2000 - present day



2000 - The People newspaper tracks down Warwick Spinks (now called Wilhelm Pavel) to a flat in a suburb of Prague. He has
been on the run for 3 years so far. The People give their detailed dossier on Spinks, including his location, to British
police and the Czech authorities. Despite which, he remains on the run for a further 12 years.

2000 - Homosexual age of consent in England and Scotland lowered to 16, (Northern Ireland 17) - same as for heterosexuals -
in the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act of 2000. Jack Straw wanted the law passed ''as soon as possible''. The rarely used
Parliament Act had been invoked to get the measure onto the statute book, only the fourth time since World War One that it
has been used. Accusations of ''by - passing parliament'' and a ''constitutional outrage''.

2000 - Ricky Gervais interviews Jimmy Savile. Introduces him by saying; ''He's mad, but not in a good way''. References to
'Leeds prostitutes', Many pointed remarks strongly suggest Gervais knew about at least some elements of his sordid lifestyle.

2000 - Harvey Proctor's stores forced into liquidation after legal action by Customs and Excise over an unpaid VAT bill.

2000 - ''Even Michael Hames, then head of Scotland Yard's Obscene Publications Squad, who handled the Righton files expressed
disappointment more was not done. Writing in 2000 of the Righton inquiry, he called for a national team to be set up to
investigate paedophiles, adding: "I remain convinced that we have only touched the tip of a huge national and international problem."

2000, Feb - 'Lost In Care': The Waterhouse Report, which concludes that "widespread sexual abuse of boys occurred
in children's residential establishments in Clwyd between 1974 and 1990." The Waterhouse report costs an estimated £13 million.
David Cameron was a member of the home affairs select committee which considered the findings of Waterhouse.

2000, April - documentary by Louis Theroux about Jimmy Savile.

2000, sept 8th - Jack Straws brother William Straw found guilty of an indecent assault on a 16-year-old girl.

2001 - Notorious spoof episode of Brass Eye, 'Paedogeddon'. Several famous famous duped into appearing, including
Gerald Howarth - caught up in the BBC documentary scandal for far right leanings. Reads out ridiculous statement.

2001 - Jeffrey Archer perjury conviction.

2001, March 13th - Geoffrey Prime released after serving half his 35 yr sentence & given a new identity to protect him
from vigilante attacks.

2001, April 20th - Spinks' Pinochio club (owned by Petr Sadik Sidikman. one of those raided by Prague police working with
British, German and Swiss detectives. Also raided is 'Escape To Paradise'.

2001, May - Judge Anthony Russell (Stuart Hall Judge) reinstated as judge following gay brothel scandal.

2001, May 23rd - heavily armed police raid several Prague gay clubs, including Spinks' Pinocchio, detaining 87 people
and charging four with prostituting young boys and endangering their moral upbringing. The four men, who range in age
from 30 to 57, are held.

2001, July 4th - Tom Pendry joins the house of Lords.

2001, August (mid) - Gordon Emslie, 55, (connected Gleaves) tracked down in Newcastle by The Sunday Mail, at his favourite haunt the Discovery Museum.

2002, July - Wolvercote Clinic (Ray Wyre) closes owing to public pressure & DOH selling of land.

2002 - Brian McGinnis prevented from beig involved with services for children with learning difficulties.

2002, August 8th - Jimmy Savile attends Jersey Battle of Flowers Carnival (Moonlight Parade held on Friday, 9th August 2002).
He wins Mr. Battle.

2002, November - George Smith, former royal servant claims that in the early 1990's he witnessed Prince Charles & the same
royal servant he alleged raped him, in a ''shocking incident'' together. Mail on Sunday publishes story but not exact details
of Smith's claims regarding Charles. They will do in 2003 however.

