Thanks for the replies.

I have been on a diet for a week now and reduced my intake of starchy carbs crisps and fat and eating more fruit and some veg. I just took a blood pressure reading this morning at home and the reading is 137 over 87. It’s not great but at least it’s a lot lower than the blood pressure readings I’ve been getting for the past few weeks.
