Then again, it depends upon how one uses the term America's.

Theories abound, from at least one Harvadonian and one who knows how the symbology works.

Yeah. I just realized the author does not list himself as a Freemason. I wouldn't have read the book if I had known that. Ignore that post.

From Light from the Sanctuary of the Royal Arch by Charles Albert Snodgrass, 32° K.C.C.H.:
"The Great Pyramid of Ghiza, the most remarkable able edifice the world has ever known - and, in many respects, an unsolved mystery even to the scientists and engineers of the present era - is a structure of more than usual interest to the student of Masonry, not merely because of its antiquity or its unusual form and size, but because it is endowed with a symbolism as marvelous as it is sublime, and because it has stood for centuries as a silent, but eloquent, witness of the truth and wisdom concealed in the Ancient Mysteries, the elements of which are now preserved in the science of Freemasonry." - p. 7.

"Astronomically, the Pyramid is said to mark the center of the universe. At midnight of the autumnal equinox in the year of its completion, the seven stars of Pleaides occupied the heavens directly over it, while Alcyone, the central star of the constellation, was directly over its pinnacle. At the same time the long astronomical tube in the interior of the Pyramid pointed directly at Draconis, then the pole star, at its lowest culmination; a mark in the heavens which could not occur again in 25,000 years.
"Furthermore, science has discovered that the sun is not a dead center; and, according to the best observations, Alcyone appears to be "the midnight throne" in which the whole system of gravitation has its central seat from which the Almighty governs the universe." - pp. 7-8.

"Symbolically, the Pyramid combines the ancient philosophy of numbers with the symbolism of geometry, expressing the numbers 3, 5, 7, and 9, so prominent in all religious and Masonic symbolism..." - p. 10.

"The Triangle is a symbol of the Diety, the Square a symbol of the Earth, and the Cube a symbol of the Universe; hence the Great Pyramid is a symbol of God and the Universe." - p. 14.

"Albert Pike, the most eminent authority of the age, has said:
"Masonry, when properly expounded, is at once the interpretation of the great book of nature, the recital of physical and astronomical phenomena, the purest philosophy, and the place of deposit where, as in a treasury, are kept in safety all the great truths of primitive revelation that form the basis of all religions."
"All religious expression is symbolism; since we can describe only what we see and the true objects of religion are unseen. The ancient symbols and allegories always had more than one interpretation. The always had a double meaning, and sometimes more than two, one serving as the envelope of the other." - p. 45.
"The cube expressed the sum total of all geometrical dimensions. It is the symbol of Perfection." - p. 102.

"If the Three's, Five's, Seven's, and Nine's of ancient architecture, speaking in each appearance in the Masonic structure with a symbolism that tells of a hidden truth, have become for us mere numbers, it is indeed further evidence of the need for better masonic education." - p. 106.

""Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." - John 3: 5,7." - p. 125.

"Rebuilding the Temple
"Time heals all wounds. The children of Israel, crushed, broken, and chastened by years of captivity in a pagan land, far from the cherished hills of
their own beloved Judea, were destined to see the dawn of a new and happier day." - p. 125-6.

"...to return to Jerusalem to rebuild their city and Temple, where the building of the second Temple was begun under the leadership of Jeshua, Zerubbabel and Haggai. It is the beginning of a new era, a prelude, perhaps, to the dawn of a new dispensation.
"...[the Royal Arch Mason] may look forward with hope and confidence to the dawn of a new dispensation where Truth, the object of his long search, may stand revealed in all its immaculate purity in the recovery of the Word." - p. 126.

".. the construction of a new Temple, which like a phoenix, was to arise from the ashes of the former one." - p. 154.

"The Square and Compasses are recognized as the universal symbols of Freemasonry. The Square is applicable to the earth and the powers of Reason. The Compasses apply to the heavens and the power of Faith..." - p. 160.

"The Celestial Clock
"Time reckonings and Astronomy are inseparable. Things can have no place or being without time. There is a clock whose face is the sky and from which we may read backwards or forwards for thousands on thousands of years, without the possibility of confusion, the same as we read the hours and minutes on a timepiece. This Celestial Clock is the Zodiac, or the pathway of the Sun through the heavens.
"...The position of the Sun is not constant; it with its planets and satellites moves around another and vastly greater center. The word Mazzaroth alludes to the sun's journey around this celestial pathway." - p. 164.

"That is to say, the equinoxes in our ordinary practical year come a little earlier every time than the sidereal time. This precedence in the equinoctial presentations amounts to about fifty seconds each year and is called the precession of the equinoxes." - p. 165.

