I've been a huge fan of electronic music since I was a kid. It was while watching Dr Who is the early 1980s that the electronic scores on that show caught my attention and I fell in love with synth music. I remember when I was a kid my late mother played Jean Michel Jarre's Equinox album on the old cassette deck and I remember thinking the music as weird and absolutely wonderful and amazing. Over the years I started buying cassettes and CDs of artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Ashra, Vangelis, Kraftwerk and a German space rock band called Eloy and other artists. When I reached my 20s I bought a lot of CDs from an electronic musician called Ian Boddy. Here is one of the tracks from one of his albums called Spirits.
