There's is a myriad of ways besides having uniformed clothing to achieve those results. Innit ?

Btw, I hope you meant rebel in some other context than what clothes you chose to wear in school. The same group thinking arises in schools without uniforms (ie "Conforming to non-conformity" - popular example being the 'Emo kid' (but there are loads of others XD))
