Scientists who autopsy cetaceans that wash up dead on British beaches have come to a grim conclusion: some species are being killed by bottlenose dolphins.

Dead porpoises (and other cetaceans) turn up regularly on beaches around Britain. According to a Defra report last year (pdf), the cause of death of 15 out of 56 porpoise bodies found - the majority - was "physical trauma (bottlenose dolphin attack)". The photo above shows the rake marks on a harbour porpoise caused by a bottlenose dolphin....

Tregenza says the Cornwall Wildlife Trust has reported that dolphins have been seen picking up stones from the sea bed and throwing them on the surface. "They were thought to be throwing stones at seals on rocks not far away," Tregenza says.

I once sat on a seawall on the edge of Tampa Bay in Florida looking over at Tampa when I had a very enlightening encounter. I had just rode about 10 miles on my bicycle when I needed a break....sit on the seawall. The bay had a 5 foot chop to it that day so it was pretty rough. I sat looking at the water when all of a sudden a dolphin came right up underneath my hanging legs and blew spay all over me. This went on for about 15 minutes for a total of about 4 times. It really seemed to me that it wanted to play!

that is so cool. These dolphins really make me laugh for some reason - even if they are just meanly throwing rocks at seals! lol...

I suspect that a particularly devious species evolved from monkeys and primates and has grown to secretly rule the world. They probably put out all of these stories about reptilians and fish people in order to cover for the fact that the evolved monkey-people are the real evil rulers of this planet.
