In order to raise funds, Wozniak sold his prized calculator for US$250 and Steve Jobs sold his Volkswagen bus for $1,500 How valuable was his initial $1,500 investment? When the stock went public on Dec. 12, 1980, Jobs owned 7.5 million shares. With an IPO price of $22 per share that makes his $1,500 investment in 1976 worth $217 million in 1980! Of course, the share price only went up from there. Since then Apple has done three two-for-one stock splits, essentially turning that $22 IPO price into a split adjusted price of $2.75. Doing a bit of math, we can assume Jobs would have had 78,909,091 shares of Apple. This is a quick little update on the Bike Project and EMTI/PDI commercialization progress.

The bike project is now fully funded.
Bike trailer construction began last Monday.
I am hoping to have the trailer completed and begin testing November 1st (before the snow up here in the Great White North).
October 1st Potential Difference is meeting with Hero Electric (of India) to provide a technology demonstration.
Hero Electric wants ReGenX motor/generator technology for their electric scooters for India and North America and we have been in negotiations for the past 6 months.
ReGenX is the new abbreviated name for Regenerative Acceleration Generator Technology.
November 10th may be the new deadline for "early investor" participation.
Due to recent media activity and growing awareness the "early investor" window may close sooner but everyone listed here will be given ample notice.
The "early investor" denotes investors who obtain a share position before the company is incorporated or valuated.
PDI ReGenX Technology has recently been validated in the Netherlands PDI Bi-Toroid Transformer Technology (BiTT) is not far behind and has also already been partially validated PDI has acquired the services of a Canadian transformer manufacturer to develop the ReGenX and BiTT technologies.

All the investors and total investments will be tallied up and they will all be given shares based on their % of total collected.

If for example $10,000.00 is raised there will be 10,000 shares issued which will each be worth $1.00 and someone who invested $1000.00 will have 1000 shares. THESE SHARES ARE PRE-VALUATION SHARES.

Once the public demo is performed we will try to have the company valuated and then invite new investors (ONLY AFTER ALL INITIAL INVESTOR'S POSITIONS ARE SECURED) - initial investors share values ought to increase dramatically.

BTW - the bike project is fully funded already and construction has begun.

Yes the opportunity was always been about investing in the new company. The bike prototype is just a real world proof of concept pre-Press Release initiative which is meant to give everyone an equal chance to participate before it goes viral (hopefully).

One of the most exciting parts of this is how far along the pipe the technology actually
is already. This was started TEN years ago, and it took the past THREE years
for them to obtain their first license for it.
The good news is that it actually is licensed, which means that it was
far along enough in development to meet the licensing/ownership requirements
for intellectual property. This has been tested and passed by MIT.
The timing for getting in on this could not be better. This is the type of golden
opportunity that so many people dream about. Finding a gigantic new company

Potential +/- Difference Inc. Regenerative Acceleration Generator Proof of Concept Project sponsor solicitation.

KEGS Objective Overview: To create an electric vehicle which has the capacity to provide motive force in the absence of any external power supply.

As you already know the Regenerative Acceleration Generator (RM) coils create acceleration (positive motive force/torque) when loaded. . This fact is no secret and has been well established at MIT and the University of Ottawa since 2008. The greater the load - the greater the acceleration, i.e. maximum acceleration is created when the generator coils are shorted = maximum load.

This simple principle will be employed by PDI to create a bicycle trailer that will house a RM generator and the generator created accelerative torque will be designed to exceed the torque required by the bicycle rider and the bike and trailer will accelerate down the road with NO additional rider input energy or any additional energy of any kind.

The proof of concept goals steps are:

Mount a three rotor 20 pole Axial Flux generator on the bike trailer shown below.
Design the generator coils to produce acceleration at 10 - 15 km/hr.
At the required operating speed the generator coils will all be maximally loaded creating the maximum accelerative torque.
The torque supplied by the generator will be designed to exceed the required steady state speed torque and the system will accelerate WITHOUT bike rider assistance.

Performance criteria to be met:

The RM must create enough torque to overcome all resistive forces and self-propell itself.
Rotor magnet strength will be increased if required.
The RM acceleration must be sustainable with no excessive coil or core heating problems.

