Hi Mac, I've come across a couple of points on my researches which may or may not be relevant, but they're new to me so here goes. 

 

First was the other day when I saw an episode of The Real Jesus of Nazareth, with Robert Powell (who starred in the famous 70s series Jesus of Nazareth), where he visits Israel-Palestine and talks to various experts. Most of it was pretty conventional, but one bit about the family trade made me sit up. They said the word translated as carpenter really means builder, and that Joseph and his sons were more likely to have been stonemasons than carpenters, or at least masonry would have been one of their main skills. And I've always wondered why the secret society network chose masonry in particular for cover, when there's so many other trades they could have chosen. Perhaps it's to link with the building traditions of the Templars. 

 

Secondly I was reading in wiki about the Davidic Line, to find out what happened to it after they went into exile during the Roman period. There's various claimants to the kingship, and some travelled into Europe in the middle ages, to Spain and Southern France. The history after that becomes harder to follow, and these claims are probably impossible to verify, but to have family bloodlines who believe themselves to be Jewish royalty, and continued belief in the Messiah / Moshiach gets me wondering if there's secret societies protecting the bloodlines and biding their time until they come out into the open and claim the messiahship rather like Sabbatai Zevi did in the 17th C.

yes the bible says he was a 'tecton' which means a craftsman. An archi-tecton is the overseer of a project which today gives us the word 'architect'

 

The symbology of freemasonry is that the initiate is equated to a rough unhewn stone from a quarry who by degrees is taken through a process of initiation much like a stone is as it is shaped, into a smooth ashlar block; the initiate becomes a spiritualised man.

 

Many ancient temples are shaped like humans and our own physiology can be seen as a temple for example the sides of your skull are known as the 'temples' and the mound outside jerusalem where jesus was crucified was known as golgotha which means the place of the skull.

 

So in the outer, physical temples we can see human beings taken through inner processes that reshape their consciousness and through the process of epigenetics it is also possible to change people on the level of their genes.

 

On a macro level an order could be seen to be building their own society with each individual forming a block within that and on the micro level a person could be said to be building their own spiritual temple within themselves. Jesus was building peoples spiritual temples. When he turned 'water into wine' he initiated someone through an alchemical process of spiritual transformation much like later alchemists spoke allegorically of turning lead into gold. When lazarus was raised from the 'dead' he was brought back into the spiritualised life having lapsed: born again.

 

Being born again into a new state of consciousness is one of the most ancient practises of human beings.

Certainly something happened when the crusades kicked off in 1096. By travelling to 'antique lands', so to speak, the crusaders saw other architectural styles; for example i think they brought back the lancet arch. The 'gothic' (goetic?) style started soon after this in saint denis, paris which saw the use of buttressing to make giant, airy light boxes. The crusaders who travelled overland would have passed through constantinople and would have seen the church of hagia sophia which used semi-circles supporting a dome to create a roof with a huge span:

 

 

Something creative really sparked at that time and encoded within the cathedrals of europe are alchemical symbology and sacred geometry. The templars may have seen themselves as being in the lineage of the warrior masons of zerubbabel who returned to judah, from babylon and constructed the second temple. They requested permission from the king of jerusalem to set up their HQ on temple mount and they dug into it suggesting that they already knew that there was something there to be retrieved. A thousand years prior many jews had fled the temple as the roman army approached who sacked the city in 70AD. Its very possible that in the rush valuable things were buried if they could not have been easily transported. This was a common practice and it's why metal detectorists are always finding lost hoards because someone in the past buried something valuable during a time of peril and for whatever reason never returned to retrieve it.

 

Whatever it was the templars found they went from becoming a small unit of 9 knights to being a huge organisation that could be said to be the worlds first trans-national corporation. That discovery of something in the temple mount was passed down in freemasonic ritual until it was overwritten.

the jews had trading posts all around the Mediterranean sea and they had a colony a million strong in cairo where the biggest slave markets were. Egypt also had a strong heritage of occult sciences: it was the land of khem (alchemy). So if we imagine that powerful priestly and royal bloodlines fled jerusalem to avoid the siege of the romans they had many options of where to go eg Ephesus in turkey which has biblical links to Mary as well as an incredible library (the shell of which is still standing) or Marseilles in the south of france.

 

In the south of france we see various gnostic movements suddenly spring up as well as legends about mary magdelene. One theory is that those elites used their connections amongst wealthy jewish merchants to establish themselves in the south of france and overtime they intermarried with frankish nobility whilst maintaining their kabbalistic practices in secret societies. Those bloodlines were through intrigue, tactical marriages, political assassinations and orchestrated coups able to get themselves onto the thrones of europe.

 

The stewart family in scotland from which the british royals have lineage claimed to be descended from King david of the bible. This is where they claimed their 'divine right to rule' that we heard in school history lessons about the civil war etc. The harp in the royal crest is the harp of david. Meanwhile in france a jewish kingdom was created in narbonne and they brought over an exilarch from irag who claimed lineage from david:

Makhir ben Havivai was a Babylonian-Jewish scholar, a descendant of the House of David, and the leader of the Jewish community of Narbonne in southern Gaul at the end of the eighth century. His descendants were for many generations the nasi or leaders of that community, and Carolingian client-kings in Septimania. Zuckerman suggested he was identical with Maghario (recte Magnario), Count of Narbonne in 791. However, that Magnario was probably Meginarius, a Frank, counselor to Louis the Pious in Aquitaine about 794.

Makhir belonged to the family of Exilarchs of the Jews at Babylon. The 12th century scholar Abraham ibn Daud says Charlemagne exchanged embassies with the Caliph of Baghdad, Harun al-Rashid, in 797 and 801 (as his father had with Caliph al-Mansur in 765-768) (Sefer ha-Kaballah). Charlemagne requested a prince of the house of David and was sent Makhir. However, it seems more probable that Makhir was sent to Charlemagne's father, Pépin the Short, who in 768 promised the Jews of Barcelona the right to be governed by a Jewish king in exchange for their help against the Arab rulers of the city. There is precedent for this since Makhir's grandfather was Resh Kallah of the Jews of Carcassonne who assisted Charles Martel in preparations for the Battle of Tours.

