Default Volcano Watch

And the volcano hasn't properly erupted yet.

When it does, the UK will be fucked, under water due to all the ice sheets that will instantly melt.

Default A direct quote at the bottom of the Mail article

"A bigger worry is Katla, which in the past has erupted in tandem with Eyjafjallajokull.
Katla is located under the vast Myrdalsjokull ice cap. An eruption could cause widespread flooding and disrupt air traffic between Europe and North America.
The last major eruption took place in 1918, and volcanologists say a new blast is overdue.
'So far there have been no signs of the reawakening of the Katla volcano, but a lot of things can still happen, so we are monitoring it quite closely,' Einarsson said."

An open warning from an MSM paper?

I like how the glaciers name is Eyjafjallajokull.

Best wishes to you all in the UK.

This just shows how we are at the mercy of Mother nature not the other way around as most fucked up environuts would have us believe.

Mr Brown I propose a volcano tax to stop this blatant pollution. You watch they'll probably fuckin do it too!

If this lasts throughout the Summer we'll not - ironically - have a Summer.

While I believe mother nature is having changes, this sounds like another daily dose of fear drenched propaganda!

Sounds like an overreaction to cause more travel chaos, towards the end of the Easter Holidays. At least there should be no chemtrails today, with no air traffic. Sky in London, murky grey clouds, sun trying to peek through.

There was a massive eruption in Washington State USA 1980.

Mount Saint Helens.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1980_er...unt_St._Helens

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...e_07-22-80.jpg

They mention airport closures in the days and weeks after the eruption. This was the eruption that was used by some to justify the idea of spraying the upper atmosphere with sulphur particles to combat global warming. In the aftermath of the eruption global temperatures supposedly cooled by 0.1%.

according to BBC main article ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8621407.stm ) the reason for stopping flights is volcanic ash cloud contains fragments of glass and metals, which can get sucked into air engines etc and cause havoc... the main body of ash cloud is at flight level, between 30-50K feet.

they also got a video explaining:

"Page last updated at 06:05 GMT, Thursday, 15 April 2010 07:05 UK

Volcanic ash 'a very serious risk' to aircraft

Flights in and out the UK are facing "significant disruption" because of volcanic ash drifting in from Iceland.

Gatwick, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports have already grounded planes, and there are warnings the debris could have a "considerable impact" as it moves further south.

Amanda McMillan, the Managing Director of Glasgow Airport, said the ash presented a ''very serious risk'' to aircraft. "

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8621460.stm

at ground level, this morning looks slightly odd.. bright blue sky it should be, with sun up fully and no cloud, however, there is a grey haze over everything, more noticeable near horizon and if look towards sun... this isn;t cloud, is like a hazey misty fog almost.

Default The story of BA flight 009

With unbelievable restraint, Captain Eric Moody addressed British Airways flight 009 as his Boeing 747 drifted inexorably down towards the Indian Ocean.
Displaying the stiff-upper-lip spirit that built an empire, he uttered the words that are every air passenger's worst nightmare: 'Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get it under control. I trust you are not in too much distress.'

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...r-dreads-.html

The volcanic cloud did not show up on the radar because it was composed of very dry material, unlike weather systems which are detected by their water particles.

Does anyone know if this cloud is toxic if you breath it in? They are not saying anything about this

Smile Yes!

No flights into or out of the UK from midday, cool. Does this mean no chemtrails ... Oh no, I forgot, the volcanic ash ...