2003 - The Mail On Sunday publish George Smith's story again but this time with all the details. all the details. It was
a story which, in the paper's own words, could "inflict irreparable damage on the monarchy". Sir Michael Peat, Prince
Charles's private secretary, repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, tried to convince Peter Wright, the editor of the Mail on
Sunday, that Mr Smith was 'an unreliable witness whose personal problems made him vulnerable to chequebook journalism.'
An injunction is in place. Also labelled, predictably, a 'fantasist'. The editor doesn not back down and story cirulates
around world. Clarence House labels the allegations 'risible' and Charles even contemplates appearing on TV to deny claims.

2003: Following the coroner's report into the death of former Bryn Estyn clients, police launch a new investigation in which John Allen
is cleared of a further 36 offences when a judge rules that he would not receive a fair trial under EU human rights legislation.

2003, May - Grant Russell, sex tourist, murdered in Vinohrady apartment, Prague, belonging to Warwick Spinks and Vladimir and called 'Toucan Apartments'.

2003, July 1st - Highly critical report of Jersey's 'Principles, Practices and Provision for Children and Young People with
emotional and behavioural difficulties and disorders', by Kathie Bull of OFSTED, commissioned, 'to outline the requirements
of each department for designing a co-ordinated Island approach to developing, maintaining and monitoring the provision
and services for children with serious emotional and behavioural difficulties.' Two childrens homes were recommended for closure,
but remained open.
Jersey in its later enquiry (2007/8) will be heavily criticised by some for not acting upon any of the recommendations contained
therein and suggestions that the Bull report was not acted upon at this time because of lack of investment and a cover up by
politicians.

2004 - Colin Peters sets up 'VATATTACK', a VAT consultancy & sole practitioner advising on VAT.

2004 - Warwick Spinks a very rich man. Has built “businesses” and bought properties in South Africa, Namibia, Poland,
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, France and England. An international warrant for his arrest 28.02.2004 - by Scotland
Yard - is set in the framework of the kidnapping of a 4 year old child. He lives in Czech Republic, in one of his numerous
properties, earned from child trafficking. He changes appearances, sometimes skinny, sometimes fat, and thanks to his
language abilities, melts into the background.

2004 - Comments on a Dutch blog suggest Warwick Spinks was seen working at Pinnochio bar in Prague around this time.

2004 - Paul Kidd (Buck Palace) meets third victim. He is 12 or 13 and is abused several years later.

2004 - Harvey Proctor, 'disgraced politician', reported as being ''Queen of the Castle'' as manager of the Duke of Rutland's
ancestral seat, Belvoir (pronounced Beaver) Castle, and lives in a large country house in the grounds of the 18,000-acre estate
near Grantham, Lincolnshire. Living with long term partner and art dealer, Terry Woods. He says he's lived there 'over a year'.

2004, March 28th - Jimmy Savile placed at dinner at Chequers: ‘When we drove up to the house, there were SWAT teams everywhere:
guys crawling around on the grass, with guns. He [Blair] answered the door wearing jeans, with a pint in his hand. We went in,
and that was when it got totally fucking psychedelic. Judi Dench was there, a guy from Psion computers, that author,
John O’Farrell… and Jimmy Savile. I introduced him to Kate [McGee's wife], and he started kind of sucking her fingers. It was
all totally weird.’

2005, 19th December - Rolf Harris unveils his portrait of the Queen, commissioned to mark the monarch's 80th birthday the following year.

2006 - Savile appears on final edition of Top of the Pops.

2006 - Court in Vietnam finds Gary Glitter guilty of committing obscene acts with minors. Career irreparably damaged.

2006/2007 - Savile sent 80th birthday card by Prince Charles saying "Nobody will ever know what you have done for this country Jimmy. This is to go some way in thanking you for that." With a box of cigars and some cufflinks.

2007 - Jimmy Savile pictured with young children and Cardinal Keith O’Brien who will, in 2013, quit amid allegations of
“inappropriate acts” towards fellow priests and after admitting he was a close friend of Savile.