Makhir became Exilarch and Nasi (Prince) of the Jewish community at Narbonne (Septimania). He founded a Talmudic school that is said to have rivaled those in Babylon. Writings by Abraham ibn Daud

According to a tradition preserved by Abraham ibn Daud in his Sefer ha-Qabbalah, written about 1161, Makhir was a descendant of the house of David. Ibn Daud wrote:

Then King Charles sent to the King of Baghdad [Caliph] requesting that he dispatch one of his Jews of the seed of royalty of the House of David. He hearkened and sent him one from there, a magnate and sage, Rabbi Makhir by name. And [Charles] settled him in Narbonne, the capital city, and planted him there, and gave him a great possession there at the time he captured it from the Ishmaelites [Arabs]. And he [Makhir] took to wife a woman from among the magnates of the town; *...* and the King made him a nobleman and designed, out of love for [Makhir], good statutes for the benefit of all the Jews dwelling in the city, as is written and sealed in a Latin charter; and the seal of the King therein [bears] his name Carolus; and it is in their possession at the present time. The Prince Makhir became chieftain there. He and his descendants were close [inter-related] with the King and all his descendants.

Whatever Makhir's Babylon origins claimed by his descendants, the relation between Makhir and Charlemagne is legendary, the more famous king substituting for his father Pepin, king of the Franks, who in order to enlist the Jews of Narbonne in his efforts to keep the Ummayad Saracens at bay, granted wide-ranging powers in return for the surrender of Moorish Narbonne to him in 759. The monkish Annals of Aniane and the Chronicle of Moissac both attribute this action to the Gothic leaders of Narbonne, rising up and massacring the Saracen garrison. Pepin with his sons Carloman and Charles redeemed this pledge in 768, granting to Makhir and his heirs extensive lands, an act that called forth an unavailing protest from Pope Stephen III.[1] In 791 Charlemagne confirmed the status of the Jewish Principate and made the title of Nasi permanent.[2]

The Makhir family enjoyed for centuries many privileges and that its members bore the title of "nasi" (prince). Benjamin of Tudela, who visited Narbonne in 1165, speaks of the exalted position occupied by the descendants of Makhir, and the "Royal Letters" of 1364 [3] also record the existence of a rex Iudaeorum at Narbonne. The place of residence of the Makhir family at Narbonne was designated in official documents as "Cortada Regis Judæorum" [4]. Makhir is said to have founded a Talmudic school there which vied in greatness with those of Babylonia and which attracted pupils from many distant points.

Arthur Zuckerman maintains that Makhir was actually identical with Natronai ben Habibi, an exilarch deposed and exiled in a dispute between two branches of the family of Bostanai in the late eighth century.[5] Zuckerman further proposed that Makhir(/Natronai) is to be identified with a Maghario, Count of Narbonne, and in turn with an Aymeri de Narbonne, whom heroic poetry marries to Alda or Aldana, daughter of Charles Martel, and makes father of William of Gellone. This William was subject of at least six major epic poems composed before the era of the Crusades, including Willehalm by Wolfram von Eschenbach, the most famous of the medieval Grail chroniclers. His historical counterpart, William I, Count of Toulouse led Frankish forces at the fall of Barcelona in 803. The account of the campaign in Ermold Niger's Latin poem dates the events according to the Jewish calendar and portrays William as an observant Jew.[2] Count William was son of a Frankish Count of Septimania named Theoderic, leading Zuckerman to conclude that Theoderic was none other than Makhir, and that the well-documented descendants of Theoderic embodied a dynasty of Franco-Judeic kings of Narbonne, representing the union of the lineage of the exilarchs with that of Martel's Carolingians.

Makhir ruled during a temptestuous period. As the Mohammedans had moved up into the peninsula, a number of Visigoths and lower-class Hispani had crossed the Pyrenees into Septimania. Though the Mohammedans established a tenuous subordination of Septimania in their destructive raids between 718 and 732, they [35] were unable to extend their control permanently beyond the Pyrenees for reasons discussed in the foregoing chapter.   Frankish counterattacks from the north, followed by the outbreak of civil war among the Mohammedans, quickly altered the balance of power. After 742, part of Septimania renounced its tributary status, though the remaining Gothic overlords in Septimania sometimes preferred distant association with Córdoba to Frankish domination. In 756 Narbonne, the largest town in the region, acknowledged the sovereignty of the Frankish monarchy, which soon incorporated all the territory down to the Pyrenees.

Charlemagne attempted to roll back the Muslim frontier by extending a Frankish protectorate over northeast Hispania at the behest of anti-Umayyad Muslim dissidents. In 778 a Frankish expedition against Zaragoza failed, but in 785 the Christian inhabitants of Gerona, in the northeastern corner of the peninsula, accepted Frankish suzerainty. In a series of limited campaigns fought between 785 and 811, Franks occupied and fortified the strongpoints of the southern Pyrenean foothills. The eastern and central Pyrenean regions were then organized on the Frankish principle into six counties -- Urgel, Pallars, Barcelona (seized in 801), Ribagorza, Sobrarbe, and Aragón -- under the Frankish monarchy.

Report details how a handful of Corporations are taking control of the World’s Food Supply

A report published at the end of 2022 by The ETC Group reveals how a handful of corporations with the help of Big Tech are taking over the world’s food supply. 

The report, titled ‘Food Barons 2022 – Crisis Profiteering, Digitalization and Shifting Power’, offers a snapshot of the world’s “Food Barons” – the biggest players up and down the industrial food and agriculture chain. It examines the leading corporations that control each of 11 key industrial agrifood sectors: seeds, agrochemicals, livestock genetics, synthetic fertilizers, farm machinery, animal pharmaceuticals, commodity traders, food processors, Big Meat, grocery retail and food delivery.

The findings show that many agrifood sectors are now so “top-heavy” they are controlled by just four to six dominant firms, enabling these companies to wield enormous influence over markets, agricultural research and policy development, which undermines food sovereignty.

Unfortunately, the report pays lip service to the World Economic Forum/United Nations’ false climate change narrative and it also favours racial justice.  What exactly is meant by “racial justice” is unclear.  If it is a show of solidarity with the “social justice warriors” of the neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory – the dominant ideology behind the Black Lives Matter social movement – this is again unfortunate.  However, a misguided belief in these ideologies has not affected the essence and integrity of the report even though the authors cite an understanding of the relationship between the two as part of the basis of the report:

The analysis in this report is based on understanding the relationship between racial justice and climate change and how extractive agriculture disproportionately impacts people of colour and Indigenous communities. [emphasis our own]

The report is a comprehensive review packed with important qualitative and quantitative information such as the digitalisation of agriculture and tables showing the dominant corporations in each agrifood sector.  We briefly highlight these below.

