Richard Clayderman is a French pianist who has released numerous albums including the compositions of Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussaint, instrumental renditions of popular music, rearrangements of movie soundtracks, ethnic music, and easy-listening arrangements of popular works of classical music..In 1976, he was invited by Olivier Toussaint, a French record producer, and his partner Paul de Senneville, to record a gentle piano ballad.. De Senneville had composed this ballad as a tribute to his baby daughter, Adeline.. The 23-year-old Pag├Ęs was auditioned along with 20 other pianists and got the job.."Brandy" was a hit in 1971 for Scott English in the UK and in 1972 for Bunny Walters in New Zealand, but achieved greater success when covered in 1974 by Barry Manilow in the US with the title changed to "Mandy"...

"Bird's-Eye View of the Great New York and Brooklyn Bridge and Grand Display of Fire Works on Opening Night"...
The Brooklyn Bridge was initially designed by German immigrant John Augustus Roebling, who had previously designed and constructed shorter suspension bridges, such as Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct in Lackawaxen, Pennsylvania, Waco Suspension Bridge in Waco, Texas, and the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge in Cincinnati, Ohio... morning I was not yet a vampire, and I saw my last sunrise.. I remember it completely, and yet I can't recall any sunrise before it..I watched the whole magnificence of the dawn for the last time as if it were the first.. And then I said farewell to sunlight..and set out to become what I became...
