When are the "Forum Man" know-it-alls going to admit they are wrong?

TPP was criticized from all quarters. Will there now be some grudging appreciation for the new President?

I doubt it. Probably just more abuse being thrown by those who think they've got it all figured out. Anyone who dares suggest that he is not working in the interests of the Deep-State gets aggressively shouted down on this forum and labelled a "*********", presumably because these people can't present or acknowledge the facts and instead have to resort to bully tactics.

The Deep-State is spending huge sums of money right now (organising worldwide protests, coordinated MSM character assassination...) to turn the US / NATO population against Trump, who isn't playing ball the way they would like. But of course it's all just to trick a few conspiracy theorists into thinking he's a good-guy.. right. Their actions are typical momentum building towards a coup.

We will stay to see.
First of all, it needs to understand what is going to replace the TPP. What are the reasons for this cancellation? What is in preparation?
However, these commercial deals were just in agony because they were not loved by many.

Remember this rule: change all for nothing changes.

Well you see, I'd have to agree that canceling TPP is a good thing, as I understand TPP to give exclusive access to Corporations to over rule a country's government, even if that government was supported by the citizenry. So

You don't need anything to replace it, people and contries make deals with whom they like, like it was before the EU - the EU trade shit is just a way of of getting in between people and countries that want to make deals and imposing rules and taxing them, which makes everything more expensive for everyone and pushes jobs to places with cheaper labor etc.

People need to understand you don't organisations like the EU to make trade deals - this is all fantasy put in our brains by the ruling elite.

It would have actually effected the whole world negatively.

we will see. but i think its just more of the same. power changes hands, sometimes bringing radical change...but its never about or for us. we are bystanders that pick up crumbs or sometimes get swept away. its about those who hold power....whoever they are. its about what they can gain. yep tpp is bad for us. its also apparently bad for trump and company. maybe some of us benefit. maybe some of us dont. and rest assured our benefit or loss is of no ones concern but ours. and we have no real say in the matter. for those who think we do, remind me when someone asked me for my input on tpp. and dont give me any political theory crap about the body politic and democracy and representation. its bullshit.

Perhaps, but regardless of motives Trump upheld his promise to withdrawal from the TPP on his first day in office. And it's a big move to make. It is possible for a leader to recognise the benefits in making decisions which also support the people who elected them. However those who do so are usually removed by force. It's also a real possibility that Trump no longer wants to do business with those who've attacked him and continue to do so.

Withdrawing from TPP is a fascist policy which fails to acknowledge the universal class struggle. or something like that.

Meh

Is this the latest Guardian headline? I am interested to see how the neoliberal media will spin this as a bad move.

Doing something you said you would do is not a U turn, it is making good on your word, something very rare in politics. Keep your eyes and ears open and he will do everything else he said he would do too.

I wouldn't say a U-turn is strictly necessary given it's his first day in office. But yes better to hold off drawing conclusions.