The report also details important and often overlooked topics such as:

• New Techno-Fixes: 1) Gene Editing; 2) RNA Pesticide Sprays (pg. 27); and,
• The (bio)digital takeover of food and agriculture (pg. 130).

We don’t go into these sections of the report here but they are a must-read for anyone who feels the use of these technologies is in any way beneficial.

SARAH VINE: The Tavistock scandal shows what happens when debate is stifled and good people are branded bigots for speaking out

A few years ago, when Keira Bell won her case in the High Court against the Tavistock and Portman’s gender identity service (GIDS), I remember thinking: this is just the start.

Aged 16, Bell had been prescribed puberty blockers to ‘pause’ her physical development. Six years later, having undergone irreversible treatment, including a double mastectomy, she realised it had been a monumental mistake. She wasn’t trans at all, just — as she herself put it — ‘very mentally ill’.

Together with the mother of an autistic girl on the waiting list for similar treatment, Bell brought her case to highlight what she and others, including several professionals at the Tavistock, believed amounted to medical malpractice.

This, they suggested, was being driven by ideology — and supported by a culture of intimidation that acted as a barrier to proper assessment and treatment of children like her.

The court in Bell’s case found the Tavistock’s policies and practices were not unlawful. But that does not detract from the concerns I and many others have about how the clinic treated her and other children.

Children who, yes, had complex needs and issues, who were struggling with problems such as body dysmorphia and eating disorders, but for whom the answer wasn’t necessarily gender reassignment.

Needless to say, Keira Bell was branded a ‘traitor’ to the trans cause. Whistleblowers at the Tavistock were immediately tarred as transphobic.

But the truth is, she’s heroic. Because it’s in no small part thanks to her that the wider conversation around gender identity ceased being so one-sided, and that the prevailing ‘rainbows and unicorns’ narrative has, at last, been challenged.

Of course, some children really are trans — and benefit hugely from getting help with transitioning. Ironically, they have now lost a clinic designed to assist them, thanks to the stupidity and short-sightedness of ideologues.

We are now approaching — albeit cautiously — a place where politicians and professionals should at the very least be able to question certain practices without being dismissed as bigots.

That said, as we have seen from the recent debate around Nicola Sturgeon’s ill-thought-out self-identification legislation, a lot of people are still afraid of tackling the gender ideologues. And understandably so: the activists are very powerful and some are very persuasive.

They dominate social media, targeting the young and impressionable, casting themselves as the enemies of old-fashioned and outdated values; pioneers of a newer, more progressive age of self-expression and tolerance.

Some present themselves as harmless entertainers. Others have a more direct agenda, proffering gender reassignment as an easy, fun and, in some cases, lucrative lifestyle choice.

Provided no one challenges them, they are all sweetness and light. Express even a bat-squeak of concern, however, and they can be utterly vicious. Witness the recent ‘decapitate Terfs’ placards at pro-Sturgeon rallies in Scotland.

Israeli security expert behind worldwide election manipulation efforts - report

Israeli security expert and founder of Demomam International Tal Hanan found to head a team working to manipulate global politics.

A team of Israeli contractors is responsible for having manipulated more than 30 elections around the world through hacking, sabotage and automated misinformation, The Guardian has revealed after an in-depth investigation.

 

In an article published early Wednesday morning, The Guardian reported that a team of Israeli operatives has been working under Israeli security expert Tal Hanan, a 50-year-old former special forces operative and CEO of Demomam International, to manipulate election outcomes in dozens of countries over the last two decades.

 

Working under the codename "Team Jorge," the operatives offer their services to those looking to meddle in elections worldwide, as well as to corporate clients, the investigation revealed. 

According to the investigation, the software known as Advanced Impact Media Solutions (AIMS) controls over 30,000 fake social media profiles all of which can be used to spread disinformation or propaganda far and wide at extraordinary speed.

t first glance, the Twitter user “Canaelan” looks ordinary enough. He has tweeted on everything from basketball to Taylor Swift, Tottenham Hotspur football club to the price of a KitKat. The profile shows a friendly-looking blond man with a stubbly beard and glasses who, it indicates, lives in Sheffield. The background: a winking owl.

Canaelan is, in fact, a non-human bot linked to a vast army of fake social media profiles controlled by a software designed to spread “propaganda”.

 

Advanced Impact Media Solutions, or Aims, which controls more than 30,000 fake social media profiles, can be used to spread disinformation at scale and at speed. It is sold by “Team Jorge”, a unit of disinformation operatives based in Israel.

Tal Hanan, who runs the covert group using the pseudonym “Jorge”, told undercover reporters that they sold access to their software to unnamed intelligence agencies, political parties and corporate clients. One appears to have been sold to a client who wanted to discredit the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), a statutory watchdog.

On 18 October 2020, the ICO ruled that the government should reveal which companies were awarded multimillion-pound contracts to supply PPE after being entered into a “VIP” lane for politically connected companies. “This is politically motivated, it’s clear!” Canaelan lamented on Twitter two days later.

That comment was part of a chorus of disapproval generated by the bots, who seemed aghast. “Information Commissioner tries everything to destroy the government,” one said, while another described the ruling as a “desperate act”.

 

All of the “replies” under that and other tweets were united in their outrage at the ICO, which they described as “a waste of time” and “lame”. As the replies continued, they became more trenchant, making wild and false accusations against the ICO about bribes, corruption and links to the far right.

Others just seemed nonplussed by the ICO’s insistence on transparency over the government’s pandemic procurement. “This is so typical from the UK …” one bot opined, “focusing on the wrong things.”

It is not known who commissioned Team Jorge to unleash the bots on the ICO, or why. Hanan did not respond to detailed requests for comment but said: “To be clear, I deny any wrongdoing.”

The ICO campaign appears to have been relatively short-lived compared with others around the world that reporters have been able to link to Team Jorge’s Aims software, which is much more than a bot-controlling programme.

Each avatar, according to a demonstration Hanan gave the undercover reporters, is given a multifaceted digital backstory.

Aims enables the creation of accounts on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Telegram, Gmail, Instagram and YouTube. Some even have Amazon accounts with credit cards, bitcoin wallets and Airbnb accounts.

Hanan told the undercover reporters his avatars mimicked human behaviour and their posts were powered by artificial intelligence.

Using the Aims-linked avatars revealed by Team Jorge in presentations and videos, reporters at the Guardian, Le Monde and Der Spiegel were able to identify a much wider network of 2,000 Aims-linked bots on Facebook and Twitter.