Dear Jason et al,

I get this same question a lot so here is the answer for everyone.

The "deadline" for investing is about a week prior to any major event which would have a positive financial effect on the share value.
We are now working towards incorporating E-Motion Technologies Inc. so that we are prepared for such an event which we expect to occur within the next month or so.

Failing that the next major event would be the public demo of the bike project where we create kinetic energy without any external energy which should garner us some attention.

If the previous list of interested suitors for Thane Heins' new corporation does not interest you, then you are just so skeptical that you are too far gone. If you insist on waiting until there is absolutely no doubt that billionaires are making piles of cash on this, then you'll be too late, a loser, and you won't stand a chance of making some serious money on it.
Go ahead a put some of that casino roulette money into this and come back in a year to be pleasantly surprised. For once you will have been one of those investors who 'got it '/ and got in early enough to look like a real stock market wizard and establish a solid financial base from which to operate.

I so much wanted to stop by and meet Saverio today, but unfortunately I wasn't able to fit it in before noon.

Thane have you decided what day(s) you're going to be in Toronto? I would like to make as much use of the time when you are.

What I've decided to do is buy a small diesel or petrol generator in the 15 to 25 horsepower range and have Saverio build a ReGenX Generator for it. Then I will have a unit I can install in a factory in the capital city and have it doing the work of a genset many times larger.

In addition to an African businessman with connections in several key regions, who is eager for us to deliver a ReGenX equipped genset to his market. I also have the chairman emeritus from Northern Ontario Power, the company that installed almost 100% of the thermal diesel fueled generators into Canada's Aboriginal communities. In addition to that, his company installed most of the high voltage transmission lines across the north of Canada, as well as the substations.

Clary lives in a community west of Sudbury and I'd love to have him come to Toronto for the demonstration. His son is the managing director of an Electric Utility company in one of our larger cities in the GTA area. I'm hoping I can get him to come in as well.

Also an exciting development just today, was the Ontario Liberal cabinet was sworn in, and my niece just so happens to manage Chris Bentley, Ontario's new Energy Minister's office in London, and Chris lives 3 minutes from my house. Also Deb Matthews, Minister of Health lives in London, and has the biggest budget of the government.

I won't approach Chris at this time, but I will sooner then later. I think a demonstration of the BiTT Transformer would be a nice passive way to approach Chris. With Clary's credibility and with the people in north western up in arms about the Liberal's energy policy, that could be a out of the way location for a proof of process so the government could see the benefits of harnessing what is presently being a loss to OPG.

Last but most certainly not least, I'm also wanting to invite First Nation's Chief Joseph B. Gilbert from Walpole Island First Nation's community, who I have known on both a personal and professional level since 1994. Chief Gilbert is one of Canada's most respected Chiefs, having served his community uninterrupted since 1994 minus 2 years after the death of his brother until the present. He sits on numerous committees and executive councils that represent Tribes from coast to coast. In addition Chief Gilbert is also Pastor Gilbert and has preached throughout N.A. for more then 40 years. There is not a community almost anywhere in NA that Joey hasn't been asked to preach in, and he can get the attention of any chief when he calls with something he believes is important to that community.

UNIVERSITY OF OTTAWA - Researched Generator Could Open a ‘New Chapter of Physics’ for EVs

New electric vehicle generator technology reverses regenerative braking paradigm and accelerates EV while recharging batteries. Early tests show more than double range extension over conventional technology.

THANE HEINS, PRESIDENT of Potential Difference Inc., has dedicated a majority of the past decade to creating a generator that would eliminate the need for oil. He was invited by Dr. Riadh Habash of the University of Ottawa in 2008 to continue work on the project in one of Ottawa University's power labs, where the results could be adequately tested, scientifically validated and shared.

According to Heins, he hasn’t just managed to create a generator that eliminates the need for oil—he has created a machine that literally defies the current laws of physics as they are presently understood.

This sentiment was also shared with Dr. Habash at Ottawa University's in 2008, "Of course it accelerates... this represents several new chapters in physics, that is why we are consulting MIT."

