Nimoy got the Vulcan hand sign from a Jewish ritual, which seems to confirm that, on some level at least, the Vulcans are the Jews. As I mentioned before, it seems that Abrams obviously intended the destruction of Vulcan by the villain "Nero" (666) to correspond with the destruction of the Second Temple of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70AD. And as Nero is primarily known for his persecution of the early Christians, does that make Kirk = the Church, or in true Joseph Campbell fashion, Christ himself? Does James Kirk/Church refer to the apocryphal story of James, brother of Jesus, who supposedly established the first church in Glastonbury?

I am reposting some Star Trek stuff that I already mentioned in another thread:

Star Trek is absolutely loaded with occult significance. The moral of "The Naked Time" seems to be that people must not let their personal interests get in the way of serving the Great Work (the Enterprise). Spock is the "Tubal-Cain" (Vulcan) and signifies the pure occult Science. Together, Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Scotty represent the four elements, Fire, Air, Water and Earth.

A consistent theme throughout the Original Series episodes is that the Fall of Man was for his own benefit—a very Luciferian concept, perhaps. In "This Side of Paradise," Kirk states it explicitly:
MCCOY: Well, that's the second time man's been thrown out of paradise.
KIRK: No, no. This time we walked out on our own. Maybe we weren't meant for paradise. Maybe we were meant to fight our way through – struggle, claw our way up, scratch for every inch of the way. Maybe we can't stroll to the music of the lute. We must march to the sound of drums.
Back in 1997, William Cooper wrote:
The Philosophy of the Mystery Schools is the Luciferian Philosophy as espoused by General (Christopher) Albert Pike, one of the founders of the KKK. But it is not his original thought... he just expounded upon it in forms that eventually became accessible to those who seek it out. Christopher means Christ-like. To the adept, Albert Pike achieved a mystical apotheosis in the Lodge of Perfection and brought forth the Christ within. He thus became Christed taking on the name Christopher.

Watch "StarTrek" from the beginning episodes up to the present, and you will begin to realize that it was an indoctrination into the concepts of socialism through subliminal initiation of the youth of the nation. The Captains James T. Kirk (JTK = K(nights) (of the) T(emple) (of) J(erusalem) and Christopher Pike are symbolic salutes to the Order of the Templars, and to the Brotherhoods greatest philosopher and probably its most prolific writer the Christed General Albert Pike.

The Enterprise represents their great work or plan which if navigated properly will lead them to the realization of their dream of a united socialist utopian world.
So far Cooper. Christopher Knowles has also observed that the Enterprise, NCC-1701, is the Bark of Osiris—Osiris having entered the ark on the 17th of Athyr, while the first Masonic Grand Lodge was formed in England in 1717. There is a curious similarity in shape between the Enterprise and the astrological sign for Uranus:

"The Enemy Within" also presents a concept that would be immediately familiar to occultists. Due to a transporter accident, Kirk is split into two persons, the Good Kirk and the Bad Kirk.
SPOCK: You have here an unusual opportunity to appraise the human mind, or to examine, in Earth terms, the roles of good and evil in a man. His negative side, which you call hostility, lust, violence; and his positive side, which Earth people express as compassion, love, tenderness. And what is it that makes one man an exceptional leader? We see here indications that it is his negative side which makes him strong--that his evil side, if you will, properly controlled and disciplined, is vital to his strength. Your negative side, removed from you, the power of command begins to elude you.
In other words, without his Evil side—properly controlled—the Good Kirk has no force of Magickal Will with which to command the Enterprise. In the Golden Dawn initiation, the the neophyte is told: "Child of Earth, remember that unbalanced force is evil, unbalanced mercy is but weakness, unbalanced severity is but oppression."

And again,
SPOCK: Being split into two halves is no theory with me, doctor. I have a human half, you see, as well as an alien half... submerged, constantly at war with each other. I survive it because my intelligence wins out over both, makes them live together.
