So, will all the scaremongering knob-jockeys who touted the Elenin nonsense now apologise?

This is just another in a long line of failed "Doom Porn" predictions so popular with many posters here.

Maybe some people will start to think rationally some day.

somewhere amongst all the youtube and posts was the date 25th Sept 2011 as the end of the world! I put it on my calendar to remind me to point out on the 26th that the UK had not gone 200 feet under the sea.

I suspect the 22nd of December 2012 will just about be the same, sun rising in the morning, birds chirping, milkmen happily floating in their vehicles delivering milk and the usual rush hour traffic. How long would these doomsday fear merchants continue to scream 'the sky is falling, the sky is falling' before their voices and silly predictions are superceded by natures most powerful debunker; time.

I must admit I used to be mildly fascinated by these end of world predictions, but now they're becoming annoying.

Well I for one am relieved! I can put a stop to that hedonistic end-of-days chocolate orgy that's been going on here over the last few days. Pity I'm gonna have to hand back the keys to the Lamborghini too though. Oh well, roll on 31 December 2012.