Dr. Stanley Townsend, University of Toronto and former Managing Editor of the Canadian Journal of Physics told Heins in an email that the technology was a "new source of power."

"Thane, Your Press Release was most interesting to me as a physicist and an engineer. Even Dr. Evstigneev N.M., Institute for System Analysis at the Russian Academy of Science had this to say after evaluating Heins' work:

" That is fascinating! A number of your experiments are not lying in the field of Maxwellian electrodynamics."

"I’m very interested in what you are doing with your experiments, because from the mathematical point of view what’s going on in your experiments represents a break of SO3 symmetry in fundamental tensor of Yang Mills equations that makes it obvious to see the flaws of Maxwell electrodynamics."

"Today I made a numerical simulation of a model problem – simulation of the Ampere’s force on the coil from the moving permanent magnet using Maxwell set of equations with bias currents in conductors. I changed the number of turns in the “coil” and varied magnetic and electric properties of coil material to get the equivalent of high R and Z. In the simulation there are no effects that you have in the experiments – in the simulation there’s a direct Lenz law as it's stated by the physics. I will inform you on any progress that I make along with reports. Thank you once again!"

Heins’ demonstration involves comparing the effects of supplying electricity to a load, in the form of light bulbs, from both a conventional generator and the regenerative acceleration generator.

After allowing the machine to build up power, he first uses a conventional generator to power a light bulb that consumes a mere 0.9 watts. Upon turning on the light blub, the motor instantly begins to decelerate according to Newton’s Third Law of Motion: for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This is normal and very well understood and is the basis for electric vehicle regenerative braking.

In the second half of the demonstration, Heins supplies power to four light bulbs, each requiring 10 watts for a total of 40 watts - more than 4700% the original output of the conventional generator. However, when his generator powers the bulbs, it causes the motor to accelerate, implying that the generator is over 100% efficient because the generator is increasing the no-load drive shaft mechanical power (speed and torque) while also sending electrical power to the loads. The generator, in essence, is reversing the direction of the energy created by the generator's induced magnetic fields, (the same induced magnetic field which decelerated the conventional generator is now accelerating the system) thus violating the Law of Conservation of Energy, which states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed.

Heins’ design has attracted researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) who have witnessed Heins’ innovation and were stumped by the atypical manipulation of Lenz’s law, an extension of the Law of Conservation of Energy.

Dr. Zahn of MIT also concurs after Heins provided MIT with a live technology demonstration in 2008, "It works and it is not something I would have expected, now I am just trying to figure it out."

Heins suggests the machine and its implications are best realized by the open minded people that watch his demonstrations. “It’s very obvious and easily understood by just about everybody. The only people that it is not obvious to and hard to accept are the engineers and PhDs. It’s because their education is an impediment to their understanding. Overturning 100 years of entrenched scientific dogma does not happen overnight and understandibly takes time as with any new innovation,” said Heins.

On the skeptics issue Dr. Townsend councils Heins with sage advice, "stay out of the limelight, and ignore any critical skeptics - don't let your energy get tied up in responding. Develop the new technology - it will market itself - you do not have to persuade skeptics."

It is not easy trying to do what you seem to have done. If you run into problems with the Conservation of Energy Rule, Let us talk about that, because I might be able to help you with that. I think that you have accomplished what you seem to have accomplished, but your "reconciliation" with present day physics "might not be taking everything into account."

The implications of this technology, which has passed the prototyping and proof of concept phase, have yet to be realized, but already players like Magna International, Defence Researchand Development Canada, U.S. Air Force, NASA , GM, Nissan, Chrysler, and even Neil Young have shown interest in the generator’s capabilities.

In particular, Heins is interested in the technology being potentially adopted by the electric car industry. He sees this technology as the solution to the "range anxiety" problems electric vehicles have faced in the past.

According to Heins, there are two ways to currently re-charge electric vehicle batteries - plugging in and regenerative braking. “We’re introducing a third mode, which is called Regenerative Acceleration,” noted Heins, who views this type of technology as being capable of causing a paradigm shift in both the energy and business worlds.