"At the rate of retardation above mentioned it takes about nine and one-half million of our days, or about 25,868 years, for this rising and setting to come back again to the exact point where we began the calculation, or a little of 2,000 years for the sun to pass through (or pass over) a given sign. That is the origin of the word Passover." - p. 165.

"The four signs - Taurus, Leo, Scorpio (the Eagle), and Aquarius (the Waterman) - were termed the fixed signs and are appropriately assigned to the four veils." - p. 166.

"Purple is a symbol of union..." - p. 166.

"Freemasonry is not a religion, yet it is preeminently religious; in fact we might almost say it is a religion, for, regardless of sects, creeds, and opinions, humanity has never really had but one religion; a belief in a Supreme Being and the immortality of the soul. Most of the great religious systems of the world, from the very earliest of times, embrace the idea of a Trinity; a male or creative product or offspring." - p. 167.

"It also denotes the three great Chemical principles: Salt, which is the earth; Sulfur, which if fire, and Mercury which is spirit, symbolically associated with the Body, Mind, and Spirit of Man." - p. 170.

"Three is the key number, 3 x 3 is 9, the number of books in the Old Testament being 39; 3 x 9 is 27, the number of books in the New Testament, sixty six books in all." - p. 179.

"In the floor of the Master's Lodge is demonstrated the "Squaring of the Circle" and the generation of the Keystone which is also squared by the SIGNET OF PYTHAGORAS, or equal-angled figure of the 47th, Problem of Euclid; the are of both the Circle and Keystone being exactly the same as the area of each Square of the Lodge." - p. 208.

From The Easter Computus and the Origins of the Christian Era by Alden A. Mosshammer:
"Annianus and Panodorus, contemporaries who worked in Alexandria about AD 400, recalculated the year 1 as beginning at creation on 25 March 5492 BC or proleptically on 1 Thoth = August of 5493 BC, in synchronism with the Alexandrian civil year... This 'Alexandrian era' carries with it a Christian era beginning in the year 5501, AD 8/9. The era remains in use in Ethiopia, where the beginning of the year 2000 was observed with great ceremony on 12 September 2007." - p. 28.

"Ancient writers give several names for this cycle of 1460 years. According to Censorinus, in the first year of this 1460-year period the first day of Thoth would coincide with the rising of the Dog Star. Censorinus refers to it as the 'Dog' or 'Great' period. The Dog star (Alpha Canis Majoris) is known as 'Sirius' to the Greeks, 'Sothis' to the Egyptians. Clement of Alexandria...uses the phrase 'Sothic Period', and that is the term most commonly in use among scholars." - p. 36.

"'Easter' is a Germanic word whose root refers literally to the rising of the sun in the eastern horizon. St Bede...informs us that in the old English language the month corresponding to April was called 'Eosturmonath'. He says that the English called the month by that name after goddess named 'Eoster', in whose honour they celebrated festivals in the month." - p. 40.

"In the Alexandrian calculations, the indictional year was synchronized with the year as numbered from Diocletion and with the beginning of the civil year on 1 Thoth = 29 August." - p. 74.

"According to van der Hagen, the first year of the classical Alexandrian cycle as Dionysius knew it began on the first day of Thoth with a lunar epact of 2 in that date. F. K. Ginzel..., representing what is now the consensus among scholars, states that the cycle was calibrated such as to begin with the new moon of 1 Thoth, with epact 1." - p. 77.

"A cycle with a base-date in the first year of Diocletian and epact of 30=0 on 26 Phamenoth produces a calculated new moon with epact 1 on 1 Thoth, the first day of the Alexandrian civil year... ...a lunar new year beginning on 1 Thoth in the first year of Diocletian." - p. 150.

"The year 1 of the world was accordingly the first year of a cycle, and the year 5872 was the first year of the 310th cycle. In this scheme, the first year of Diocletian corresponds to 5777 and AD 284/5. The year 1 therefore began on 1 Thoth of the year corresponding to 5493 BC. According to Petau, Annianus accepted the calculation, but specified that the date of creation was Sunday, 25 March of the year corresponding to 5493 BC." - p. 201.

"Petau attributed the invention of the Alexandrian era to Panadorus... According to Petau, Panodorus counted the year 1 from 1 Thoth=29 August 5493 BC. He chose that year because it corresponded cyclically to the first year of Diocletian and the first year of the classical Alexandrian 19-year cycle." - p. 366.

