Not rattled, just getting a bit fatigued! What's needed is data, not vague statements from videos by people with unrelated qualifications (if any at all), or quotes from publications with no academic rigour. That's why I appreciated the link you gave in post #924 "HAARP and Project Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" where the author seems to have a grasp of the subject.

Anyway, I think "punching a hole" with RF is just journalistic licence. Even if that were possible, it soon heals up, except the one particular time the Space Shuttle launched sometime in the 1980s where there was a Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance that lasted about seven hours when it's usually only 30 mins to a couple of hours. But like I said, never confuse correlation with causation...