“We’re creating a New Energy Paradigm … by basically finding a way to exploit a loophole in the laws of physics,” he explained. “But we also want to try to create a New Business Paradigm that reflects the idea that competition is not good in the long run. If everybody works together, then we get a lot further a lot faster.”

"This cooperative economic model was proven mathematically to be valid by Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Josh Nash in the 1950's but the opposite is occuring in the world today and that is why humanity's future on Earth is now at risk," insists Heins.

The regenerative acceleration generator’s capabilities are currently being assessed by engineers and companies all over the world. After this stage, the technology will be taken to the roads and tested in an electric car, and all over the world where the technology will be shared and licensed for free "Nash" style.

Ultimately a fair amount of (computer control) work and development is required but it can also possibly be done manually. I have ordered an electronic circuit which should allow me to make the system run without the yellow motor/prime mover and once up above 1800 RPM it may keep going with only one motor coil and 2 generator coils operating - we will see.

I am still waiting for the bike trailer frame to be delivered but I went ahead and ordered the magnets yesterday ($1500.00 worth) which are the strongest ones I could find - "go big or go home!" I will also start winding the coils today. Ideally I wanted to test a few coil variations but I am running out of time now.

Who knows we may have a self-propelled bicycle and a self-propelled home generator to showcase in January... I'll try to be ready for Christmas however.

Hello All,

Please find below the proposed Technology Development Plan.

Bike Project Plan A: The bike project is slated to be competed and ready for testing on January 1, 2012. At this point I will be surprised if it self-propels itself because there are 16 coils and the total weight may be prohibitive. That being said there will be 100 magnets, each producing about 100 lbs of thrust so it will be interesting for sure!
Bike Project Plan B: The bike trailer is designed with two separate rotor pairs with corresponding generator coils on each rotor pair. I am working on motorizing one of the sets of motor coils so if indeed Plan A is too heavy. So we will eventually have one set of 8 motor coils and one set of 8 generator coils. My expectation is that many of the "motor" coils will be able to be converted over to generator coils I just don't know how many at this time.
Hero Electric Scooter Retrofit Phase 1: The scooter from Hero Electric should arrive any day now and the experience gained by the Bike Project will be invaluable and much of the Bike Project components will be used on the scooter. The Hero Electric proposal is to place a third wheel at the rear wheel of the scooter with a ReGenX generator housed on the drive shaft. The same test methodology will be employed on the scooter as was done with the Bike Project where Plan A is to run the system as a generator only and the motorize a portion of it if need be. Once we have sufficient data that shows the scooter with a X% range increase then Phase 2 of the project will begin whereby we integrate the ReGenX generator/motor into a hub motor and do away with the conventional system.
Self Propelled Home Generator: We have been asked to produce a self-propelled home generator (again) and this project will follow the same approach mentioned above where a certain number of motor coil will be converted over to generator coils once the system is fully up to speed. My guesstimate is that 1/4 of the coils will remain as motor coils and 3/4 will operate as generator coils - the only caveat is that the electrical output from the generator coils must exceed the electrical input of the motor coils for this project to be successful.
Tesla Motors Technology Introduction: We received a request by an Energy Engineer in Washington to be allowed introduce the ReGenX Technology to an inside connection at Tesla Motors. I have asked Joseph Neulight of pHpHydro to be involved in this presentation since Joseph lives in LA. For those of you who don't know Joseph is one of the founders of pHpHydro and he flew in for the Toronto demo last week on one days notice.


I am getting a fair number of querries concerning this so here it is again as it sits today... The final investor cut off date will be just prior to Hero Electric signing a IP Licensing contract which ought to occur some time around the end of Phase 1 or at the end of Plan A or B on the Bike Project. Up until that time we will only have an MOU in place which will expire when the project is completed. There will be a certain amount of time required to formalize the final contract upon which "last call" will be announced. Anyone who wants to panic can do so then but there is no need to do so at this time since everything is coming together beautifully.

Bike Project update: the generator trailer is still on schedule, electronics components arrived last week and generator assembly begins this week.

Hero Electric scooter: the scooter has arrived and work on it will begin in january.

