Default Leaflets thread

For all creative discussion about leaflets to be distributed in the wake of the Jimmy Savile/elite sexual abuse/ongoing cover-up by TPTB etc.

And, all technical questions.

So we can keep the main Savile thread clutter-free.

Thanks

Just to let you know a 'trick' I use when leafleting......

(and I have used leaflet ideas from the JS thread)

I print THREE separate leaflets when I am posting door-to-door. I fold each leaflet in a tri-fold and keep in separate piles. I then make my final pile as Leaflet 1, Leaflet 2, Leaflet 3......so that neighbours don't actually get the same leaflet. That means if a neighbour says to next door: "Did you get that leaflet about JS last night? " the other says, "Oh the one about paedophilia being across the country?" 1st neighbour says, "No, the one about ER knowing about JS but did nothing about it"

*cue neighbours getting their own leaflets out for comparison*

Compare - find they have different leaflets - read each others.

By doing 3 leaflets (all different) it doesn't matter which next-door neighbour they speak to. They all have different information. Hey presto! Three times the information is being shared! (And hopefully talked about)

P.S. you need lots of elastic bands to do it this way. I do final piles of 60. I then stuff the dog's panniers with them and off we jolly well go!

Default Alternative message idea

Since there are still many people in denial regarding the scale of child abuse, perhaps a way to set them on a wider path of discovery is to hit them in their pockets - as with the TV licence fee?

Default Experimenting

Great idea Iwantthetruth. and getting the dog walked at the same time!!

I have been experimenting, I saved an image, added wording in paint, copied to picasa, copied to here, but the pic seems to have shrunk!? and the wording is not that clear.

Ideas? suggestions?

Hi everyone,

I thought I might have a go at doing some flyers, around a2 size ( 1/4 of an A4), so they can be stuck on cash machines, eye level on lamp posts, crossings, back of toilet doors etc. I have a few ideas and was going to do things that have a picture and maybe one or two quotes or facts, something with more visual impact than lots of small text.

If any one has suggestions I would be happy to have a go.

Default BBC News, Leaflets, CSA, Savile

Great stuff guys, keep 'em coming! Also as I said on the main thread, if anyone feels there should be more info/content in the first post (links?) then please ask me and I'll contact a mod to edit

Chipstyxx - what did you think of Welshwitch's effort? I thought it was really punchy - an absolute knockout for the general public who still have their heads in the ground (and while they may watch a bit of BBC News everyday it's clearly being suppressed on there and in all other parts of the MSM). That one will knock them straight back between the eyes I think.

Any other thoughts (yourself or anyone else)? Of what you would like to see or need help with?

Trafficker (temporarily banned again - ?) has sent a link on Twitter to something that I don't really understand, but has explained as:

@ZedTrafficker 'A neo tag is a graphic barcode that on the leaflet, people can scan using phone and directs them to Jimmy thread'

Trafficker also says they don't know if it works and may needed to be printed to be tested. I don't have such a phone so can't do that. Anyway, here's the tweet:

@acoldplayfan neo tag link for the savile thread pic.twitter.com/ykSUXwzXMb

And the direct link:

If someone can test it and it works could you please copy the image on here and the main thread?

If there's a problem with it please PM me and I'll edit the post and let Trafficker know - cheers!

Seems really useful for the younger generation with smartphones if it works

I am an old fogey who apart from PCs hates all tech

if you need any storage for other posters, vids, documents, they can all go on there, its big enough.
I'll try find how to add other editors to it, so more ppl can add files

cant test it coz i dont know htf its done. lol. somebody ask their kid to do it? :P

Great, thank you kaz

It'd be great if someone else could check out that neo tag works?

Trafficker has tried and posted the result on twitter - SAYS it DOES!! - PROOF BELOW - if you scan the 'barcode' with a smartphone it should give a direct link to the Savile thread.

It could go at the bottom, top/on the back of leaflets.

Could also be printed on stickers which could be put ANYWHERE

Here are the two pics Trafficker's posted on twitter (@ZedTrafficker). They can also do one for the child abuse section here if people think it's a good idea - thoughts?:

That will be really useful, will try and check 2mo.
Also hopefully my techie friend will have a look at making the leaflets a bit more eye catching, appealing, uniform this weekend.

Is anyone distributing? Haven't seen any new members saying they were brought here by a leaflet they saw.

My printer's bust so I'll have to get someone to send me some.
