The Stranglers - Bear Cage (12" version)..

Goldilocks and the Three Bears and the older story title, "The Story of the Three Bears", is a very old Nursery Tale with 2 variants..The original tale tells of an ugly, old woman who enters the forest home of three bachelor bears whilst they are away.. She sits in their chairs, eats some of their porridge, and falls asleep in one of their beds. When the bears return and discover her, she starts up, jumps from the window, and is never seen again..The other major version brings Goldilocks to the tale (replacing the old woman), and an even later version retained Goldilocks, but has the three bachelor bears transformed into Papa, Mama, and Baby Bear..The story makes extensive use of the literary rule of three, featuring three chairs, three bowls of porridge, three beds, and the three title characters who live in the house...

Ursa Major (Great Bear and Charles' Wain) is a constellation in the northern celestial hemisphere.. One of the 48 constellations listed by Ptolemy (second century AD), it remains one of the 88 modern constellations.. It can be visible throughout the year in most of the northern hemisphere.. Its name, Latin for "the greater (or larger) she-bear", stands as a reference to and in direct contrast with Ursa Minor, "the smaller she-bear", with which it is frequently associated in mythology and amateur astronomy..The constellation's most recognizable asterism, a group of se7en relatively bright stars commonly known as the "Big Dipper", "the Wagon" or "the Plough" , both mimicks the shape of the lesser bear (the "Little Dipper") and is commonly used as a navigational pointer towards the current northern pole star, Polaris in Ursa Minor.. The Big Dipper and the constellation as a whole have mythological significance in numerous world cultures, usually as as symbol of the north...

The trapezoidal abstract sculpture is made of Cor-Ten steel; it is installed on the lawn..The Ursa Major is the largest dragline excavator currently in use in North America. Its bucket is 160 cubic yards, and it has a 360-foot boom..It weighs a little less than 15 million pounds..A dragline excavator is a piece of heavy equipment used in civil engineering and surface mining..Draglines fall into two broad categories: those that are based on standard, lifting cranes and the heavy units which have to be built on-site...
