Sympathy is for the living

However, would David Icke be the man he is today without the infamous Wogan interview?

This is true! Being laughed at like that made David stop caring what people think . Thrown into the deep end.

Another talentless no-mark who rose to giddy heights of overpaid fame via the beeb. Knowing all about Savile and presenting CIN for a fee says greedy b'stard without a conscience. Instant maudling tributes for the 'national treasure' says protected b'stard with dubious friends. Always cancer and always brave. My violin is so small you won't hear it on this occasion.

http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-26957941

'His most pithy exchange was probably that with the former TV presenter, David Icke, who had claimed to be the "son of the godhead".

When the audience started giggling Wogan gently said: "They are not laughing with you, they are laughing at you."

Icke later claimed the appearance on the show had turned him into a figure of fun.'

BBC having a go, without mentioning this!

Later Tel

Gone are the days of when music charts actually had talent (eg; early TOTP years) and the diversity from all kinds of genres.

These days we just get whoever is the latest character "deserving" of some sympathy.

I could become a mystic psychic giving fortune tellings of who will be in the charts next week -- i'd only have to look at which pop artist / tv presenter had recently died or had an accident.
