Lightbulb Belisana

178 Belisana is a rocky main belt asteroid that was discovered by Austrian astronomer Johann Palisa on November 6, 1877. It is named after the Celtic goddess Belisana..She is identified with Minerva in the interpretatio romana..The presence of the goddess in Britain is more difficult to establish. Based on Ptolemy listing a "Belisama estuary", River Ribble in England seems to have been known by the name Belisama in Roman times..The Ribble begins at the confluence of the Gayle Beck and Cam Beck near the famous viaduct at Ribblehead, in the shadow of the Yorkshire 3 peaks..The river is connected to both the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and the Lancaster Canal (via the Ribble Link).. The river downstream of Preston was actively dredged when Preston was an active port; this is no longer done and silt from the river is now spreading more widely over the (sand) beaches around Fairhaven and St. Annes..Minuscule 178 codex contains an almost complete text of the 4 Gospels on 272 thick parchment leaves..The text is written in two columns per page, in 23 lines per page..

The 178th and 179th Street Tunnels are 2 defunct vehicular tunnels in Upper Manhattan in New York City.. Originally conceived and constructed under the auspices of Robert Moses, the twin tunnels have been superseded by the Trans-Manhattan Expressway in Washington Heights, which itself runs through tunnels created by high-rise apartments built over the expressway..The 2 tunnels are currently being used by the Port Authority as storage space..Arp 178 is a triplet of galaxies, in the constellation Bo├Âtes..Atomic number of an element temporarily called Unseptoctium..178 AH is a year in the Islamic calendar corresponds to 794 – 795 CE..Johann Palisa (December 6, 1848 – May 2, 1925) was an Austrian astronomer, born in Troppau in Austrian Silesia (now in the Czech Republic)..He was a prolific discoverer of asteroids, discovering 122 in all, from 136 Austria in 1874 to 1073 Gellivara in 1923... Along with this, he discovered 27 minor planets and one comet..The asteroid 914 Palisana and the crater Palisa on the Moon were named in his honour... During his stay in Pula he used a small six-inch refractor
telescope to aid in his research.. the Homo sapiens were, in fact, homo sapiens, is that why they're extinct?..Joey, Homo sapiens are people..Hey, hey, I'm not judging!...
