Added a new track to my myspace www.myspace.com/intotheredzone called "An Ill Wind" the other week there, like the rest of them they are only skeletal, work in progress representations of some projected future point in time when they may or may not be fleshed out into finished tunes and played live.

Here's some of my stuff... just messing around really. Some of the topics covered could be relevant to this site I guess. But some of it is "tongue in cheek". :)

I hope you all enjoy my music.

Some of it is offensive, some of it isn't mine, I hope you enjoy it all and learn to laugh!

Helloooo

I have a basic bedroom studio setup. Macbook Pro, Mbox 2, Logic, a keyboard, guitar and a mic and some studio headphones.

I hope to get some significant gear upgrades in the next 6 months... but here's some tunes I've made with what I have now!

www.myspace.com/yack49

I'm interested in collaborations... I want to make music to enhance the communication of information in the independent media industry. Starting small and working my way up.
much love, peace and chicken grease!
Best regards,
Jake.

Easy guys & girls.

New tune by me. I usually make house/techno. Thought I'd mix it up and try something different. Kind of downtempo trip hop/breaks thing. Not sure what to call it really. Just thought I'd put it out there.

See what you think :)

Im not sure, my bass player is the one in the know.. it cost like £30 or so a year, but it takes about 6 weeks to go through.. I think it might be through Reverb Nation?

Whats Tunecore?

How'd the gig go? And where are you selling your cd? Obviously you can't advertise so if you tell only me by replying to this post and everyone else agreeing not to read your reply, then it's not advertising! ;)

:D

NIN and Steve Vai etc use it - I'm almost tearing my hair out looking for the rest of my wavs though, 'cause they want wav uploads instead of mp3. I can find my arrangements, but not the mixdowns...my hard drives are a MESS. Also, I need to finish my artwork before I can go live.

Tunecore seems a pretty good deal, have a looksie. There's a 'Take A Tour' link on the left. It submits to Amazon, iTunes, and other online retailers etc :)

"What's it cost?

TuneCore charges $0.99 per track, $0.99 per store per album, and $19.98 per album per year storage and maintenance. Or, just put up one song as a single for a flat price of $9.99 per year, all stores included."

So basically, you pay that and sell as many units as you want/can/dream.
