Lightbulb Honour Killings

Banaz Mahmod..
Quote:
The cousin of honour killing victim Banaz Mahmod who helped to dispose of her body is "still proud of what he did", a judge said on Friday as he sentenced him to 8 years in prison..Dana Amin, 29, helped Banaz's father and two other men now convicted of murdering the 20-year-old bury her corpse in a Birmingham garden.. The Muslim's body was shoved into a suitcase before being driven to the Midlands and dumped in a make-shift grave in January 2006, where it lay undiscovered for 3 months..Judge Martin Beddoe told Amin: "[Banaz's] death had been planned for about a month or so before it actually took place. There had even been an attempt on her life already.."I am sure you were aware of all these matters and you knew not only of what had gone on but what was intended to happen...

Banaz A Love Story..

"The reason is that, like other members of this family, you subscribe to this perverted code in that a grown woman cannot choose how to live her life.."I fear for any female child you may father"..Banaz had been strangled with a shoe lace at her family home in Morden, south London, just hours before she was burried, Southwark Crown Court heard.. Her only crime was to divorce her first husband from an arranged marriage and fall in love with another man..The new romance incurred the wrath of her relatives who believed she had brought shame on their family..Terrified Banaz had repeatedly told police of her fears her life was in danger.. Her father, Mahmod Mahmod, and uncle, Ari Mahmod, were jailed for life in 2007 for her murder, together with henchman Mohamad Hama in what became one of Britain's most notorious honour killings...

DVR Cheryl James..

The 18-year-old, from Llangollen, in Denbighshire, was 1 of 4 young soldiers found dead with gunshot wounds at the Surrey barracks between 1995 and 2002..Cheryl died from a single bullet wound in her head, her body was found in a wood not far from her abandoned guard post..
Do you notice something about those photographs ? From what I recall sentry/guard duty are always done in pairs..standard operating procedure..

Working as a photojournalist, ‘Jennings’ discovers his arbitrary photographs contain more than he bargained for…The next morning, photographers hound Thorn as he arrives at his office. A camera smashes against the floor. Thorn asks the photographer if he can send him a bill for the damage. ‘No, that’s all right, Mr. Ambassador. Let’s just day you owe me.’ Jennings examines his camera. An insane priest visits Thorn. Security escorts him out of the building. Jennings shouts for the priest’s attention and takes a photograph. Back at his home, he develops the film.. There’s a mistake on the photograph, a vague wraithlike line...
