and connects on an individual frequency with others’ thrust, spiritual or mundane, the wheels of synchronicity will provide the mass awakening. As said: It is not the other way around if we want genuine – and not: ‘meet the new boss – same as the old boss’, wherein they would find themselves in a less dense matrix but it’s still outer control versus inner control or self guidance.

And that is the cut down the road we’re on.
Because this is no country for old souls.

We know we cannot breathe here until everyone can.

We long for and we don’t wait for the new dawn, we try to architect it.

I think as in every construct that we have to be very aware and critical, and self critical as how to lay out the fundamentals. We need to recognize that the ´Truth’ so many advertise also has some multifaceted answers that apply both to the collective and the individual and that’s one epic task.

I don’t know if it has been done before:

The respect and love for the collective project of taking this fascist Matrix down and respecting the spirituality of the individual and that individual’s right to make a belief system for the world that he or she identifies with. It’s both highly private and holds a collective resonance.

Gandhi did move India.
But where’s India today? Repressive, cast based divided society.
Still Ghandi lives on.

Mandela, did he move South Africa? I don’t really think – that’s why the politicians love him. He unchained the apartheid and that cannot be underestimated, but today they have the same apartheid as goes for the 99 percent and the one percent.

So he maybe triggered the removal of the most obvious matrix and the matrixes in the fundamental became obvious.

Layer upon layer we have to scrape it off.

You can’t throw people down the rabbit hole – but you can show them.

Be gentle and warm and maybe don’t shout ‘Truth’ every 5 minutes, because when it’s finally here – nobody will hear you. People will find their truth and when they do:

Then We have the true awakening within the architecture of light.

I so hope for that, Happy New Year.
