Default The Divine Universe

The Divine Universe

The eyes cannot see God, nor can the ears hear Truth. But God and Truth exist, like pillars of the divine Universe. Though all existence comes from God, nothing that is visible can reach God. Thus we turn away from the visible to the invisible, for all that can be seen in this fallen Universe is only the transitory, the temporary, and the illusory.

We turn to God, who is invisible, and to God's Grace for us. We seek out Reality — a divine Universe that cannot be seen with human eyes. We seek out Truth that has never been written in any book, nor spoken by any human being, nor thought by any human mind. We seek to identify with the group Life, an invisible Field of energy and activity. We seek to follow Spirit, the "Voice of the Silence," Who invisibly guides us from within.

We are thus on a quest to proceed from that which the body can see, touch, taste, smell and hear — the sensory world that we are so familiar with — to an invisible Reality that cannot be sensed by the body, felt by the emotions, or understood by the mind. We are proceeding from the known to the unknown, self to no self, from mind to no mind, and from ego to God.

God, therefore, remains unknown to the vast majority of humanity. They can approach God only through the instrumentality of the visible: through books, through teachers, through sacred buildings, and through religious symbols. Then the visible objects and the visible people become a substitute for God and for Truth — the invisible God is sacrificed in order to — so it may seem — have easy access to divinity. But once the invisible God is sacrificed to the visible one, then the visible god becomes a tyrant over the human heart and mind, demanding obedience and conformity. The visible god is only a shell, a sham, a fake image of the Reality that traps us in the world of form and sensory experience.

No book can contain divine Wisdom. No teacher can proclaim it. No human mind can encompass it, for when we experience Truth in our lives, the divine Reality opens up before our consciousness. Then there is no ego to perceive the Truth, for no ego can grasp it. Then there is no mind to know Reality, for the human mind has been transcended. Then there is no self to see God, for no self can exist in God's Presence. In that divine Reality, we lose our sense of self, our sense of separateness, and our individual, separated, mental thinking processes. Only unity, oneness, and connectedness remains.

We learn, therefore, to work with the invisible in our lives, and most especially with the Spirit in our hearts. Spirit guides us with invisible force. Our lives work out, somehow, just right, and some call it "circumstance" or "luck" but it is really divine energies in action. There are invisible Powers at work. In this we can see the effect of the invisible on our lives. Through Spirit, inspiration comes to speak words we did not know we could say. Through Spirit, we act in ways that we would never expect, towards objectives that we cannot see, and thus serve the Divine Plan.

We then come to know that we can trust the invisible more than the visible, and learn to allow Spirit and God to act in our lives. And as they act, we become less and less attached to this visible world and become more and more attached to the invisible Realm. We become, therefore, less and less attached to the perishable and the impermanent self and the cycle of reincarnation that the self is subject to, and become more and more connected up with the Kingdom of God - the World of Light and Power, the divine Universe of Truth and Life. As we become more connected up, we partake of the qualities of that divine Universe and no longer cling to the illusory self, the illusory mind, and the illusory existence that they encompass. Life in the world of form becomes like a dream, a nightmare that we know we are living through, and we know that we will soon wake up to a new realm of existence that is governed by Love and divine Justice, and not this sensory world of confusion and pain.

Few people today look to the invisible for God, Truth, and Life. If God remains an unknown, if Spirit is not heard in the heart, if the divine Will remains a mystery, and if the group Life does not reveal its presence, then we will seem to have to fall back upon the visible and the seen, however unsatisfactory these may be. But we can learn to sense the invisible. We can learn to sense Spirit. What this takes is renunciation.

If our minds are filled with thoughts, then there is no room for Spirit to add a suggestion. If our lives are focussed on self, then there is no room for the impersonal life. If we work for self, then self will be strengthened. This all needs to be turned around, renounced, and given up. If we stop seeking to fill our minds with thoughts, if we come to the realization that only Truth will satisfy us, then in the Silence the Voice of Spirit will speak. If we stop trying to accomplish things as a self, if we come to the realization that the self can do nothing whatsoever to reach God and Reality, then God's Grace can take ahold of our lives and enliven and inspire us. When our cup is full, God cannot fill it with Truth. But when our cup is empty, then Spirit can speak and God can work in our lives. Then we will become convinced of the existence of the invisible, for it will gradually become more and more evident to us.

When we follow self and ego, our bodies become responsive to the universe of self and ego that exists around us. They vibrate at the same rate. When we seek to follow God, and surrender seeking for self, then we begin to vibrate at a different rate, at a different speed. We begin to vibrate at the frequency of the divine Universe and not the fallen, illusory, and sensory Universe. When we follow Spirit, we are lifting the vibration of our whole nature towards the divine. Then we will have moments of inspiration, moments of awakening, and moments where we can see for ourselves with the inner sight that the invisible World is no fiction of our imagination, but the Reality that we have been seeking all our lives. We will be "born again" with new senses, new eyes, new ears, and new hearts that can see, hear and feel within the Kingdom of God. Then our attachment to this outer world will fall away and we will no longer seek the truths of this world, but only Truth. We will no longer seek the imitation gods of this world, but only God. We will no longer wonder — we will KNOW.

Only the invisible God is Real.
Only the unspeakable Truth is valid.
Only the unseen Universe is eternal.
When our heart's rest in the invisible, the unspoken, and the unseen, then we will find our way Home.

What is a saiyan?

Just another image and an identification!
This is just avoidance of facing the truth within, no matter if it is caked in your personal idealism of nobility, fighting for righteousness or whatever.
