Lightbulb Mont Saint-Sauveur

Considered the home of Quebec's ski industry, it was here that in 1934, an American named Fred Pabst installed the first ski lift on Hill 70 which rapidly became one of the most popular ski destinations in eastern North America. Eleven years later, a group of businessmen joined with Victor Nymark to form UPHILL LTD. to further develop the site. In 1948, a T-bar, imported from Austria, was installed on Hill 71. Ski lifts on Hills 67 to 72 were installed throughout the following years..At that time, the site was divided into different lots with different owners. It wasn’t until 1970 that efforts were started to unite the different lots under a common organization under the direction of Jacques G. H├ębert. Jacques succeeded in convincing the owners to sell part of their interests to the ski center. The gradual acquiring of the different lots was finally achieved and in just a few years, the company changed from being a renter to being an owner. Thus, in 1972, Mont Saint-Sauveur resort was born..Nearest city Montreal, Quebec 77 km..(48 mi)..Vertical 213 m (698 ft)..Runs 13% Extremely DiffiCult..Base elevation 203 m (666 ft)...Lift system 8 total 4 detachable quads 2 quadruple chair 1 double chair 1 magic carpet..Night skiing 27 out of 38 trails...

Saint-Sauveur is a town and municipality within the Les Pays-d'en-Haut Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada. It is in the administrative region of Laurentides in the Laurentian mountains, located about 60 kilometres north of Montreal..The town was the childhood home—from about 1946 to 1960—of Canadian musicians Kate and Anna McGarrigle were born in Montreal of mixed Irish- and French-Canadian background..Although associated with Quebec's anglophone community, the McGarrigles also recorded and performed many songs in French..2 of their albums, Entre la jeunesse et la sagesse (also known as French Record) and La vache qui pleure, are entirely in French, but many of their other records include one or 2 French songs as well. Most of their French songs were co-written by Philippe Tatartcheff, with occasional input from Kate McGarrigle's son, Canadian-American solo artist Rufus Wainwright. Rufus and his sister Martha Wainwright, also a singer, are the children of Kate and her former husband, singer-songwriter Loudon Wainwright III..No More Shall We Part is the 11th studio album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on 2 April 2001 in the UK (and 10 April in the US)... are defined not by themselves, but by the people they betray..He's not human.. she studies people in order to appear human, but all he has discovered is our fear and our hatred..We're not a Sunday shooting club, Adolf..
