The seas are choppy; the perils are numerous.
The mist clings low over the water mass.

The calmer times when the fish were plenty and nets bulged no thought was given to the night that lay ahead.

The sun went down and the seas roared; the fleets were scattered along the shore where cliffs abound.

Then the light flashed - a beacon of hope: a safety call out of the dark gloomy night.

The fleets followed the light grateful and assured that the harbour waited.

Lighthouse to our souls guide us home!

I am new to the forum and stumbled upon this verse. Great job it just about sums up where I am in my spiritual journey beautiful grace and style to the poem. I enjoyed the read!