"What we do not know is whether Panodorus agreed with Annianus in reckoning the years from a date for creation in March, or used the standard Alexandrian reckoning from 1 Thoth=29 August." - p. 372.

"Censorius...says that a 'great year' among the Egyptians was supposed to begin when the rising or the Dog Star (Sirius of Sothis) coincided with the first day of Thoth and that such a coincidence occurred on 21 July during the consulship of Antoninus Pius and Bruttius, AD 139." - p. 376.

"According to Serruys , 5471 was the year of the first bissextile day, inserted at the end of the year 23/2 BC. If the year 5471 corresponded to 32/2 BC, then the year 1 began on 1 Thoth 5493 BC." - p. 377.

"For Panadorus, the year 1 began on 1 Thoth 5493 BC. The year 5525 therefore began on 1 Thoth AD 32, and the data for Easter belong to AD 33 - the date preferred by many modern scholars for the year of the Passion." - p. 381.

"With the year 1 dated from 1 Thoth=29 August 5493 BC, the year 5493 began 1 Thoth 1 BC. Unfortunately, Syncellus does not make it clear whether this was the year of the Nativity according to Panodorus, or of the Incarnation." - p. 382.

"Grumel concludes that Panodorus dated both the Incarnation and the birth to the year 5494 - hence the complaint of a 7-year error. For Grumel, Panorodus' year 5494 bega 19 March AD 1." - p. 383.

"The use of genethlion in Syncellus' criticism of Panodorus strongly suggest that it was the Nativity that Panodorus dated to the cosmic year 5493.
"The year 5493 began 1 Thoth=29 August of the year corresponding to 1 BC. A date for the birth of Jesus on 25 December 1 BC agrees with the date implied by Dionysius Exiguus..." - p. 384.

"...Africanus counted 5500 years for the first man to the Incarnation of the Lord." - p. 387.

"In the place of the natural year of Africanus and Annianus beginning on 25 March, Panodorus used the Alexandrian civil year beginning 1 Thoth = 29 August. His year 1 of Christ, if he had chosen to number years that way, would correspond to 1 BC/AD 1. Similarly, the Christian era of Dionysius Exiguus derives from the same date for the Nativity, with the year 1 now synchronized either with the indictional year beginning on 1 September or with the Roman civil year beginning the following January." - p. 421.

This book was published by Oxford University Press in 2008. At that time, Mosshammer was a professor at the University of California in San Diego.

From Freemasonry and the Ancient Gods (1921) by Freemason J.S.M. Ward:
"...the statue of the slaying of a bull, so familiar to all visitors to the British Museum, and the less well-known figure of Mithra as a lamb or ram with a cross or sword, probably have a reference to the Zodiacal signs of Taurus and Aries - though they also had other meanings - just as Piscis the fish played its part in early Christian symbolism. These three signs each refer back to the astronomical period of the point of the Equinox, which slowly shifts one house in the Zodiac every twenty-one centuries. As, for example, Christ was born at the time when the Sun at the Vernal Equinox was entering Pisces; at the present moment it is entering Aquarius." p. 54.

It may well be that Hitler kept a copy of The Secret Doctrine by his bedside, and he may have even read it, but it couldn't have influenced Hitler's racial beliefs very thoroughly. The reason why I say this is because Hitler believed that the New Man would emerge out of Germany and that this emergence would be owing to his racial purity; however, in sharp contrast to Hitler's views, Blavatsky wrote the following in The Secret Doctrine:
Occult philosophy teaches that even now, under our very eyes, the new Race and Races are preparing to be formed, and that it is in America that the transformation will take place, and has already silently commenced. Pure Anglo-Saxons hardly three hundred years ago, the Americans of the United States have already become a nation apart, and, owing to a strong admixture of various nationalities and inter-marriage, almost a race sui generis, not only mentally, but also physically...Thus the Americans have become in only three centuries a “primary race,” pro tem., before becoming a race apart, and strongly separated from all other now existing races. They are, in short, the germs of the Sixth sub-race, and in some few hundred years more, will become most decidedly the pioneers of that race which must succeed to the present European or fifth sub-race, in all its new characteristics. (Source: http://www.theosociety.org/pasadena/sd/sd2-1-25.htm )
The contrast between what Hitler believed and what Blavatsky wrote could not be much more blatant. Hitler believed in German racial purity while Blavatsky claimed that the amalgamation of nationalities and interbreading that is taking place in America will result in the formation of the next root race.

