Lightbulb Guantanamera

The record sleeve for their 1966 album, "Guantanamera", was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Recording Package.. Dolores Erickson appeared in part of the sleeve's design..The album reached #13 on the Billboard Top LPs chart..Released October 1966 - 16 – Grace Slick performs live for the first time with Jefferson Airplane...
"Guantanamera" (Spanish: "from Guantánamo [feminine]", thus "woman from Guantánamo") is perhaps the best known Cuban song and that country's most noted patriotic song..The music for the song is sometimes attributed to José Fernández Diaz, known as Joseíto Fernández, who claimed to have written it at various dates (consensus puts 1929 as its year of origin), and who used it regularly in one of his radio programs..The United States assumed territorial control over the southern portion of Guantánamo Bay under the 1903 Cuban-American Treaty... the object of the game *is* the object of the game..The game is tailored specifically to each participant.. Think of it as a great vacation, except you don't go to it, it comes to you...
