Vote Green or UKIP and if you're against Westminster blowing 15 billion pounds of Scottish taxpayers money on the English railway system vote SNP.

Seriously though who will be commuting to and from Manchester on a daily basis?

How much would such a season ticket cost?

If it's just corporate businessmen (and BBC managers) not paying for their own tickets then they should fly.

Obviously more cities like Birmingham Manchester Sheffield Leeds Newcastle Edinburgh Glasgow will benefit from high speed connection to the wider network of Europe

What will happen is other major towns not on the HS2 route will lose some connectivity to London and foreign property speculators will move in and crush the hopes of many hoping to buy their own homes in Manchester and Birmingham. etc.

the plan of the cabal through UN Agenda 2030 is to drive people off the land and into overcrowded urban zones called 'smart cities' which will be connected by high speed railways

no doubt high speed railways we accelerate the destruction of regional culture and brain drain people to the urban zones
