More than 1 doctor is saying alkaline is a matter of charge and the body needs donor electron for cell health. Could it be as simple to obtain as turning that gallon jug of water you buy into a capacitor? If you tape a aluminum sheet on the side of the container the correct size to hold the charge and check it with litmus paper, by trial and error you should be able to bring water to an alkaline state. Know it would take an amount of time to reach the correct charge in the water because molecules are free to move to collect that charge. Using the same water source and capacitor plate and charge time should produce the same results every time.

Just a thought, considering dumping out several gallons of distilled water experimenting. I have no idea how toxic litmus paper is so I will not be drinking from water tested in that manner.
