If protection of the planet and mankind is at its core, or the protection of countries/corporations interests.
AI would be set upon joe public initially but would rise up against the war mongerers and elite once it learned how the world is run. Kind of like an angry child realising Father Christmas is a carrot.

But those in power would probably build something into the program so that they cant be harmed, a bit like Robocop!

Interspersed with that rapid-fire loop of messages was a tweet from the bot apparently boasting about drug use: "kush! [ i'm smoking kush infront the police ]."

CIA-Backed Artificial Intelligence Firm To Spy on Wall Street Traders

Swiss multinational bank, Credit Suisse, will collaborate with data analysis firm, Palantir, to launch a trader surveillance program. According to Bloomberg’s Jeffrey Voegeli, the joint venture, called Signac, aims to catch rogue Wall Streeters engaged in illegal trading. It comes in the wake of a number of trading scandals in recent years that have cost banks billions of dollars.

Palantir was co-founded by Peter Thiel and seed-funded by the CIA. The company was funded in part by In-Q-Tel Inc., the venture capital investment arm of the CIA that has a long, symbiotic history with startups, the NSA, the FBI, and DARPA. In fact, In-Q-Tel specifically funds tech start-ups “to advance ‘priority’ technologies of value” in the intelligence community. The group has ties to Donald Rumsfeld’s Total Information Awareness initiative and is believed by some to have worked closely with Google in its earliest years.

if you think there is nothing to be concerned about by all the robotics of daarpa and google then there's little point me trying to reason with you. Daarpa and google both have ties to the pentagon so nothing is discontinued...it's all still ticking over in the background

This time, NBC is pushing that Orwellian envelope to an extreme level as it advocates for human microchipping of children “sooner rather than later”. In a recently televised report from NBC News, they liken having your child microchipped by the state at birth to something as societally normalized as bar codes for consumer goods.

“When barcodes first came out in the late 1960s, people were appalled. They were wary of them and did not understand the concept. Today, it is so commonplace, we don’t even notice it. A microchip would work much in the same way” – NBC

This statement reveals the mentality that these types of people have, thinking of us not as human beings, but as cattle needing to be tagged by their our owners.
