The Wheat Field is a series of oil paintings executed by Vincent van Gogh in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.. All of them depict the view Van Gogh had from the window of his bedroom on the top floor of the asylum: a field enclosed by stone walls just beneath his window and excluded from normal life by the rear wall of the asylum grounds; beyond this enclosure farm land, accompanied by olive groves and vineyards, ran up to the hills at the foot of the mountain range called Les Alpilles..A reaper is a farming tool or person that reaps (cuts and gathers) crops at harvest, when they are ripe..A crazed scientist needs primates to conduct experiments to prove his own theory of Evolution, so he organizes an expedition into the jungles of Borneo to capture the animals he needs..14 April 1934 (USA) ...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVJv4K-niTo

The technique brought him a great deal of money, although he was already independently wealthy. As his work fell out of favour, he went from being highly respected to a subject of ridicule. Other doctors, and the public at large, quickly distanced themselves from Voronoff, pretending they had never had any interest in the grafting techniques. By the time of his death in 1951 at the age of 85, few newspapers noted his passing, and those that did acted as if Voronoff had always been ridiculed for his beliefs. Presently, however, his efforts and reputation have been somewhat rehabilitated...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwHWbsvgQUE
