Hey Disco,
Just wanted to give you a pep and a total round of applause for this thread and this effort, ![]() Lots and lots of posters doing great work bringing data, we need a small army for collating the data. This kind of approach is ideal for seeing another perspective, which is what I am finding as I put the database together. I will try to show you when I do the next video update what I mean and why your timeline is so important. If you check back the history of the megathread you will see one of my own common themes is my constant repetition of TIME/PLACE. A photo, a report, if a TIME/PLACE can be established we should be able to see paths crossing. That is exactly what is happening on the megathread, but it is slow going and is the research equivalent of Cinderella sorting out grains of rice from grains of corn. Don't take this the wrong way Disco, but you are a pigeon, aiding Cinderella by picking up the grains of corn out of the rice. I am also a pigeon. The megathread is the hearth. The posters are the Ugly Sisters because they are dumping unsorted data into a mix, i.e. throwing rice and corn together willy nilly onto the hearth! Actually that makes you and I also Ugly Sisters as well as pigeons. Well, I'm an Ugly Brother maybe. Look it's late, I've been moving rocks around in the blazing sun and I think I may be slightly dehydrated and possible a bit sun dizzy! Please dont feel overwhelmed, there is a fantastic support developing around the megathread posters, and I'm sure we'll see past names reappear, and new ones, and the relay will continue. I have a copy of your timeline, and the one starzina did, and I hope to show you soon how it fits into what I am doing and how your effort has saved me an enormous duty of having to compile my own timeline so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! ![]() No pressure! ![]() Last edited by white horse; 20-06-2013 at 02:22 AM. |

O wow had a blinding flash of inspiration!
All these data files centred around Vile... We should go to PID and get their best posters to do a mind-map of McCartney... Get a MindMap done of the Stepford Wives thread... Blair and the D Notes deserves an entire core of itself... get someone to do that... join the fuckers together... Kissinger.. 911... Once we've got some polished presentable products on Vile to float out for people to see, we should start lobbying elsewhere on DIF and inspiting others to create core brain maps to join at specific nodal points... !! ![]() Did you know that they reckon that there is a system of ants nests that run all along the North Med coast of Spain and that they are all connected into one gigantic mega-colony... Are you ready for the DIF mega-brain? ![]() Last edited by white horse; 20-06-2013 at 06:02 PM. |

"Sponsored Walk for the
JIMMY SAVILE MARATHON FUND - (January 1970) “I remember raising funds for some charity and Jimmy Savile came to the school to receive the money. He jumped onto the stage in striped trousers which looked like pyjamas and gave Miss Longworth a smacking big kiss on the lips. She was not amused, even more than normal not amused. We all cheered and had a great morning.” Leigh Anderson ’65-’70" The sponsorship money was raised by a girls' school in Leeds for a Kidney Unit at LGI. Horrible pic! http://www.lawnswoodhighschool.com/lhs/Savile.html

"Jimmy Savile committed one offence at an Exeter Hopsital, a report released today has revealed.
The joint Metropolitan Police and NSPCC report dealing with over 50 years of allegations states that one offence has reported to have taken place in the Exeter Hospital (part of Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital NHS Foundation Trust) in 1970." 1970: Savile visits Romford library
"At the time, Savile was one of the nation’s top DJs and TV presenters but the star’s good reputation has since been destroyed by child-abuse claims. In 1970 he was invited to Romford by Havering Council for an event to promote electoral participation by young people. The Welcome to Citizenship event at Romford Library, Main Road, was part of the council’s strategy to get 18 to 21-year-olds to the ballot box for the first time after the voting age had been lowered. Brian has mentioned the event in two of his history books: Remembering Romford and A Century of Romford, from where these pictures are taken. He added: “At the time I was uneasy about him, but I thought it was just because he was not my sort of thing. People who were a bit close to him knew, but obviously people in local government wouldn’t have done. “Young people are traditionally not interested in politics, so they used the attraction of celebrity. I think some of the girls thought that by coming along they might get a chance to get into show business.”.." http://www.romfordrecorder.co.uk/new...vile_1_1715914

"Over an extended period Sir Jimmy completed the Commando Training Course at Lympstone, Devon. In 1966 Sir Jimmy and his brother Vince, then a serving officer with the Royal Navy, completed the gruelling 30 mile march over Dartmoor which has to be done in 8 hours. Jimmy and Vince both finished the march and Jimmy was awarded the coveted green beret.
Over the years Sir Jimmy maintained his connection with the Corps often attending parades and ceremonies." http://www.royalmarinesmuseum.co.uk/...-s-green-beret

Nothing for the 1980s, or after 1990 - seems a little strange:
"•In June 1970 Savile was in Dereham where he opened a boutique, Decimal Fashions, in Norwich Street, spending over an hour in the shop signing autographs. •In October 1972 he roved around Norwich in a Rolls Royce as part of a visit promoting National Association of Youth Clubs’ week, visiting various youth clubs in the city, including Heartsease Community Centre, and spreading the message about providing facilities for young people. •In November 1979 Savile jogged into Norwich as part of a charity effort which saw him run through 31 towns and cities in 31 days. •In February 1990 the BBC stalwart was back in the city, at Anglia TV’s studios, to promote the 27-hour live Telethon spectacular which was hoping to top the £1m raised in 1988. •In October of 1990 he opened a new complex in Norwich which gives disabled people a helping hand in starting a business." http://www.norwichadvertiser24.co.uk...folk_1_1660502

1960 and 1964 US visits
JS visited the US IN 1960 to present a gold disc to Elvis Presley: Jimmy Savile presents Elvis with his UK gold record for "It's Now Or Never" on the set of "Wild In The Country" in November 1960 Jimmy Savile with Elvis on the set of "Roustabout" in March 1964 http://www.elvis-collectors.com/foru...hp?f=2&t=65208 1961 started at LGI Savile used his fame for decades to cover up his activities at three hospitals – Leeds General Infirmary, Stoke Mandeville and Broadmoor. Until now it has been unclear how he came to be given rooms and keys without questions being asked. The Telegraph can disclose that Savile was first invited into the Leeds hospital by its chief porter, who went on to become a paid employee of the disc jockey while still working at the hospital. And his involvement at Broadmoor was rubber-stamped in 1974 by Dr David Owen, now Lord Owen, who was health minister, government papers in the National Archives disclose. Savile had accommodation at all three hospitals and came to be in charge of Broadmoor for a period in the 1980s when he was put in charge of a task force to run the secure hospital. Ministers have ordered inquiries into how the NHS came to allow him such access, but key details have now been uncovered that cast new light on his activities. He was first involved in Leeds General Infirmary in 1961 when he was asked by its chief porter, Charles Hullighan, to help its new hospital radio station, and promptly volunteered as a porter. http://not4attribution.blogspot.co.u...ef-porter.html 1961 JS started wearing his trademark clothes “Ali G wears tracksuits and bulky jewellery like I started doing on the telly in 1961. He must go to the charity shops I give my old tracksuits to.” http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1886266.stm