From Pegasus to Blue Wolf: How Israel’s ‘Surveillance’ Experiment in Palestine Went Global

On November 8, The Washington Post revealed an Israeli mass surveillance operation, which uses ‘Blue Wolf’ technology to create a massive database of all Palestinians.

This additional measure gives soldiers the chance to, using their own cameras, take pictures of as many Palestinians as possible and match “them to a database of images so extensive that one former soldier described it as the army’s secret ‘Facebook for Palestinians.’”

We know very little about this new ‘Facebook for Palestinians’, aside from what has been revealed in the news. However, we know that Israeli soldiers compete to take as many photos of Palestinian faces as possible, as those with the highest number of photos could potentially receive certain rewards, the nature of which remains unclear.

While the ‘Blue Wolf’ story is receiving some attention in international media, it offers nothing new for Palestinians. To be a Palestinian living under occupation is to carry multiple permits and magnetic cards, to pass various clearances, to have your photo taken regularly, to have your movement monitored, to be ready to answer any question about your friends, your family, co-workers and acquaintances. When that is impractical, because, say, you live under siege in Gaza, then the work is entrusted to unmanned drones scanning sky, earth and sea.

The reason that ‘Blue Wolf’ is receiving some traction in the media is that Israel has been recently implicated in one of the world’s greatest espionage operations.

Pegasus is a type of malware that spies on iPhones and Android devices, to extract photos, messages, emails and record calls. Tens of thousands of people around the world, many of whom are prominent activists, journalists, officials, business leaders and alike, have fallen victim to this operation. Unsurprisingly, Pegasus is produced by the Israeli technology firm, the NSO Group, whose products are heavily involved in the monitoring of and spying on Palestinians, as confirmed by the Dublin-based Front Line Defenders, and as reported in the New York Times on November 8.

Sadly, the Israeli unlawful and undemocratic practices became a subject of international condemnation when the victims were high-ranking personalities, the likes of French President Emmanuel Macron and others. When Palestinians were on the other end of Israeli spying, surveillance and racial profiling, the story seemed unworthy of reporting.

A measure of this is the fact that, by 2021, one-third of the cabinet – including then-Prime Minister Boris Johnson – were directly funded by the Israeli government or pro-Israel organizations. Chief amongst these groups is the Conservative Friends of Israel, who have claimed that 80% of Tory members of parliament belong to their organization.

The Israel lobby has been able to shape government policy, to the point where they blocked Boris Johnson’s appointment of Alan Duncan to the post of Middle East Minister. Johnson, according to Duncan, was “indignant”. “They shouldn’t behave like this”, the prime minister reportedly said about the Israelis, but acquiesced to their demands. “The Israelis think they control the Foreign Office. And they do”, Duncan later wrote. Home Secretary Priti Patel (a longtime champion of the apartheid state) also secretly flew to Israel for “off the radar” talks with Netanyahu – a huge breach of ministerial codes, for which she later resigned.

The Israeli Embassy also played a key role in the coordinated smear campaign demonizing Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, an operation that helped to ensure Johnson’s electoral victory in 2019.

In addition to this, there have also been national security questions raised about the extent to which Israeli businessmen have bought up key British industries. Last year, for example, Patrick Drahi’s attempt to purchase 18% of BT, the formerly state-owned telecoms giant that owns and controls much of the country’s telecommunications infrastructure, was put on hold due to concerns over national security.

That a company like Oracle that defines itself so explicitly as pro-Israel raises serious concerns over the nature of the work they do for the United Kingdom or any other nation. How can the Ministry of Defence or the Home Office’s data be considered uncompromised in these hands?

The CIA in all but name

“The Oracle database is used to keep track of basically everything,” Ellison once said, adding,

The information about your banks, your checking balance, your savings balance, is stored in an Oracle database. Your airline reservation is stored in an Oracle database. What books you bought on Amazon is stored in an Oracle database. Your profile on Yahoo! is stored in an Oracle database.”

This should be of concern to everyone, as Oracle itself started off as a project for the Central Intelligence Agency. Indeed, Ellison named his company after Project Oracle, a 1970s CIA operation he worked on.

“Our very first customer was the Central Intelligence Agency,” Ellison boasted, telling the story of how, in 1977, the CIA commissioned his firm to build them a database. From there, Ellison immediately began pitching to other wings of the national security state, and within months had secured contracts with Navy Intelligence, Air Force Intelligence and the NSA. The bottomless pit of money available for the military has helped turn Oracle from a tiny operation to a $46 billion dollar per year behemoth.

One of Oracle’s largest deals cam in 2020, when it was part of a consortium that won a 15-year contract with the CIA and the other 16 U.S. intelligence agencies said to be with tens of billions of dollars.

Part of the reason the CIA trusts Oracle is that the company’s upper echelons are filled with ex-CIA executives. A case in point is former CIA Director and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who was appointed to the company’s board in 2015. David Carney, who spent 32 years at the agency, rising to become its third-in-command, also joined Oracle, heading up its information assurance center.

Indeed, on its own website, Oracle aggressively recruits CIA agents, sharing stories of former spooks who have gone on to succeed in its ranks. One of those is Senior Technical Program Manager Andrew C. “As an Intelligence Officer in the US Navy, as well as in the CIA, Andrew has had to lead, build teams, and work on fast-breaking projects, all things Oracle requires on a regular basis,” Oracle writes, before actively encouraging other agents to apply,

The revolving door between Oracle and the CIA also swings the other way, with Oracle staff finding employment in Langley, VA.

The Silicon Valley giant also works closely with the U.S. military. “Oracle Cloud is advancing Department of Defense mission success”, it boasts on its website. Oracle notes that it is “delivering real-time intel to warfighters”, thereby “securing command and control at the tactical edge.” Thus, by the company’s own telling, it is a centerpiece of both the military-industrial-complex and the national security state. Big media outlets agree: “Larry Ellison is a billionaire today thanks to the CIA” concluded Business Insider.

 

Surveillance State

If Ellison had his way, however, Oracle would be an even more crucial part of a greatly expanded national security state. In the immediate wake of the September 11 attacks, he flew in for a series of meetings with top Bush-era officials, including NSA chief Michael Hayden and Attorney General John Ashcroft. There, he likely pitched an idea he had been promoting for some time: a single, comprehensive national security database that collected every piece of information possible to identify someone, from thumbprints and iris scans to medical history and social security details. “The single greatest step we Americans could take to make life tougher for terrorists would be to ensure that all the information in myriad government databases was copied into a single, comprehensive national security database,” he insisted.