2007 - Jimmy Savile interviewed under caution by police investigating an allegation of indecent assault in the 1970s at Duncroft
Approved School for Girls, which Savile treated as a ''paedophile sweetshop''. Mr Williams-Thomas said: "The 2007 investigation
offered the best opportunity to catch Savile. It raises questions about why the one person who could have provided information
was not spoken to.

2007 - Peter Righton dies whilst living on a baronial estate in Suffolk which was regularly used as a holiday
centre for disadvantaged children in Islington, despite earlier convictions for possession of abusive images
of children.

2007 - death of Baby P in Haringey, London.

2007, January - Former social worker, whistleblower Simon Bellwood, centre manager at the Greenfields secure unit on the
island of Jersey in August last year, makes an official complaint about a "Dickensian' system" where children as young as 11
are routinely locked up for 24 hours or more in solitary confinement in a secure unit where he works. Bellwood is
backed by British Association of Social Workers. He criticises Jersey's child care system as being 'self regulating' and
workers being afraid to speak out about the cruel policies. Put on "gardening leave" while investigations are carried out.
Social service's Minister of Jersey Stuart Syvret acts on the complaint.

2007, May - Simon Bellwood sacked ''for speaking out'' about the child abuse in Jersey.

2007, Spring - Jersey Police begin investigation into child abuse in Jersey. Practitioners including Bellwood claim
children in Jersey are being put at risk in child care services because of deficient practice, poor staff training,
lack of external scrutiny of services and a "culture of fear" preventing staff from speaking out.

2007, September - Stuart Syvret's political career is on the brink after he claims ministers are attempting to "whitewash"
his criticisms of children's services. Ministers prepare a vote of no confidence in Syvret. The Jersey government announces
it is appointing UK social work consultant Andrew Williamson to carry out an 'independent review' of children's services on
the island, including Greenfields. Williamson was appointed on the advice of Lord Laming, who carried out the Victoria
Climbié inquiry. From this date Jersey Police take 1,776 statements from 192 alleged victims, identifying 151 alleged abusers.

2008 - Chris Denning extradited back out of Britain after serving 2 years of a further 4 year sentence
and jailed in October for 5 years in Slovakia for producing child pornography. (where he had been living
prior to his extradition to Britain).

2008, February - Police move into Haut de La Garenne (now hostel) as part of the investigation into historic child abuse.
The investigation shows numerous instances of child abuse against past residents, and leads to the conviction of a former
resident and a former member of staff. Initial reports suggest that human remains and other evidence of torture and/or
murder are found. These reports later denied by the police. Savile investigated during the inquiry following
allegations that the Leeds-born DJ was involved in an indecent assault in the 1970s, and allegations are made against
other famous and powerful people. The States of Jersey Police say about Savile there was ''insufficient evidence for the
investigation to proceed''. Lenny Harper (Telegraph article below) attests that ''court cases and statements made to my
team [during the 2008 inquiry] that children in Jersey care homes were 'loaned out’ to members of the yachting fraternity
and other prominent citizens on the pretence of recreational trips but during which they were savagely abused and often raped.''
If they complained they were brutally beaten and locked in cellars, (which police still denied existed in 2008).


2008, March - Savile starts legal proceedings against The Sun newspaper, which
had linked him in several articles to child abuse at the Jersey children's home
Haut de la Garenne. Later admitted visiting after publication of infamous photograph surrounded by children.

2008, June 20 - Ray Wyre dies, aged 56.

2008, October 3rd - Russell Tricker's 'recently married' wife dies in car accident near Amsterdam. Was on her way back
to UK to play Santa's granny with Russell for bluebell railways. Originally travelled frm Birmingham to participate,
then moved France few years before.

2008, October 4th - Savile on 39th QE2 cruise voyage and his fourth to Liverpool.

2009 - Jimmy Savile interviewed under caution by Surrey police investigating an alleged indecent assault
at Duncroft school. The CPS advised there was insufficient evidence to take any further action. This was
the year of the last offence recorded by the current investigation. Police failed to interview headmistress.

