He wrote to the Duke of Tuscany that "the planet Saturn is not alone, but is composed of 3, which almost touch one another and never move nor change with respect to one another.. They are arranged in a line parallel to the zodiac, and the middle one (Saturn itself) is about 3 times the size of the lateral ones (the edges of the rings).." He also described Saturn as having "ears".. In 1612, the plane of the rings was oriented directly at the Earth and the rings appeared to vanish.. Mystified, Galileo wondered, "has Saturn swallowed his children?", referencing the myth of Saturn's consumption of his children to prevent them from overthrowing him..Some gaps are cleared out by the passage of tiny moonlets such as Pan,many more of which may yet be discovered, and some ringlets seem to be maintained by the gravitational effects of small shepherd satellites (similar to Prometheus and Pandora's maintenance of the F ring)..Saturn's rings may be very old, dating to the formation of Saturn itself...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PKtTmZnVhhI

The spokes appear to be a seasonal phenomenon, disappearing in the Saturnian midwinter and midsummer and reappearing as Saturn comes closer to equinox. Suggestions that the spokes may be a seasonal effect, varying with Saturn's 29.7-year orbit..The Encke Gap is a 325-kilometre-wide gap within the A Ring, centered at a distance of 133,590 kilometres from Saturn's center.. It is caused by the presence of the small moon Pan, which orbits within it. Images from the Cassini probe have shown that there are at least 3 thin, knotted ringlets within the gap.. Spiral density waves visible on both sides of it are induced by resonances with nearby moons exterior to the rings, while Pan induces an additional set of spiraling wakes..The E Ring is the 2nd outermost ring, and is extremely wide, beginning at the orbit of Mimas and ending somewhere around the orbit of Rhea..Phoebe orbits the planet at an average distance of 215 radii. The ring is about 20 times as thick as the diameter of the planet.. Since the ring's particles are presumed to have originated from impacts (micrometeoroid and larger) on Phoebe, they should share its retrograde orbit, which is opposite to the orbital motion of the next inner moon, Iapetus.. This ring lies in the plane of Saturn's orbit, or roughly the ecliptic, and thus is tilted 27 degrees from Saturn's equatorial plane and the other rings. Phoebe is inclined by 5° with respect to Saturn's orbit plane...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD-jicP-fMg

Sat (Sanskrit: सत्) is a Sanskrit adjective meaning "the ideal; pure and true essence (nature)" of an entity or existence in the Vedanta. It can thus be concluded as "the self-existent or Universal Spirit, Brahman".. ሰ is a letter of the Ge'ez abugida, descended from South Arabian Himjar..Oxygen saturation in the environment generally refers to the amount of oxygen dissolved in the soil or bodies of water..Oxygen saturation, or (O2) stats measure the percentage of hemoglobin binding sites in the bloodstream occupied by oxygen..Sat (Romania), the smallest unit in Romania County administration...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srI1VsRDytw
Urns (also called cinerary urns and burial urns) were used by many civilizations.. After a person died, survivors cremated the body and collected the ashes in an urn. Pottery urns, dating from about 7000 BC, have been found in an early Jiahu site in China, where a total of 32 burial urns are found, and another early finds are in Laoguantai, Shaanxi..The burial urns were used mainly for children, but also sporadically for adults.. In ancient Greece, the lekythos, a type of pottery in ancient Greece, was used for holding oil in funerary rituals.. In the Bavarian tradition, a king's heart would be placed in the urn upon his death (as happened with King Otto of Bavaria in 1916). Cremation urns were also commonly used in Anglo Saxon England.."Knife urns" placed on pedestals flanking a dining-room sideboard were an English innovation for high-style dining rooms of the late 1760s. They went out of fashion in the following decade, in favour of knife boxes that were placed on the sideboard..In mathematics, an urn problem is a thought experiment in probability theory...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eQPxFfw_4Q