In the end, even the Bush administration balked at such a sweeping project. Nevertheless, Oracle has deeply ingratiated itself into the world of policing and surveillance. In 2012, at the height of an anti-NATO demonstration, U.S. law enforcement used Oracle’s Endeca software to match protestors’ tweets with data about their criminal records, 911 calls and other information to pre-arrest demonstration leaders before the action took off.

Since then, Oracle has sold the same or similar software to authorities in Europe, South America, the Middle East and China. Job listings for developers at Guantánamo Bay also note that familiarity with Endeca and Oracle software is a desired trait.

Oracle is far from the only Silicon Valley giant with questionable ties to intelligence. Here at MintPress, we have exposed how Facebook’s top ranks are filled with former FBI and CIA agents, how ex-Israeli spies have found roles working for Microsoft and Google, and uncovered what we termed a “NATO to TikTok pipeline.”

Yet the openness with which Oracle and Ellison work with the Israeli state to further its interests should be highly concerning to those working in national security. Israel already has a long history of using its tech industry to surveil and eavesdrop on foreign governments.

Can it really be a wise idea for the United Kingdom to entrust its most sensitive government, health and defense data to a company with such close ties to the Israeli government?

So far, Great Britain has overlooked the potential grave national security threat this poses. Surely this cannot continue indefinitely.

The Department of Justice officially declined to charge Florida Rep Matt Gaetz in a sex trafficking investigation on Wednesday after leaked texts revealed the Israeli government appeared to be implicated in a $25 million extortion plot targeting Gaetz's family.

The Justice Department has formally decided not to charge firebrand Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz in a sex trafficking investigation, the lawmaker's lawyers said Wednesday.

"We have just spoken with the DOJ and have been informed that they have concluded their investigation into Congressman Gaetz and allegations related to sex trafficking and obstruction of justice, and they have determined not to bring any charges against him," attorneys Marc Mukasey and Isabelle Kirshner said.

Gaetz's office also issued a brief statement acknowledging the Justice Department's contact with the lawmaker's attorneys.

The department did not immediately comment. The decision was first reported by CNN.

As part of a plea agreement, Greenberg was sentenced to 11 years in prison for sex trafficking of a minor and other offenses. He pleaded guilty to six federal crimes, including identity theft, stalking, wire fraud and conspiracy to bribe a public official. Prosecutors said he paid at least one girl to have sex with him and other men.

Joel Greenberg, a potential Jeffrey Epstein-esque figure who had worked as a tax collector for Seminole County, Florida, appears to have tried to entrap Gaetz into having sex with a 17-year-old girl for blackmail purposes.

Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested on multiple counts of fraud after billions of dollars went missing from his cryptocurrency exchange FTX.  It’s still unknown how much money went missing.

When we found that the government’s case against SBF was initiated out of the DOJ’s corrupt Southern District of New York (SDNY) we knew the fix was in.  The SDNY is the same district that brought charges against innocent We Build the Wall (WBTW) figures in a political hit.  The attorneys in the SDNY were certainly not going to prosecute SBF in the same manner they went after WBTW patriots.  They certainly weren’t going to look into FTX’s activities in Ukraine and with the Democrats as well. 

We also found that the first judge over the case had conflicts of interest and still she allowed SBF to spend the holidays at his parents’ house in California, flying first class there.

Then when the first judge recused herself for her conflicts with FTX, the next judge placed over the case is Bill Clinton appointed Judge Lewis Kaplan.

Kaplan has allowed the unfounded rape case against President Trump to move forward.   Based on her interview on CNN, the accuser appears certifiable.  But this Clinton Judge allowed it to move forward. 

We’ve learned that in addition to being run in the SDNY and having a Clinton judge, the prosecuting attorney in SBF’s case is a Joe Biden-appointed Soros-related attorney who recently oversaw the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

Damian Williams was appointed by Joe Biden to the SDNY in 2021.  He’s a Democrat who worked for John Kerry’s campaign in 2004.  He then attended Yale where he was supported by the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans.  Williams was also a law clerk for Merrick Garland.

What are the odds that all these connections are overseeing the SBF case?  With these bad actors, what are the odds they find the billions of dollars that are currently missing?

Kramer has publicly spoken about the Bankman-Frieds, described by NYTimes as a family friend...

“I had a friend who said, ‘You don’t want to be seen with them,’” said Larry Kramer, a former dean of the law school and a close friend of the Bankman-Fried family.

“I don’t see how this doesn’t bankrupt them.”

The identities of the guarantors were released on Wednesday after Judge Lewis A. Kaplan ruled in favor of an application from various media organizations, including Bloomberg, objecting to the information being kept a secret.

Which leaves us with one simple question - how the fuck did these Stanford faculty members get so rich as to guarantee that size of a bail?

Under the terms of the bail package - which prosecutors said was one of the largest pretrial bonds in US history - the guarantors were to be “of considerable means” and one of them couldn’t be a relative. 

It turns out, according to Bloomberg reporting, that Kramer and Paepcke had signed on as sureties for separate bonds of only $500,000 and $200,000, respectively.

This is the story of how a multibillionaire who has dedicated his life to advancing the cause of the Israeli national security state is now in control of Great Britain’s most sensitive public and military data.

In 2020, software giant Oracle won a gigantic contract with the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) to provide it with cloud infrastructure, digital assistance, data visualization software, mobile hub and development tools. The military is far from the only British institution entrusting its most sensitive data to the Texas-based firm, however. The Home Office, Office of National Statistics and National Health Service, among others, also rely on Oracle databases to function.

For years before signing the MoD agreement, Oracle founder Larry Ellison had been ingratiating himself with the British establishment, employing all manner of well-connected individuals at his foundation. Among these included media executive and father-in-law of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Matthew Symonds, who earned over $600,000 per year as the executive director of the Larry Ellison Foundation. Richard Meredith, a longtime director of the U.K.’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, was also snapped up at a similar salary to become deputy executive director.

Many other well-connected British government officials, including Vel Gnanendran, went straight from the Larry Ellison Foundation into the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and worked there at the time that the body signed off on the lucrative Oracle contracts. For years, the Larry Ellison Foundation also bankrolled the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, the former U.K. prime minister’s new political project.

Yet, just after as the partnership with the Ministry of Defence was secured, Ellison abruptly shut down his foundation, prompting speculation that it had fulfilled its purpose.

 

“Our mission to support Israel”

Why this should be of concern is that both Ellison and key Oracle figures have made clear that their business model is less about making money, and more focused on furthering the interests of the Israeli national security state.

