On 13th November, Venus and Jupiter will be conjunct so if you look at them in the westerrn sky after dark (where Jupiter is now visible), it may be hard to see them as apart and they should shine very brightly!

You can see on this link that Venus and Jupiter will both be at 7 Scorpio. The declination (the up or down direction) is only 1 degree apart.

BUT look at the Distance column, Jupiter is waaaaaay further out than Venus is. Astrologically, they may make a lovely impact if you have anything in your chart at say, 5-10 degrees of Scorpio, but I can't see how they can cause a disaster.
