So how do you listen to mp3 or CD? What if we want to watch a movie with headphones on?

you ask all the corps who removes them, supposedly we don't need them and they are "out of date tech" highly laughable and stupid.

even local storage is getting smaller, you can pay up to 1k+ for a laptop with a 128gb hard drive, it's insane, it will cost you much more if you want a laptop with a disc drive now.

Cloud makes it easier to stitch people up too.

Go against authority? Watch as hundreds of illegal images are 'found' in your cloud storage.

I may be exaggerating, but it seems to me that windows 10 is so wide open that even a novice hacker can probably walk in through the proverbial front door.

Win10 in a Nutshell...

Your smart phones are the same use. They updates tracking conversation as an app built in within even when its on airplane mode.

If you know how to use windows for more than web surfing and itunes, it's actually very easy to stop those talkback services just by adding their address to your hosts file.
Or, if you don't know much about the system, then just download anti spybot beacon and it will do all the hard work for you.
Even better, you can do what I do, install the awesome ROSA linux and stick your finger up at microshaft once and for all.

This looks very helpful. I do not trust the updates though, it's not like you can down load them and open them up and read them. I wonder what is hidden in Internet Explorer? There are many alternatives to Windows. There is a dual boot Ubunto tutorial on youtube. Novell puts out a good system. Where are we on the Russian operating system they were going to come out with? I do not like systems that do not have DOS in a functioning form.

So I have found yet another hilarious win 10 vuln, it allows me to run any script as system (not administer). The surface area is large here, the first test was to create a hidden user who is allowed to connect via remote desktop from any ip.

Account can also access and modify HKLM:\SECURITY and HKLM:\SAM

pwn rating: 10000/10

Block these links in your hosts file or windows firewall. Even better if you block these links in your antivirus firewall or router firewall.

Everything spies on you! I sat on the screen and broke it on my old phone and although it still worked I got another phone! I woke to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night the other night and bumped the night stand which moved my phone on the night stand and it lit up the time and below the time my new phone had the following statement!!! " Subject sleeping"

Looking into it further they call it "Moto assist" a "Motorola AI assistant built right into the damn thing!!! So I have a butler, a spy, a dictionary, a search engine, a camera, a video, a microphone, a map system that conveniently tells me and everyone on Facebook too where I am on the planet unless I tell it not to do so and even then one has to wonder? Does it really stop working just because you can't see it working anymore or is someone else still able to use it to always know exactly where you are on the planet, scratch that, prison!? These facts are why I laugh out loud every time someone mentions the need to chip humans! We chipped ourselves with these handheld devices!

ooberman, I dialed back to 7 because I could not find the drivers for xp for a dell 3847. If you got 3000 series drivers I will keep looking. They wiped out your video by the way.

Microsoft’s new Windows 10 operating system is immensely popular, with 14 million downloads in just two days. The price of the free upgrade may just be your privacy, though, as changing Windows 10’s intrusive default settings is difficult.

Technology journalists and bloggers are singing Windows 10’s praises, often using the words such as “amazing,”“glorious” and “fantastic.” The operating system has been described as faster, smoother and more user-friendly than any previous version of Windows. According to Wired magazine, more than 14 million people have downloaded their upgrade since the system was released on Wednesday.

While the upgrade is currently free of charge to owners of licensed copies of Windows 8 and Windows 7, it does come at a price. Several tech bloggers have warned that the privacy settings in the operating system are invasive by default, and that changing them involves over a dozen different screens and an external website.

According to Barnacules, apparently M$ is going to hard code telemetry into key services like explorer.exe and critical system services in order to prevent anti-spy tools from properly working, if you try to disable hard coded telemetry, system crashes.

This is how you defeat windows 10 spying, install Linux Mint and put windows 10 in virtual machine with no internet connection to windows in vm. All your windows software you need for work, will work in virtual machine.

If you game, install Steam and Lutris and PlayOnLinux.
If there are games that doesn't work in wine or not available on Linux, dual boot is the best option unless your PC supports GPU passthrough.
Keep all you personal stuff in /home partition on Linux, use Linux for browsing, downloading, torrent, watching videos and playing music, etc. M$ can't snoop on you if you use Linux for everything.

I got a what if for you. They have a spell checker. Imagine if you will to flag a subject they just remove a word from the spell checker through updates. The spell checker then sends the topic to them. How many times have you spelled something right and pulled the word up to check the spelling? The update does not have to be yours.

Just an example: the update can be sent to a hub and the person you connect to can be the one updated. This comes as no fault of their own as they cannot be held for not being tech savvy. The fault belongs to tech giants, anti-virus programs that will not remove infected parts of files from Microsoft and the government, the government and operating system programmers.

Not even touching the keylogger story here.

Cloud storage, don't worry they can see your drives. How else can they pull off the strong arm robbery and get you to pay over again for a program you already purchased? Look at all the updated spyware you get to pay for. If you really want to crap on them buy an older style computer. They are available. Look at the Utah spy-hub, when it went online they had to get those new contact numbers into computers. What do you know, spy-hub needs a hyphen now.

Most of you shy away from government contact anyway. I don't blame you, nothing good comes from it. It would be nice if adblock plus blocked all outgoing transmissions that have not gotten a double click from the browser. That includes handshakes. Handshaking once on contact should be enough. If you request a new page, file, or, anything else double click for the new handshake. Your computer does not need to refresh the connection every so many milliseconds. If you need to check this statement then just bring up a page with your browser and (if you have wired service) reach over and unplug your modem. That page will set there indefinitely until you close the browser or shut down.