2009 - Of Savile:''A further separate allegation was made in 2009 to police in Jersey. Police there concluded on legal
advice they could not charge Savile - and they had no access to the information uncovered in the ledger in 1964
(Battersea ring) because of the limited way that forces were sharing intelligence.''

2009, July 16th - The Campaign for Homosexual Equality is disaffiliated from human rights organisation Liberty,
over a motion which called for a time limit on reporting child sex abuse. They were informed in April that they were
going to disaffiliate. The contentious motion read: “We urge the government to introduce a Statute of Limitation which
would debar any criminal prosecution in respect of alleged child abuse unless the matter was brought to the attention
of the police within five years of the complainant reaching the age of majority.”

2009, August 13-14th - Jimmy Savile attends Jersey Battle of Flowers. Pictured with 73-year-old Pamela Hale who
also met him in 1973, when he did a charity walk in the island.

2010, July 17th - simon hornby, chairman of Smiths dies aged 75.

2010, August - Leon Brittan returns to government acting as trade advisor to the Coalition.

2011, April - Haut De La Garenne relaunches under a new branding as the Jersey Accommodation and Activity Centre, offering
bed and breakfast accommodation as a hub for activity holidays in Jersey. The building is also intended to act as a learning
centre.

2011, May - 'The father superior of the congregation of Salesians in the Netherlands, Herman Spronck, has been dismissed after
defending a paedophile priest. The Belgian Father Superior Jos Claes, of the Don Bosco group in Brussels, told RTL Nieuws that
Spronck no longer represents the group in the Netherlands. The dismissal comes after the suspension earlier today of a Salesian
priest who was a member of the Dutch paedophile lobby group Martijn.'.' Don Bosco is actively involved in youth work with

2011, June 7th - Tom Watson MP claims in the House of Commons about the phone hacking scandal that Johnathan Rees of MET
police was targeting politicians, members of the royal family and even terrorist informers on behalf of Rupert Murdoch's
News International. Nick Davies the next day espouses Freemasonry as playing a significant role in the scandal, including
the roles of Johnathan Rees and Sid Fillery, both of MET police.

2011, October 27th - ''Jimmy Savile: Steptoe and Son actor Wilfrid Brambell 'abused boys in Jersey' claims whistleblower''.
Two people come forward to former Jersey health minister Stuart Syvret to claim they were abused by Bramble in the Jersey
Opera House in the 1970's when they were 12-13. 1 was a resident at Haut de La Garenne. Many other people confide in Syvret
they were abused by Savile.

2011, October 29 - Jimmy Savile dies. Tributes 'pour in'.

2011 Prince Charles leads tributes to Savile. The Prince and the Duchess describe themselves as ''saddened to hear of
Jimmy Savile's death and their thoughts are with his family at this time."

2011, 9th November - Jimmy Savile's funeral. His funeral took place at Leeds Cathedral and he was buried at Woodlands Cemetery
in Scarborough, in an upright golden coffin buried at a 45 degree angle, facing the ocean and a school.

2012 - Stuart Hall receives OBE for for services to broadcasting and charity in the New Years Honours List.

2012, April 4th - Unnamed man arrested in Somerset by Op Yewtree.

2012, June 16th - Jimmy's partner Sue Hymns and niece Amanda McKenna talk about how Jimmy Savile was a great man and all the
bad rumours of him after his death are 'not true'.

2012 - Cameron announces that Mrs Justice Macur will consider how the Waterhouse inquiry dealt with original
allegations, its conduct and remit, & establish any new allegations. This is a new police investigation, independent
of North Wales Police force, under Operation Pallial. Ann Clwyd MP calls for the archive copy of the Jillings report
to be published and says she had read the report in 1994.

2012 Spinks finally arrested and put back in prison to serve remaining 18 months

2012 , 3rd October - Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile aired on ITV. Statements by Savile's victims.
Esther Rantzen, founder of Childline, admits hearing rumours of Savile's abuse of children but says ''rumours are not evidence''.
Hundreds more victims come forward following programme. Allegations that she failed to act 18 years ago leads the National
Association for People Abused in Childhood to urge her to consider her position as patron of the charity.

