Magic squares were known to Chinese mathematicians as early as 650 BCE,and to Arab mathematicians possibly as early as the 7th century CE, when the Arabs conquered northwestern parts of the Indian subcontinent and learned Indian mathematics and astronomy, including other aspects of combinatorial mathematics.. The first magic squares of order 5 and 6 appear in an encyclopedia from Baghdad circa 983 CE, the Encyclopedia of the Brethren of Purity (Rasa'il Ihkwan al-Safa); simpler magic squares were known to several earlier Arab mathematicians..Some of these squares were later used in conjunction with magic letters, as in (Shams Al-ma'arif), to assist Arab illusionists and magicians.. The first magic squares of order 5 and 6 known to have been devised by Arab mathematicians appear in an encyclopedia from Baghdad circa 983 AD, the Rasa'il Ikhwan al-Safa ( Encyclopedia of the Brethren of Purity); simpler magic squares were known to several earlier Arab mathematicians. The 3x3 magic square has been a part of rituals in India since Vedic times, and still is today..In about 1510 Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa wrote De Occulta Philosophia, drawing on the Hermetic and magical works of Marsilio Ficino and Pico della Mirandola.. In its 1531 edition, he expounded on the magical virtues of the 7 magical squares of orders 3 to 9, each associated with one of the astrological planets, much in the same way as the older texts did..Magic squares of order 3 through 9, assigned to the se7en planets, and described as means to attract the influence of planets and their angels (or demons) during magical practices, can be found in several manuscripts all around Europe starting at least since the 15th century. Among the best known, the Liber de Angelis, a magical handbook written around 1440, is included in Cambridge Univ. Lib. MS Dd.xi.45.. The text of the Liber de Angelis is very close to that of De septem quadraturis planetarum seu quadrati magici, another handbook of planetary image magic contained in the Codex 793 of the Biblioteka Jagiellońska (Ms BJ 793).. For instance, the 3x3 square, that belongs to Saturn, has to be inscribed on a lead plate.. It will, in particular, help women during a difficult childbirth..Saturn=15...

If thou openest not the gate to let me enter,
I will break the door, I will wrench the lock,
I will smash the door-posts, I will force the doors..
I will bring up the dead to eat the living.
And the dead will outnumber the living...

The 2nd millennium BC marks the transition from the Middle to the Late Bronze Age..Its first half is dominated by the Middle Kingdom of Egypt and Babylonia. The alphabet develops.. Indo-Iranian migration onto the Iranian plateau and onto the Indian subcontinent propagates the use of the chariot.. Chariot warfare and population movements lead to violent changes at the center of the millennium, a new order emerges with Greek dominance of the Aegean and the rise of the Hittite Empire. The end of the millennium sees the transition to the Iron Age. World population begins to rise steadily, reaching some 50 million towards 1000 BC..The first magic squares of order 5 and 6 appear in an encyclopedia from Baghdad circa 983, the Encyclopedia of the Brethren of Purity (Rasa'il Ihkwan al-Safa); simpler magic squares were known to several earlier Arab mathematicians.. Some of these squares were later used in conjunction with magic letters, as in (Shams Al-ma'arif), to assist Arab illusionists and magicians..The most common use for these kameas is to provide a pattern upon which to construct the sigils of spirits, angels or demons; the letters of the entity's name are converted into numbers, and lines are traced through the pattern that these successive numbers make on the kamea. In a magical context, the term magic square is also applied to a variety of word squares or number squares found in magical grimoires, including some that do not follow any obvious pattern, and even those with differing numbers of rows and columns. They are generally intended for use as talismans.. For instance the following squares are: The Sator square, one of the most famous magic squares found in a number of grimoires including the Key of Solomon; a square "to overcome envy", from The Book of Power; and 2 squares from The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, the first to cause the illusion of a superb palace to appear, and the 2nd to be worn on the head of a child during an angelic invocation..The warhead of the B53 used oralloy (highly enriched uranium) instead of plutonium for fission, with a mix of lithium-6 deuteride fuel for fusion. The X=plosive lens comprised a mixture of RDX and TNT, which was not insensitive..2 variants were made: the B53-Y1, a "dirty" weapon using a U-238-encased secondary, and the B53-Y2 "clean" version with a non-fissile (lead or tungsten) secondary casing.X=plosive yield was approximately 9 megatons..It was intended as a bunker buster weapon, using a surface blast after laydown deployment to transmit a shock wave through the earth to collapse its target.. Attacks against the Soviet deep underground leadership shelters in the Chekhov/Sharapovo area south of Moscow envisaged multiple B53/W53 exploding at ground level.. It has since been supplanted in such roles by the earth-penetrating B61 Mod 11, a bomb that penetrates the surface to deliver much more of its X=plosive energy into the ground, and .
therefore needs a much smaller yield to produce the same effects..

