Electoral College vote
Well the vote is in and Trump has been affirmed as the President.

I was surprised to know that Bill Clinton was one of the college electors. Is it standard for former Presidents to be part of the College or was he appointed for other reasons, does anyone know - just asking?

Also I wondered if anyone thought it was a conflict of interest? I can see valid reasons why it is and also why it isn't.

I was surprised to find that too, tealady. Never heard of such a thing. Usually the electoral vote is a mere formality so maybe it has happened before and no one paid attention.

Wow, Bill is on the electoral cull-edge, that is something.

It would be interesting to use that in an argument against a democrat that didn't like the electoral college, just to see their reaction.
