Default DUP-Tory relations Ireland troubles?

What's the worst that could happen?

It's politics use of religion to control divde and rule and now they're deciding to stir the hornets nest...

"The Loyal Orange Institution, more commonly known as the Orange Order, is an international Protestant fraternal organisation based primarily in Northern Ireland, with a significant presence in the Scottish Lowlands and lodges throughout the Commonwealth, as well as in the United States and Togo."

I wonder if May will be impartial?

Maybe not...

This turn in politics DUP and Tory coalition could cause trouble in Northern Ireland at the cost of implementing a Tory government.

"The General Election of May 2017 has produced a result enabling potential consequences expanding an already eager ruling party intent on befriending funding and promoting the very worst terrorist ideologues and terror states in the world today. All done with such unconscionable ease of self serving goals and little desire for global stability and peace. With no mandate from the people the present Tory party snuggles up to one of the most right wing, homophobic and terror driven parties standing alone as some sort of partner for illegitimate collusion.

From December 1969 to July 1997 both the IRA and their Unionist opposites set into an the-good-friday-agreement-fcb-agreement-c86830af6b0a22248c758e32b8a1f95a-large-130081internecine war against each other and ultimately against the State. The Good Friday agreement sealing a fragile peace, with no little effort from all sides categorically stated neither party was to have any mainland government preferences shown them. Their autonomy and non influence on laws affecting mainland political argument was sacrosanct. That Sinn Féin has historically never represented itself in Parliament at Westminster is and always has been their choice. In 2015 the EVEL law made it impossible for parties such as the DUP to vote on English laws. Brexit does not fall under that law yet everything else does.

The Conservatives, well at least Theresa May in her thoroughly weakened state, havedupad tried to ‘fix’ a deal with the DUP in order to give an impression of majority. Like so much of their previous manipulating, it merely presented a mirage of deception and lies. It will never hold any meaningful water.

What is more terrifying is the history and make up of the DUP apart from its frighteningly archaic beliefs and principles, was as much a terror organisation as the Provisional Irish Republican Army. That this irony has not even crossed the conversation of the mainstream is typical, yet it highlights how easy it has always been for the right wing, both Conservative and blue Labour to have leapt into bed with the worst terror cells/governments on the planet for purpose and self gain. Present relationships with the likes of Saudis Arabia..."

"The strange tale of the DUP, Brexit, a mysterious £425,000 donation and a Saudi prince"

'I’ve challenged the DUP as to why they do not publish their donations,' says Alliance party politician

"It is a strange tale involving Theresa May’s new “friends” in the Democratic Unionist Party, the Brexit referendum campaign and a mysterious donation of £425,000.

And, while those involved have refused to reveal more than a few details, there has been allegedly “fanciful” talk of “an arms drop in India” and the involvement of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi intelligence.

The story began with a four-page, wrap-around cover advert in the Metro newspaper promoting the Leave campaign ahead of the Brexit referendum in June 2016, an extraordinary move that cost some £282,000.

This turned out to have been paid for by the DUP, which was odd as the party only stands in Northern Ireland where the Metro is not published.

What the DUP stands for and will bring to parliament
Who is Arlene Foster- the DUP leader and Theresa May's new partner?
DUP condemned for climate change denial of Trump-style proportions
These are the reasons why the DUP is so controversial
Under Northern Ireland’s electoral laws, political donations do not need to be publicly declared, a legacy from the region’s Troubles, when funding a political party might make someone a target for terrorists.

However in February, after some political pressure over the issue, the DUP MP Sir Jeffrey Donaldson revealed that the adverts had been paid using a £425,000 donation from a group called the Constitutional Research Council (CRC), chaired by former Scottish Conservative vice-chairman and Glasgow-based businessman, Richard Cook.

This sparked further questions about the ultimate source of the money. Mr Cook told The Sunday Times that the CRC had three other members, but declined to identify them.

He did decide to try to dampen down some of the speculation about who had been involved."

Theresa May defends Saudi Arabia ties ahead of trade talks

"Theresa May has defended the UK's relationship with Saudi Arabia ahead of trade talks in Riyadh where she hopes to boost Britain's post-Brexit business ties.

In recent weeks the prime minister has faced widespread criticism over Britain's arms deals with the Arab state.

There have also been repeated calls to suspend the sales of weapons amid claims of human rights abuses in Yemen under the Saudi-led coalition bombing campaign.

But Mrs May stressed how important UK-Saudi business dealings were for the "safety and prosperity" of the country.

She told ITV News: "Our relationship with Saudi is very important to the United Kingdom. It's a long-standing one."

Theresa May urged not to suppress report into funding of jihadi groups

"Jeremy Corbyn and Tim Farron have challenged Theresa May over a long-delayed inquiry into foreign funding and support of jihadi groups in the UK, after the Home Office suggested the investigation may not be published.

The inquiry into revenue streams for extremist groups was commissioned by David Cameron when he was prime minister and is thought to focus on Saudi Arabia.

But the Guardian revealed last week that the report was still incomplete and its contents may not be published.

The Labour leader used a speech in Carlisle on Sunday evening to challenge the prime minister over the delayed report.

Corbyn referenced May’s speech after the London Bridge attack on Saturday, in which she said challenging terrorism would “require some difficult and often embarrassing conversations”."
