The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was founded by Abdulaziz bin Abd al-Rahman Al Saud (known for most of his career as Ibn Saud) in 1932.. Ibn Saud united the separate regions of Hejaz, Nejd, Al-Hasa and Asir into a single state through a series of conquests beginning in 1902 when he captured Riyadh, the ancestral home of his family, the House of Saud (referred to in Arabic as Al Saud).. The country has been an absolute monarchy since its inception. It describes itself as being Islamic and is highly influenced by Wahhabism.. Saudi Arabia is sometimes called "the Land of the Two Holy Mosques" in reference to Al-Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca), and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (in Medina), the 2 holiest places in Islam..Its economy is largely backed by its oil industry, which accounts for more than 95% of exports and 70% of government revenue..Following the unification of the kingdoms of Hejaz and Nejd, the new state was named al-Mamlakah al-ʻArabīyah as-Suʻūdīyah (a transliteration of المملكة العربية السعودية in Arabic) by royal decree on 23 September 1932 by its founder, Abdulaziz Al Saud (Ibn Saud). This is normally translated as "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" in English, although it literally means "the Saudi Arab Kingdom".. Al Saud is an Arabic name formed by adding the word Al, meaning "family of" or "House of", to the personal name of an ancestor.. In the case of the Al Saud, this is the father of the dynasty's 18th century founder, Muhammad bin Saud..There are 21 million Saudi nationals and 5 million foreigners living in Saudi Arabia..By custom, all males of full age have a right to petition the king directly through the traditional tribal meeting known as the majlis (or Mejlis; Arabic: مجلس‎, pl. مجالس Majālis), is an Arabic term meaning "a place of sitting", used in the context of "council", to describe various types of special gatherings among common interest groups be it administrative, social or religious in countries with linguistic or cultural connections to Islamic Countries..Saudi Arabia has long been criticized for its human rights record. Human rights issues that have attracted strong criticism include the extremely disadvantaged position of women , religious discrimination, the lack of religious freedom and the activities of the religious police..Saudi Arabia is 1 of approximately 30 countries in the world with judicial corporal punishment.. In Saudi Arabia's case this includes amputations of hands and feet for robbery, and flogging for lesser crimes such as "sexual deviance" and drunkenness..Saudi Arabia also engages in capital punishment, including public executions by beheading..Saudi Arabian police and immigration authorities routinely abuse people who are stopped or detained, especially workers from the 3rd World..Thousands of these people have already been deported back to their countries of origin by the authorities and this has resulted in many basic services suffering from a lack of workers, as many Saudi citizens are not keen on working...

The British defence firm BAE Systems has finally agreed to a deal on the price of 72 Eurofighter Typhoon jets it is selling to Saudi Arabia following years of fraught negotiations..Saudi Arabia initially agreed on a £4.4bn price-tag for the aircraft in 2007, but BAE tried to extract more money after the Saudis requested advanced weaponry and equipment for the jets, which are being built in Warton, Lancashire..The Eurofighter Typhoon is a twin-engine, canard-delta wing, multirole fighter.. The Typhoon was designed and is manufactured by a consortium of 3 companies; BAE Systems, Airbus Group and Alenia Aermacchi, who conduct the majority of affairs dealing with the project through a joint holding company, Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH, which was formed in 1986. The project is managed by the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency, which also acts as the prime customer..The maiden flight of the Eurofighter prototype took place in Bavaria on 27 March 1994, flown by DASA Chief Test Pilot Peter Weger.[1] On 9 December 2004, Eurofighter Typhoon IPA4 began three months of Cold Environmental Trials (CET) at the Vidsel Air Base in Sweden, the purpose of which was to verify the operational behaviour of the aircraft and its systems in temperatures between −25 and 31 °C..The maiden flight of Instrumented Production Aircraft 7 (IPA7), the first fully equipped Tranche 2 aircraft, took place from EADS' Manching airfield on 16 January 2008... what happened to Luther, I don't think I can get more than 2,3 HunDred Guys..Jesus!I put it all on Lucky Dan..Did you know he Was loaded..Hell no..