The HERO Electric scooter is now here and the REGNX generator integration has begun.
The scooter will have 1 or 2 generator mounted "side cars".

Initial REGNX battery recharge tests (these tests are regenx generator output rectified to dc and directly into same type scooter battery).

The scooter motor consumes a maximum of 250 watts or 48 volts @ 5.2 amps dc probably about 200 watts or so at cruising.
At 1600 rpm 1 regenx coil produces 48 volts @ 0.597 amps dc (with acceleration) so i expect 6 coils will just about keep the scooter going indefinitely at about 25 mph.
If not a second generator mounted on the other side of the scooter should produce a total of 336 recharge watts - this gives us about a 100 watt margin of error!
The beauty of this design is that a sprocket and pedal mounts are included just in case the scooter runs out of juice so the rider can pedal home - for us it provides an ideal power take off for the generator on both sides.

As you may expect the scooter project now takes precedent over the bike project because it will provide better test results for a real client.

I have requested a pair of front wheels for the sidecar for design symmetry and a hub motor so i can integrate the generator into their hub motor simultaneously.

  1. The pedal bearing mounts have been removed to replace and reinforce them to help support the generator.
  2. Coils and rotors are fully assembled.
  3. Scooter generator mounting should begin next week.
Battery Recharge Update
  1. The "old" (square) test prototype shown below provides 40 Watts of DC battery recharge with 2 coils.
  2. Our new prototype has 33% more magnets which are 50% more powerful.
  3. Our new prototype will have 6 coils total with an expected battery recharge output of between 150 - 200 Watts (250 Watts would provide infinite range and no plug in recharge requirement).
Scooter Prototype Performance Goal
  1. Goal #1: To be able to recharge EV batteries with no decelerative generator regenerative braking effects.
  2. Goal #2: To be able to extend the HERO electric scooter range by 60 - 80%.
Project Stage 2 will be reduced in size and integrated directly into the scooter hub motor.

Looks to me like the first test of the new scooter generator's battery charging capability [ ] was a success.

He was originally going to have six coils in the generator,
now has increased the number of coils in the generator
to nine coils.

Last update he was shooting
for only 150-200 watts of battery-charging output
from the REGENX generator.

After the above successful test of the new scooter prototype,
with 33%more magnets and 50% stronger magnets ,
it appears that he is now expecting to get a thirty watt output from each coil, and will be using nine coils
[ 9 X 30=270 ] for a total output of 270 watts battery-charging output.

It appears that he is well on course, and well on target,
to give this scooter "infinite range with no plug-in recharge requirement".

It's nice of him to keep everyone so well updated even
though the work is still only partially completed. I would
think the main reason that he posted this video is because
he is very pleased with the results so far and wishes to retain or maintain the interest of potential investors by providing progress updates as quickly as possible.

Please, everyone on the fence about
investing, just put in a couple of hundred bucks
to keep him going, keep his spirits up.

You'll be in early, and doing something to
improve the world. If its all a bust in the end , big deal, its only
a small amount of money. If 200 people put in $200 each,
we'd have a $40,000 pot added to a project that is already
in its very advanced stages. What a huge boost of power that
would be. We'd see this thing surging forward. It would be like
turbocharging a car that was already fast.

Christmas Greetings to All!

I apologize for not providing an update earlier but I have been very busy in the lab working on the scooter project trying to get it on the road for testing in early January.

We are at close to 100 recharge Watts with acceleration and the generator begins to self accelerate itself at only 1000 RPM. New stronger magnets ought to increase this to at least 150 Watts or more and once the new magnets are installed we will do a road test! The prototype will be mounted on the scooter next week for stationary tests. (I will provide a video once ASAP).


We are also working on two methods to motorize the generator:

1. Electronically &
2. Mechanically with a commutator shown below in the yellow motor.

Once all the details have been sorted out the generator will be scaled down to fit inside the scooter hub motor rear wheel.

Thanks for keeping this thread updated. I've been very intrigued by this invention. I don't honestly understand how it works, as pulling charge off the back emf should put load on the system in excess of the energy input to the motor, but that's where the invention is!

Just a quick question -- is this your project or are you just reporting on it?