Furthermore, few people realize how important Oracle is to the functioning of the modern world. It is the third-largest software company globally. Yet because it sells its products to businesses and governments rather than consumers, it is far less known than competitors such as Microsoft or Amazon. Nevertheless, it is as important to the modern hi-tech economy as its rivals, its software and databases powering the likes of Netflix, Zoom, financial corporations such as JPMorgan Chase, as well as a myriad of educational institutions.

While opening a new data center in Jerusalem in 2021, the company’s Israeli-American CEO, Safra Catz, laid out Oracle’s purpose, stating,

We are not flexible regarding our mission, and our commitment to Israel is second to none. This is a free world and I love my employees, and if they don’t agree with our mission to support the State of Israel, then maybe we aren’t the right company for them. Larry [Ellison] and I are publicly committed to Israel and devote personal time to the country, and no one should be surprised by that.”

Catz made the comments in response to a question about Israel’s poor human rights record and the rebellion of Silicon Valley employees refusing to facilitate the country’s war crimes. In 2017, Catz was offered the position of U.S. Director of National Intelligence.

The British government has been accused of squandering hard-earned money from the public by splashing out £2.8 billion on management consultants last year, alone.

While the government in Westminster demanded that Britons suffer under the largest tax burden since World War II — to pay down the massive debt accrued during the government-imposed lockdowns — billions in taxpayer cash was being handed out to private consultants to advise the government on a range of issues, including the illegal boat migrant crisis in the English Channel.

Quadrupling the amount spent on consultants from just six years ago, 2022 saw consultants rake in a staggering £2.8 billion in contracts from the government, The Times reported. The London-based broadsheet revealed that six companies were each given at least £100 million in government deals, while the firm Deloitte led the pack receiving approximately £278 million.

A woman who rose to prominence in the US social justice movement, landing a job as chief equity, inclusion and culture officer with a left-wing activist group, has reportedly misrepresented her ethnic background for years, hiding the fact that she’s white.

Raquel Evita Saraswati, a Muslim LGBTQ activist and senior staffer at the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC), has claimed for years to be of Latina, South Asian and Arab descent. The Intercept reported on Thursday that those claims are now being questioned by other AFSC members, who fear that she’s working on behalf of groups that seek to undermine her organization.

Saraswati was born Rachel Elizabeth Seidel, according to her mother, Carole Perone. Her parents are both of European descent.

“I call her Rachel,” Perone told the Intercept. “I don’t know why she’s doing this.”

“I’m as white as the driven snow, and so is she,” added Perone, who shared photographs of her daughter with the media outlet but asked that they not be published. The Intercept said Saraswati’s complexion in the pictures was far whiter than the bronzed look she’s had in recent years.

A controversial transgender clinic is still treating children with puberty blockers despite the NHS having ordered it to close, it has emerged.

London-based Tavistock Centre was ordered to close it doors in July after a damning report found it was 'not safe' for children. The clinic, which opened in the 1980s, was criticised for allegedly rushing teenagers onto life-altering puberty blocking drugs.

But up to 1,000 children are still 'receiving treatment' at the facility and about 8,000 remain on the waiting list for the Gender Identity Development Service (Gids), The Sunday Times revealed.

Tavistock was ordered to close by Spring 2023. NHS England aimed to establish a replacement service in both London and Manchester, but plans to do so have reportedly stalled.

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio – Days after crews released and burned toxic chemicals carried by a train that wrecked in Ohio, residents were concerned about toxic substances that could be lingering in their evacuated neighborhoods.

About 50 cars, including 10 carrying hazardous materials, derailed in a fiery crash Friday in East Palestine, according to rail operator Norfolk Southern and the National Transportation Safety Board.

Vinyl chloride was released into the air Monday from five of those cars before crews ignited it to get rid of the highly flammable toxic chemicals in a controlled environment, creating a dark plume of smoke.

Residents in the immediate area there and nearby in Pennsylvania were evacuated because of health risks from the fumes and had not been allowed to return as of Wednesday.

Then a poster here mentioned that the government is trialing air raid type sirens that would go off on everyones smart phones to alert them to a national disaster and they were speculating that the signal itself could be a trigger of some sort. I checked it out and sure enough the BBC ran a piece on the siren being trialled back in 2021. I've been on the planet now a bunch of decades and seen wars and 911 and the 'war on terror' and the 7/7 bombings and yet there has never been deemed to be a reason that there would need to be some widespread alert sent out across everyones phones that would scare the heck out of them! So why now? Its not like it is even because of the threat of nuclear war with russia because they were trialing it before the ukrainian crisis. I guess the text sent out to everyone telling them to get the covid jab was just a sign of the times to come.

 

I've speculated in this thread about a 'kill switch' idea but other than that i can't think what a signal could be used for. The guy speaking to reinhard mentioned 'predictive programming' and the profusion of zombie movies and TV shows there has been in recent years and there's no denying that there has been something of a zombie glut.

Test text message warning of world war to be sent to your mobile in weeks

A disaster alert that warns the public about the outbreak of war or a pandemic will be tested for the first time within weeks.

A "national warning message" will be sent directly to every mobile phone across Britain later this month or in early March.

Before the alert is sent a publicity campaign will warn people to expect it and not to panic when they get it.

Officials say the test may be the only time a nationwide message is sent but it will demonstrate that the new system is capable of reaching every part of the country.

Alerts can also be limited to specific areas by controlling which mobile phone masts they broadcast from. In practice the system is expected to be used for local "extreme weather warnings" such as flood alerts.

The Government previously sent out a national text message at the start of the Covid crisis in March 2020, ordering people to stay at home, but this was only possible with assistance from mobile phone operators. Rather than sending a text, the new emergency alert uses an app included in Android and Apple iPhone operating systems.

This can be turned off in phone settings, although it is thought many phone owners won't even know they have it installed.

One of the benefits is that the system is not affected by the number of people making phone calls, which is likely to increase if they believe an emergency is imminent.

The message can include a link to a website which provides more information. A source said: "Hopefully this will be the only time we ever need to send a nationwide message."

The British Constitution part 8: is government immoral and is all tax theft?

 

Mark passio would certainly say so! He has an image of a pyramid and at the top is anarchy (no rulers) and the stage below that is libertarianism, in which i guess you could put constitutionalists. The ancient common law is essentially that you can do what you want as long as you don't hurt others. I guess the grey area then comes in when people don't abide by that.