2012, October 18th - feature uploaded from 'Meridian Tonight', ITV News, tells how Jimmy Savile was waved through security at
the Palace of Westminster, even the 'airport style' scanners. The reporter says he has accompanied many guests there over the
years but 'savile was 'the only one who was waved through security'.

2012, October 19th - published recording of Bill Oddie remarking The Jimmy Savile cover- up could have been a ''government
conspiracy''.

2012, 24th October- Tom Watson uses his Parliamentary privilege to request police to look afresh at at claims of
an historic “powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10''. He refers to Peter Righton, a former consultant
to the National Children’s Bureau, who was convicted of importing and possessing illegal homosexual pornographic
material in 1992. He states that files on this man contained “clear intelligence of a widespread paedophile ring''.

2012, October 24th - ''Savile sex scandal hits horrific new low as former colleague Paul Gambaccini claims on Radio Five Live
that DJ was a 'necrophiliac''.
Corroborated in 1990 Interview with Q and Independent on Sunday.

2012, 28th October - Gary Glitter aka Paul Gadd first person to be arrested in London, under strand of Yewtree 'Savile and Others'
for alleged sex offences. Bailed until mid - December.

2012, October - MET Police launch Operation Fairbank, secret scoping exercise into allegations of historic sexual abuse
in the 80's by politicians and VIP'S. Launched as a result of Tom Watson's claims in parliament, of the existence of a
“powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10''. Only to be publicly revealed on 12th December.

2012, October 21st - Edwina Curry claims she heard that Sir Peter Morrison, Thatcher’s parliamentary private secretary and
deputy chairman of the party, had sex with 16-year-old boys when the age of consent was 21. Suggests he was protected.

2012, 1st November - Freddie Starr becomes 2nd person arrested by Operation Yewtree. Claim that he tried to molest a
14-year-old girl in Savile’s BBC dressing room in the 1970s. He strenuously denies the allegation. Released on bail until mid -
December.

2012, Nov 2nd - BBC airs Newsnight programme during which Steve Messham DOESNT name Alastair McAlpine as an abuser at
Bryn Estyn. He nonetheless apologises, on the 9th, saying he got the name wrong, as does the BBC, which is now in turmoil.
George Entwistle resigns on the 10th, BBC pays £185 000 plus costs to the BBC and £125 000 from ITV for their This Morning
programme. McAlpine goes on to sue Sally Bercow and threatens to sue Twitter users. The importance of free speech never
clearer, nor more attemptedly suppressed.

2012, November 11th - Wilfred De'ath arrested in Cambridgeshire under Operation Yewtree as an actress alleges he sexually assaulted her in 1965. He denies any wrongdoing.

2012, November 11th - ''Charles Napier could provide vital evidence for police investigating a child abuse scandal
spanning three decades''..''Abuse scandals probe widens: The man who may hold key to UK's biggest paedophile network ever''.
Napier is living in Dorset, known as a respected retired languages teacher, a playwright and theatre director. Sordid
past of last 3 decades hidden. A key witness. Links to parliament.....again.

2012, November 15th - Dave Lee Travis, 4th person to be arrested, in Bedfordshire. He was later released on bail. The
Alegations allegedly unrelated to Savile, and Travis said his arrest had been on matters not linked to children.

2012, November - unnamed man in his 80s questioned by MET Police and his Berkshire house is searched, but not arrested.
Reports later emerge Rolf Harris was questioned in November but was not named until April 19th.

2012, 21 November - Exposure Update: The Jimmy Savile Investigation, was shown on ITV.