Tavistock Square is a public square in Bloomsbury, in the London Borough of Camden and was the scene of one of the 4 suicide bombings on 7 July 2005.. The bomb was detonated by 18-year-old terrorist Hasib Hussain on a double-decker bus bearing number 30 opposite the BMA building.. The explosion killed 13 commuters, plus Hussain himself..On the BMA building is a blue plaque commemorating that Charles Dickens once lived in Tavistock House on the site..A cherry tree was planted in 1967 in memory of the victims of the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima..The world's 1st blue plaques were erected in London in the 19th century to mark the homes and workplaces of famous people..The Blue House is in fact a complex of buildings, built largely in the traditional Korean architectural style with some modern elements..A transit is the astronomical event that occurs when one celestial body appears to move across the face of another celestial body, hiding a small part of it, as seen by an observer at some particular vantage point..It's Alien, the 8th passenger..Quinceañera sometimes called fiesta de quince años, fiesta de quinceañera, quince años or simply quince, is the celebration of a girl's fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in communities of people from Latin America..This birthday is celebrated differently from any other birthday, as it marks the transition from childhood to young womanhood..The number of balls in the 8 ball variant of billiards..15 and 16 form a Ruth-Aaron pair under the 2nd definition in which repeated prime factors are counted as often as they occur..If a chessboard were to have wheat placed upon each square such that 1 grain were placed on the 1st square, 2 on the 2nd, 4 on the 3rd, and so on (doubling the number of grains on each subsequent square), how many grains of Wheat would be on the chessboard at the finish..The W53 warhead of the Titan II ICBM used the same physics package as the B53, without the air drop-specific components like the parachute system, reducing its mass to about 6,200 lb (2,800 kg)..The 8,140 pound Mark-6 re-entry vehicle containing the W53 warhead was about 123 inches (3.1 meters) long, 7.5 feet (2.2 meters) in diameter and was mounted atop a spacer which was 8.3 feet (2.5 meters) in diameter at the missile interface (compared to the missile's core diameter of 10 feet). With a yield of 9 megatons, it was the highest yield warhead ever deployed on a US missile. About 65 W53 warheads were constructed between December 1962 and December 1963..Leeds is a large city in the industrial heartland of Yorkshire.. The county's largest city, much of the region's economic, administrative and industrial activities were centred on Leeds which was also an important rail hub..Following bus deregulation in 1986, the MetroBus (the West Yorkshire PTE) fleet was renamed Yorkshire Rider Ltd. The livery changed from verona green and buttermilk to a bright green and cream livery and a new logo with was a stylised "YR" logo, plus the name "Yorkshire Rider", with an area on the logo that incorporated the town in which the garage for that bus was located... Enjoy yourself! What is your preference?.I hear you have a taste for little boys.. Is that not so?.No Caesar, Big Boys..Do you prefer nymphs to satyrs?..I like both, Lord..One needs both, yes, to keep healthy..Serve the state, Caligula, though the people in it are Wicked Beasts..Perhaps He is 77...