 

All this talk of the constitution has really taken off because of the behaviours of the state during the covid pseudo-pandemic as people begin to really explore just what their rights are. Do legislators dictate our rights to us or are we born with inalienable rights? I once heard libertarianism described, in a nutshell, as the belief that the individual can do what they like as long as they don't harm others. People who subscribe to such views vary on how much 'government' is then required to uphold that whilst anarchists argue that ANY form of rule is immoral and therefore ANY form of government is immoral and as government is immoral its insistence on tax from the people is therefore a form of theft as it is taking property from people against their will.

 

No doubt the cabal are going to push the boundaries further sooner rather than later but will enough people have gotten to grips with these sorts of ideas by then to make a strong stand? Can a society that isn't even educated about its constitution make a further leap from libertarianism to anarchism before the cabal pull their next trick? I'll leave that unanswered as we explore the theme:

It is time to put to rest any false notion of government reform, of any and all government ‘laws,’ of the total fraud of voting, of ‘constitutional rights,’ (which do not exist) and of all government itself. Yes, this is a long overdue diatribe for all those who continue to think and do the very same things over and over again, expecting to gain a different outcome. I believe that is the definition of insanity, and for very good reason.

Any praise whatsoever of government, any government, is blatantly absurd, and ludicrous on its face. Government and the state are the essence of vast criminality and gang violence; far worse offences than any common criminal or gang of common criminals could commit. This is not arguable throughout the entire course of history. What is even more disturbing, is that in every revolution, every major act of dissent, every protest against the state, and during the whole of every period in history, every time a current sitting government is negated or ousted, the masses put into place another government expecting things to be better this time. It never has been in thousands of years, but the mass of humanity disregards this fact, and attempts to gain freedom by voluntarily creating or allowing another government master to rule them. The very idea of this is mindboggling to any intelligent individual, of which apparently there are far too few.

There are no heroes in government, there are no heroes in state or national militaries, there are no heroes in state enforcement agencies, there are no heroes in any state apparatus or state-sponsored entities; the real heroes stand alone, and the real heroes are enemies of the state.

A majority of what are labeled as citizens, (slaves of the state) continue to rely on the bogus Constitution and its criminal government courts to protect their so-called ‘written’ rights ‘granted’ by the state. This structure of government was created by felonious politicians and connected business magnates, in order to establish a coup meant only to expand and give ultimate and unlimited power to a federal government; this by fooling the confused people into believing that their natural rights could be transferred to a corrupt government run by a few dishonest ‘representatives,’ who for the most part are nothing more than narcissistic and psychopathic politicians. This worthless government document called a constitution is said to be the “supreme law of the land,” which means that acceptance of it would necessarily have to facilitate the negation of all inherent natural rights in favor of state-granted ‘rights.’ How utterly ridiculous is such nonsense as this.

Those who build, vote for, support, take part in, or sponsor, such an entity as government, have to rely on the premise and belief that government is bound to exact justice equally to all men, at all times; all based on an empty and impossible promise made to hundreds of millions of different individuals. None are under any contract whatsoever, which is literally beyond the bounds of absurdity. Each of the millions of sovereign individuals would be required to accept this nonsense without question, relying on a few strangers gaining by deceit and fraud, extreme power over them, to supposedly protect and defend their individual natural rights. We are all completely unique individuals, who have every opportunity to defend and protect ourselves and our natural rights, without surrendering those rights to some coercive, abusive, immoral, and  exploitive power called government.

Governments of one form or another, have existed and ruled this country since its inception, and freedom has been lessened forever progressively over the entirety of our existence. Incessant and murderous wars of total aggression created solely by governments, have been brutal, and world destroying. The cannon fodder referred to as the masses, have been subject to death and destruction, all while supporting the murder and slaughter of falsely claimed ‘enemies’ (common innocent people) completely unknown to them, and due only to orders issued by the state. Tyranny has always existed, but has grown to insane levels over time, until all were locked down, (imprisoned), their businesses mandated by the state to close indefinitely, their natural rights purposely destroyed, their financial well-being ruined or severely compromised, psychologically tortured, injected with fatal poisons, in some cases murdered, and their families torn apart. All this happened and is still happening in the name of state power and control.

The beloved, religiously-worshiped, worthless Constitution has helped no one, but harmed most everyone, other than ruling pimps and their whores in government. It is a farce, and an intentional tool created only to enslave the people. What is called ‘conservatism’ is based on reverence of this same constitution, which exposes that these beliefs are steeped in a deep respect for an all-powerful state. This is insanity exemplified. ‘Liberalism’ (and all political parties) uses the same illegal ‘authority’ to bring about massive theft from all in order to expand and redistribute private property and to inflict evil socialistic ‘public’ policy on all. Even some (or many) libertarians,’ while claiming to only want ‘limited’ government, (an impossibility) desire to depend on this same constitution in order to ‘reform’ government by keeping the same failed system in place; relying on voting and illegal and immoral government ‘laws’ to save the day. A modest percentage of the masses are expected to continue voting for this heinous system, in order to promote fake legitimacy to this inherently illegitimate, evil and immoral governing fiasco; claiming that one vote out of 335 million people, allows each to have a say in their own slavery.

Government (the state) depends on total control of all. It depends on its ability to manufacture, create, and pass ‘laws,’ ‘laws’ that are simply restrictive and oppressive rules meant to command and control the proletariat. They create no justice, but only guarantee injustice. No law passed by any government is legitimate, as our natural rights are inclusive of all proper behavior and legitimate justice. No manmade laws can protect rights, they can only strengthen totalitarian rule. We all have a natural right to our life, which means that we have a right to sustain and defend our life. It means we have a right to our own achieved property, including self; all this so long as no aggression or harm to others or their property is evident.

Consider that in order for this abominable government to act as it pretends, it would have to have the full and total support of each single individual of these 335 million people who reside in this country. Could anything be as preposterous as this? In order to protect the natural rights of all, the rights of every single individual must be evident. For justice to be served then, would require that no harm, no theft, no ‘law,’ no mandate, no war, and no aggression of any kind be evident, unless each and every individual knowingly accepted every act by government, and voluntarily agreed to it due to acceptance of an individual contract. Yes, this is impossible, and that is the reason that no government should ever be allowed to stand if freedom and justice are to exist.