2012, November 29th - Leveson report published along with a 48-page executive summary. Leveson found that the existing Press Complaints Commission is not sufficient, and controversially recommends a new independent body, which would have a range of
sanctions available to it, including fines and direction of the prominence of apologies and corrections. Many see the move as statutory
regulation of the press. Lord Hunt, the current chair of the PCC, says the new regulator should be set up by summer 2013.

2012, November 29th - Rolf Harris interviewed under caution for Operation Yewtree on suspicion of sex offences.
Police raided Berkshire home on November 24th but not at home. Offences 'not linked to Savile'.

2012, December 5th - Stuart Hall arrested. Charged with three historic counts of indecent assault, involving a 16- or 17-year-old
girl in 1974, a 9-year-old girl in 1983, and a 13-year-old girl in 1984. A statement from his solicitor says: “Stuart Hall is
innocent of these charges.'' He invokes Leveson and criticises press for naming him. Lancashire Police say naming Stuart Hall saw
more victims come forward.

2012, 6 December - Max Clifford arrested under Operation Yewtree on suspicion sexual offences that date back 40 years.
The fifth person to be arrested and the sixth person to be quizzed under Yewtree. ''Not linked to presenter Savile''. Rebailed
on 17th December to a date in February pending further enquiries.

2012, 11 December - MET police state investigation into abuse by Savile complete. Report being prepared for early 2013.
Op had involved 30 officers and cost c. £2 million. Allegations cross 7 police force areas. Some controversy because victims
still coming forward.

2013, January 2nd - Jim Davidson one of 2 men arrested by Operation Yewtree under suspicion of sex offences
against women, not linked to Savile. The second is a 53yr old arrested in Hampshire. Davidson denies the allegations.

2013, 9th January - Documents from NAYPIC worker Mary Moss which were photographed and put online taken
under warrant by police working on Operation Fernbridge. Transcripts attached to linked site.

2013, January - Yewtree report ''Giving Victims a Voice'' published. 'Most frequent offending between 1966 and 1976',
'total of 450 victims, 328 children'. Revealed a police intelligence file also linked the notorious ­paedophile to a child
sex ring in 1964 but it was overlooked until last year. A male victim, furthermore, told police he had been raped in 1963,
but was told to ''forget about it''. Also a letter to Scotland Yard in 1998 claiming the TV star was a child abuser was kept
secret because of his celebrity status. Drusilla Sharpling said: “There is a distinct possibility that such failures could be
repeated.

2013, 17th January - MET Police launch Operation Fernbridge, a full investigation into allegations that
politicians were members of a paedophile ring which abused children in care in the 1980s. Centres on the alleged
historic sexual abuse of children at Elm Guest House, in Rocks Lane, a suburban street in Barnes, south-west London,
and Grafton Close Children's Home, Richmond. Follows on from Operation Fairbank, a scoping exercise launched in October
as a result of Tom Watson's claims in Parliament. It is being run by the Specialist Crimes and Operations Directorate,
and led by the Child Abuse Investigation Command. We later discover 7 officers are working on the case.

2013, 26 Jan - Detectives raid Harry Kasir's home.''Detectives believe former guest house owner may hold vital clues to
help them uncover a network of paedophiles with links to politics, showbiz and royalty''. They attempt to recover evidence
and though not arrested, Harry is likely to be talked to again as officers build their case.

2013, January 27th - Cyril Smith named in Barnes abuse case. It is claimed that the late MP attended parties at a London guest
house where boys from a local care home were regularly assaulted.

2013 - Feb 2nd - ''Timebomb at Elm Guest House''. Could this be the biggest Establishment cover - up yet?.
''Pop stars, a bishop and a top politician appear on a list seized by police investigating child abuse at the London hotel in the 1980s.''

2013, Feb 2nd - First victim, ''Dave'', of Elm Guest House paedophile abuse speaks out. ''They forced us to wear
fairy costumes, got us drunk on cider, then the abuse started''.

2013 - 6th Feb - John Stingemore, 70, St leonards on Sea East Sussex, and Tony McSweeney, 66 a Roman CatholicPriest
from Norfolk arrested by MET police under OP Fernbridge and questioned at Belgravia station in relation to Elm Guest
House abuse allegations.

