Thumbs down

I used to love lipton iced tea,FOR 30+ YEARS I DRANK IT...

All of a sudden they changed the recipe adding an ingredient: "MALTODEXTRIN" and it tastes like fucking crap!! (Too sweet)

AND THEY HAVE THE FUCKING NERVE TO PUT "SAME GREAT TASTE" ON THE CONTAINER!!

Whenever a company changes thier design on a can,IT ALMOST ALWAYS IS NOT THE SAME TASTE!! (Thru my experiences)

I looked into it tonight.. THE ORIGINAL WAS MADE IN CANADA AND DISTRIBUTED LOCALLY HERE IN THE STATES.. THIS NEW GARBAGE IS NOT......

FUCKIN' PRICKS PROBABLY GOT TOO CHEAP TO KEEP IMPORTING IT FROM CANADA!!! (I wonder if the original can still be gotton in canada)

Why do companies fuck with success AND LIE ABOUT IT??

Ill tell you why, cause there are ALOT OF PEOPLE THEY CAN WALK ALL OVER SPEWING THESE LIES W/NO QUESTIONS!! (These are the people that ultimatly allow these pricks to keep doing this! (Mars, hersheys, etc))

I've stopped drinking black tea altogether, and now I am down to one cup of green tea a day. Research shows that tea has high concentrations of fluoride in it. What else can they take from us?!?!

I've started to drink white tea, which is picked very early on in the growing season, so the fluoride content is minimal. This has been a struggle for me, because I know that tea in general is just so good for managing daily environmental stress, helping to prevent cancers etc.

Organic white tea is where it's at for me.

Tea has fluoride? I can't seem to get away from that stuff.

I'm a tea drinker also, raised on Lipton, but lately drinking Tetley because it has been cheaper than even the generic brands at my local store.

The fluoride in tea is a natural mineral, not like the chemical bi-product shite (industrial waste) they put in the water supply.

They are two totally different things....ask the Chinese

I can answer that since it is happening with many products.

You know about the ADDICTIVE QUALITIES OF MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE (MSG)DON'T YOU?
Manufacturers hide it in food so that people eat more of it.

The secret is that MSG is SIDE PRODUCT OF MANUFACTURING MANY ADDITIVES LIKE MALTODEXTRIN..
http://www.truthinlabeling.org/hiddensources.html

MSG has extremely addictive qualities, here in the states virtually all packaged food contains it... ican always tell when i have had it because i fight food cravings for days afterwards..

phew ...for a minute I thought the OP meant Bruce Lipton because he's great!

...unfortunately most products have been corrupted with additives now and it's getting harder to find pure and wholesome products.

Thanks for the clarification...I can't find any information about this- is there a site you could direct me to?

My significant other and I are trying to cut fluoride out entirely...

and Malodextrin in Lipton!?! WTF? Why is that necessary?

There are probably sites with information about this, but I read up on this stuff when I was studying clinical nutrition.

Its a bit like xeno-estrogens as opposed to natural estrogen hormone our bodies make. They are two different molecules. The bad one (the fake estrogen....or as they call it, the "hormone mimic" ) can easily enter our receptors and misplace our natural estrogen, and this is what makes them so dangerous, as they don't have the same actions as their natural cousin.

So if you drink tea with natural fluoride in it, it is liikely to do more good than harm if you are doing your best to detox from the chemical nasty that goes by the same name. You would want a natural mineral molecule in there rather than a bastardized replacement for the real thing.....a chemical mimic that has the potential to do real harm.

Your body knows what to do with the real molecules.....you have the receptors for them, but when your body is tricked and overwhelmed with the 'fake' molecules it treats them like toxins and attempts to get rid of them. Once these invaders have filled all the available receptor sites to 'do their worst' your body will attempt to get rid of them and dump out the excess, but if it is unable to do so, it will do the next best thing....store these rogues out of the way...if it can.....and this can overwhelm the liver, which then just releases these nasties back into the bloodstream again where they often end up being stored in body fat stores, or in other organs. This happens when your body has no other way of dealing with the shite.

Essentially these fake molecules are foreign to your body, and if it cannot get rid of an over-load of them, this is when we are in real trouble, and this is why our pineal gland can become damaged from the fake fluoride in our drinking water.....the actions of fake fluoride are not the same actions as the real fluoride we ingest in food, and the body is being so inundated with these rogue molecules it cannot get them out. It becomes a double whammy....bad action in our receptor sites, then due to a build up in our system in general, bad actions that result from our body's struggle to deal with them.

I hope all this makes sense.

if you want to drink REAL tea....or REAL coffee
than i suggest you go with "imported brands"
may cost you a cent more but it's all worth it
as they are richer in flavor/taste and nutrients..

This doesnt surprise me AT ALL!!!

But they dont seem to realise IT TASTES LIKE CRAP SO HOW DO THEY EXPECT PEOPLE TO GET H00KED ON IT??

A couple months ago i drank 1 whole container of this new crap (Didnt like it too much though) ... AFTER WHICH I WANTED THE OLDER STUFF BACK STRIAGHT AWAY!!

EDIT:

I went to a conveinent store and found some original mix. (Without the MSG additive)

I bought 3 cans for 16.00 (It was well worth it)
