Exclamation M's Daughter's

In some accounts of the Buddha's enlightenment, it is said that the demon Māra sent his three daughters to tempt the Buddha to give up his quest. Mara's three daughters are identified as Taṇhā (Craving), Arati (Boredom), and Raga (Passion)..For example, in the Samyutta Nikaya's Māra-saṃyutta, Mara's three daughters fail to entice the Buddha:They had come to him glittering with beauty Taṇhā, Arati, and Rāga But the Teacher swept them away right there As the wind, a fallen cotton tuft..Some stories refer to the existence of 5 Daughters, who represent the 3 Poisons, Attraction, Aversion and Delusion, accompanied additionally by Pride and Fear...

In Hinduism, Yama is the god of death, belonging to an early stratum of Vedic mythology. In Sanskrit, his name can be interpreted to mean "twin"In Hinduism, Yama is the lokapala ("Guardian of the Directions") of the SOUTH..3 hymns (10, 14, and 35) in the 10th book of the Rig Veda are addressed to him.. He has 2 dogs with 4 eyes and wide nostrils guarding the road to his abode (hellhound)..They are said to wander about among people as his messengers..A parallel character in Iranian mythology and Zoroastrianism is known as Yima Xšaēta, who appears in the Avesta. The pronunciation "Yima" is peculiar to the Avestan dialect; in most Iranian dialects, including Old Persian, the name would have been "Yama". In the Avesta, the emphasis is on Yima's character as one of the first mortals and as a great king of men. Over time, *Yamaxšaita was transformed into Jamšēd or Jamshid, celebrated as the greatest of the early shahs of the world. Both Yamas in Zoroastrian and Hindu myth guard hell with the help of two 4-eyed dogs...! boys, all the stitches in the world can't sew me together again. Lay down... lay down. Gonna stretch me out in Fernandez funeral home on Hun and Ninth street.. Always knew I'd make a stop there, but a lot later than a whole gang of people thought... Last of the Moh-Ricans...