2013, Feb 16th - Haroon Kasir ''Boy Brothel Boss'' allegedly preparing to leave Britain. He has applied for a resident's
visa and is preparing to meet his 40-year-old son who already lives in the state of Connecticut. He already has both UK
and Pakistani passports. Raises some puzzling questions if permitted.

2013, 16th Feb - Savile linked to Elm Guest House: ''Met detectives told of Jimmy Savile's link to Elm Guest House.
Haroon Kasir (owner) boasted of friendship with Jimmy Savile, and 'was odd after star's death''.

2013, Feb - STuart Hall charged with further counts of historic child sex abuse and a rape. He says;“May I just say these
allegations are pernicious, callous, cruel and above all spurious.'' Stark turnaround to later adission of guilt.

2013, Feb 25th - Cardinal Keith O’Brien sensationally resigns from his post amid allegations of “inappropriate acts”
towards fellow priests. He has bragged of his friendship with Savile in the past and photos now emerge of the pair
posing with young children. He said: ''My friendship with Jimmy Savile developed over many years since I was assistant
priest in St Patrick’s Parish, Kilsyth''.

2013, March 20th - Jim Davidson arrested for second time (first in January) under Operation Yewtree 'others' strand
about new allegations of sexual offences claims by several women dating back 20 years, and one 35 years. All were
adults and he denies the allegations.

2013 - March 25th - Wilfred De'ath, former BBC producer, released without charge after being arrested as part of the
investigation under Operation Yewtree. Blames a ''different culture'' back then for reason for not ''grassing him up'' and
failing to report Savile for spending the night with a girl as young as 10.
2013 March 28th - Rolf Harris arrested under Yewtree, 2 days before 83rd birthday. Falls under strand termed 'others'.
Rolf vehemently denies claims. Bailed until May.

2013, March 30th - Dave Lee Travis re - arrested on suspicion of further sexual offences.

2013, April (reported 6th and 7th) - Scotland Yard Commander Peter Spindler dramatically quits in the middle of the high-profile
investigation into Jimmy Savile and other celebrities. Decision surprises insiders who expected Spindler to see Operation Yewtree
through to finish. He instead begins two-year secondment to the police watchdog Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.
Det Chief Supt Hamish Campbell who led the Jill Dando murder inquiry, is temporarily put in charge of Yewtree.
(Comes 6 weeks after alleged imminent arrest of prominent former Tory cabinet minister suspected of being part of a VIP ­paedophile
ring that was regularly handed boys by child rapist and killer Sidney Cooke for vile sex orgies.)

2013, April, 16th - Hall turns around and pleads guilty to 14 charges of indecent assault involving 13 girls aged between 9 and 17.
Two of the offences related to indecent penetration, and all but four of the offences took place between 1972 and 1982, during the
time Hall was at the height of his fame with It's a Knockout. In May Stuart Hall's lawyers say in a sudden turn around the star
“sincerely regrets his actions”.

2013, 25th April - Freddie Starr arrested for second time under Operation Yewtree over further allegations of sexual
offences. Bailed until June.

2013, 26th April - Max Clifford charged with 11 indecent assaults against girls and young women between
1965 and 1985.

2013, April 26th - Jimmy Tarbuck, OBE, 73, arrested by North Yorkshire Police in Kingston Upon Thames for questioning in relation
to an incident that occurred in the late 1970s when the victim was a young boy. Released on bail pending further enquiries.
Not part of Operation Yewtree but information passed on by Met police officers working on Operation Yewtree. Again, name not
made public until 6th May by media, when questioned.

2013, May 14th - Jim Davidson interviewed under caution (not re - arrested) by Operation Yewtree officers over
claim he sexually assaulted a woman in the Falkland Islands in the 1980's.

2013, May 22nd - Public message from source of Tom Watson's PMQ: ''Does the British government have a formal policy to protect
paedophiles?