The rising of a new man is a common occult theme, as is the swastika. They are related and important to the philosophies of both the nazis and Blavatsky.

I am aware of this Blavatsky quote. I’d be more interested in where you get evidence of hitler’s, or the Nazi’s, beliefs.

Hitler would have not gained power in Germany by championing the rise of the new man in another country.

This book isnt by a Freemason. I'm not sure, either, if I believe the main argument, but there were some interesting points.

The Secret Society of Moses (2010) by Flavio Barbiero:
"The ritual of the thirteenth degree, the Royal Arch, takes place in the audience hall of King Solomon, and is centered on the existence of a secret crypt where there are hidden the treasures of the priestly family, including the Arc of the Covenant. The ritual of the following degree (the fourteenth) recalls episodes that took place four centuries later, with the destruction of the Temple by Nebuchadnezzar, the deportation of the priests to Babylon, and the definitive loss of the crypt.
"The ritual of the fifteenth degree takes us about seventy years further in time. Its performance is divided into three distinct phases: It begins in the palace of King Cyrus in Babylon, with the scene of the Persian monarch granting Zerubabbel permission to return to Jerusalem and giving him back the treasures of the Temple sacked by Nebuchadnezzar. This is followed by the scene of the crossing of the Jordan, where the priests coming back from exile are attacked and have to fight strenuously in order to get across. The third scene takes place among the ruins of the Temple in Jerusalem, when the priests decide to rebuild it. The story continues in the ritual of the sixteenth degree, Prince of Jerusalem, which regards the construction of the second Temple.
"The rituals of the seventeenth and eighteenth degrees return to the theme of the loss of the secret of the crypt. The ritual of the nineteenth degree again involves a step forward of more than four hundred years: it is connected with the destruction by the Romans of the Temple in Jerusalem, the one built by Herod the Great. The ritual of the twentieth degree is the one, mentioned in the previous chapter, that narrates the decision of the surviving priests never again to build a material Temple, but instead to construct a Temple that is completely spiritual.
"The rituals of the twenty-first and twenty-second degrees develop themes taken from the book of Genesis: the tower of Babel and Noah and the construction of the Ark. Those that number from twenty-three to twenty-five, on the contrary, reenact three important episodes from the life of Moses. They are all clearly taken from the Pentateuch. After the Mosaic interlude, the twenty-sixth degree again takes up the story of the priestly family, moving to the times of Domitian: the story takes place in an underground room and shows how the priestly family succeeds in surviving during the persecution unleashed by the emperor. In this ritual, the participants are Christians and are responsible for the destiny of the church of Rome." - p. 142-3.

"The Grand Orient of Italy's logo."

"More than the six-pointed star, however, during the priestly rule of Jerusalem, the most common symbol was that of a flower: the lily. Its name in Hebrew is shosham, which derives from the number six (shesh). It represents the six-pointed star." - p. 360.

I dont know how much is true. I think it will be important now to try to find out more about the rituals of the degrees. Not sure where to find these, but I will start looking.

The Grand Orient of Italy is a masonic lodge started in 1805, and its logo looks a lot like the pyramid and capstone of Great Seal of the US.

That's why the police can come right to your door when something happens and you're standing there scratching your head wondering how they knew about it. It's because once all the data is collected by the Masons it's passed on to the police sergeant of the local area who stores it all in little files.

Could you guys expand a bit more on the eastern star? Ive had an encounter with them and im still not totally understanding the full extend of it. It left me feeling dirty though..

From The Gate of Heaven by Margaret Barker:
"Great angelic figures were stars: e.g. Num. 24.17, the messianic ruler rises as a star, Isa. 14.12 the king of Babylon is the Day Star, Matt. 2.2 the new star means a new king of the Jews.) - p. 92.

Numbers 24:17 (NIV)
17 “I see him, but not now;
I behold him, but not near.
A star will come out of Jacob;
a scepter will rise out of Israel.
He will crush the foreheads of Moab,
the skulls of all the people of Sheth.

Isaiah 14:12 (NIV)
12 How you have fallen from heaven,
morning star, son of the dawn
!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!

Matthew 2:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

From The Mason's Words by Robert G Davis, 33° G. C.:
"Finally, and perhaps the most significant of the Baltimore Convention, was that it urged all American Grand Lodges to eliminate a reference to the Blazing Star in the Entered Apprentice lecture as commemorative of the Star of Bethlehem. The delegates were perceptive enough to understand that Freemasonry's non-sectarianism was one of its greatest assets." - p. 264.