How can any government provide for the defense and welfare of hundreds of millions of individuals, all without harming any? If this were to be plausible in any regard, the government, and all its evil members, could do absolutely nothing unless each and every individual had that same exact right. That means that no war, no theft by violent thieving taxation, no laws, no conscription, no restrictions on peaceful behavior, and no meddling in the affairs of any without voluntary consent could ever occur, but government believes that it has a right to steal and harm in favor of itself and its supporters, while the individual would be imprisoned or put to death for committing these same acts.

It should be obvious to every thinking individual, that every law passed by those who call themselves ‘lawmakers,’ will either give favor to one or more, and at the same time take liberty and justice from another, negating any validity of any law arbitrarily considered by these low-life manipulating politicians.

This government, or any government, has never existed to serve anyone other than itself or its own masters, and only allows the people temporary ‘rights’ which advance its own cause. All government only sees the people as pawns to serve government, and has never existed even for one day to serve the people. This is the essence of government; to serve itself and to take all freedom away in order to use the ‘citizenry’ and their property and labor, to advance its wealth and power.

Gaetz's office also issued a brief statement acknowledging the Justice Department's contact with the lawmaker's attorneys.

Joel Greenberg, a potential Jeffrey Epstein-esque figure who had worked as a tax collector for Seminole County, Florida, appears to have tried to entrap Gaetz into having sex with a 17-year-old girl for blackmail purposes.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has brought the War Powers Resolution back into Congress to force President Biden to remove US forces from Syria.

According to Fox News, despite President Biden stating no US troops are present in Syria, an estimated 900 remain in the country. This includes four servicemembers wounded in a mission to assassinate a senior leader of the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL).

Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) was willing to praise President Biden for the killing, saying that "we currently have NONE of these capabilities to address the resurgence of ISIS and Al Qaeda in Afghanistan and I hope the Biden Administration takes necessary steps to address this growing threat."

On the other hand, Rep. Gaetz is described as "worried" Biden "does not have a cognitive grasp" on the full nature of our deployment and actions in Syria.

Similarly, our continued involvement in Syria, first initiated under President Obama; could potentially serve as a "powder keg for very dangerous escalation," due to Russian, Turkish, and Iranian interests remaining active in the region.

Rep. Gaetz's resolution will force Congress to vote on the matter no more than 18 days after its introduction. Should it pass, all US forces are to be removed within 15 days of its adoption.

In his press release, Gaetz says "Congress has never authorized the use of military force in Syria."

If yesterday had been National Creepy Crooks Day, JPMorgan Chase would have taken top honors. Bloomberg News reported on the creepy emails that former JPMorgan Chase executive Jes Staley was sending back and forth from his email account at the bank to child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, as the bank was only too happy to handle 55 accounts worth hundreds of millions of dollars for Epstein. One set of emails suggested Staley was having kinky or sexual relationships with individuals dressed up as Disney characters. (Leave it to JPMorgan to take down not only its own brand but taint Disney’s brand as well.)

Anyone who has ever worked at a major Wall Street brokerage firm or investment bank knows full well that emails are monitored by the company. This suggests that Staley knew he had nothing to fear from the bank’s email monitors.

A 2019 investigation conducted by Wall Street On Parade indicated that Epstein’s ties to JPMorgan Chase date back to at least 2001, when Epstein presided as Chairman over an offshore company incorporated in Bermuda called Liquid Funding Ltd. That company grew to at least $6.7 billion in outstanding liabilities. JPMorgan Chase was one of three banks providing a $250 million liquidity facility to Liquid Funding Ltd. JPMorgan Chase was also listed as its “Security Trustee.” Liquid Funding appeared to be propping up dodgy subprime mortgage dealers by giving them loans. Bear Stearns, where Epstein had worked from 1976 to 1981, owned 40 percent of the equity in the company.

If the Bloomberg News article wasn’t enough repulsion for one day, the New York Times reported yesterday that “JPMorgan holds $400 million that FTX’s founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, invested in an obscure hedge fund, Modulo Capital….” Since federal regulators allege that all of Bankman-Fried’s wealth comes from equity investors he defrauded or the looted accounts of his crypto customers, it appears that, once again, JPMorgan Chase has failed miserably in conducting proper due diligence on its customers, or has simply chosen to look the other way as it did during Bernie Madoff’s decades at the bank. (Bankman-Fried has pleaded innocent to an eight-count indictment. Two of his former top executives, however, Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang, have pleaded guilty to similar charges and are cooperating with federal prosecutors.)

Kramer has publicly spoken about the Bankman-Frieds, described by NYTimes as a family friend...

“I had a friend who said, ‘You don’t want to be seen with them,’” said Larry Kramer, a former dean of the law school and a close friend of the Bankman-Fried family.

“I don’t see how this doesn’t bankrupt them.”

The identities of the guarantors were released on Wednesday after Judge Lewis A. Kaplan ruled in favor of an application from various media organizations, including Bloomberg, objecting to the information being kept a secret.

Which leaves us with one simple question - how the fuck did these Stanford faculty members get so rich as to guarantee that size of a bail?

Under the terms of the bail package - which prosecutors said was one of the largest pretrial bonds in US history - the guarantors were to be “of considerable means” and one of them couldn’t be a relative.

Sam Bankman-Fried and his co-conspirators made more than 300 illegal political donations in the United States, according to a new indictment against the FTX cryptocurrency exchange founder unsealed on Thursday in Manhattan federal court.

 

The donations, totaling tens of millions of dollars, were unlawful because they were attributed to a "straw donor" or made using corporate funds, often allowing Bankman-Fried to evade contribution limits on individual contributions to candidates, prosecutors said.

 

Overall, the new indictment contains four fraud charges and eight conspiracy charges.

Eight counts of fraud

Bankman-Fried was previously hit with eight counts of fraud, money laundering and other charges over the collapse of the now-bankrupt exchange. He has pleaded not guilty in those cases.

 

Prosecutors say Bankman-Fried used the stolen customer funds to plug losses at Alameda Research, his hedge fund. Alameda's former chief executive, Caroline Ellison, and a former FTX executive, Gary Wang, have both pleaded guilty to fraud charges and agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

"Exploiting the trust that FTX customers placed in him and his exchange, Bankman-Fried stole FTX customer deposits, and used billions of dollars in stolen funds for a variety of purposes," reads the new indictment, which was filed on Wednesday.

 

After founding FTX in 2019, Bankman-Fried rode a boom in the value of Bitcoin and other digital assets to attain an estimated $26 billion net worth. He also became an influential political donor in the United States until the exchange collapsed in November amid a flurry of customer withdrawals.

 

The new indictment hit Bankman-Fried with additional charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business.