2013, 23rd May - Rolf Harris bailed again until August (previously until May).

2013, May 24th - Spectator reports Warwick Spinks is free and has allegedly been sighted back in Prague.

2013, May 24th - recent reports of James Chalkley and his twin brother George being found dead in their flat in Fuengirola, Spain with
plastic bags on their heads and their mouths taped over. Ruling of 'suicide' despite the strange circumstances. James Chalkley
was an Eastenders actor connected to the Harry Jeffries, Peter Howells, John Peters and Warwick Spinks international paedophile ring talked about in this documentary, and much of which is covered in the Nick Davies article. He moved to Amsterdam when he 'retired' in 1997 from his Stepney flat and was residing in Spain 13 years before his death.

2013, June 3rd- Chris Denning arrested under Operation Yewtree.

2013, June 7th - (reported 13th) Robert oliver of Sidney Cooke paedophile ring arrested for breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order
imposed two years ago barring him from allowing children into his home. Vigilant dad reports him after viewing Sun article
revealing identity. Not on sex offenders register as sentence pre dates it.
Oliver pleaded guilty on the 12th to two breaches and Maidstone magistrates remanded him in custody until he is sentenced
at crown court. Previously spotted by Sun ogling children in shopping mall 4 yrs previously. Had been living under the name
Karl Curtis. Case highlights importance of Sarah's Law.

2013, June 10th - Leah McGrath Goodman, previously banned US author and Investigative Journalist, who was investigating the
decades of child abuse atrocities on the island, returns to Jersey after having her VISA restored following online campaigns and
petition.

2013, 14th June - ''SAVILE COP IN BIG BROTHER HOUSE''. Gay former Detective Constable Dan Neal, who lives in East London, one
of 30 officers working on Operation Yewtree, enters the Big Brother House. Before Yewtree ''he specialised in child abuse,
dealing wholly with physical and sexual abuse by family members.'' He remarked ''I’m blaming the Government for me going into
Big Brother''.

2013, June 24th - Judge Anthony Russell, judge who leniently sentenced Stuart Hall, is revealed to have resigned in 1996
after visiting a gay brothel/sauna, 'Greenhouse club' in the Walsall, West Midlands. It was exposed in the papers at the
time. Later reinstated in 2001 and promoted to senior judge.

2013, July 9th - Third arrest (Harry Kasir) by Operation Fernbridge, over historic child abuse allegations at Elm Guest
House. A 69-year-old at an address in west London on suspicion of possession of indecent images of children.

2013, July 11th - Jim Davidson re-bailed until October.

2013, july 18th - Pallial third arrest. 72-year-old man in Wrexham, arrested on suspicion of eight physical assaults.

2013, July 22nd - Father Anthony Sweeney with three counts of indecent assault, three of making indecent images of a child,
one count of taking indecent images of a child and one of possessing indecent images of a child. John Stingemore charged with
eight counts of indecent assault, two of taking indecent images of a child and one count of conspiracy to commit buggery.
The charges relate to seven victims, all of whom were aged between nine and 15 years when the offences took place during the
70s and 80s. The men are due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in September. A third man arrested in connection with
Operation Fernbridge remains of police bail.

2013, July 24th - Pallial fourth arrest. Suspect, 61, held on suspicion of sexually assaulting teenage boy between 1982 and 1985.

2013, July 26 - Stuart Hall jail term doubled by Court of Appeal to 30 months.

2013, July 28th - Daily Mirror: "Celebrity arrests could soar after horrified police discover Jimmy Savile's secret lair
at record shop. Names and sexual details of hundreds of girls were scrawled across huge wall in a scene from a horror film".
Daily Mail however say that it was not to do with Savile but just related to Yewtree investigations. Mark Williams Thomas
states it is linked to the Savile expose and has become a major child abuse investigation by GMP.

2013, July 29th- Jimmy Tarbuck re-bailed.
