The sabbateans want to destroy the constitution because it is a barrier to their supremacy

NYT Op-Ed: Throw out the ‘Broken Constitution’ and ‘Reclaim America’

Joshua Klein

22 Aug 2022

The “broken” and “famously undemocratic” U.S. Constitution “stands in the way” of “real” freedom and democracy, according to a New York Times op-ed by two Ivy League law professors.

The pair issued a call to “radically alter the basic rules of the game” by no longer requiring us to “justify our politics by the Constitution.”

A Friday New York Times essay, titled “The Constitution Is Broken and Should Not Be Reclaimed,” and penned by law professors Ryan D. Doerfler of Harvard and Samuel Moyn of Yale, claims when liberals “lose in the Supreme Court” they often blame justices for misreading the Constitution, yet in reality, “struggling over the Constitution has proved a dead end.”

“The real need is not to reclaim the Constitution, as many would have it, but instead to reclaim America from constitutionalism,” the authors assert, as they attack the “some centuries-old text.”

WEF Pushes Augmented Tech, Brain Chips and Internet of Bodies

August 21, 2022

By Sikh for Truth

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is attempting to normalize the idea of implanting tracking chips into humans, via the Internet of Bodies – a highly controversial technology.

The Internet of Bodies (IoB) is the biological extension of the Internet of Things (IoT) that brought us driverless cars and smart homes.

As part of the Great Reset, both are part of the plans for the future of humanity devised by the elites of the World Economic Forum.

The IoB confirms its belief in the eternal benefits of technology and promises to improve our health and extend our life. That’s a good idea, isn’t it? No, the meaning becomes clear once you understand it.

The keyword is here is data. Data is supposed to be the new oil in this new technological era. Our phones and Fitbits are used to collect data about our locations, spending patterns, educational and economic status, political allegiances, walking steps, and oxygen levels.

But through the Internet of Bodies, more and more nano sensors and robots will be embedded in our body, turning us into a quantifiable information platform that can be easily commoditized and even manipulated remotely.

By collecting all this data, data owners will be able to develop very detailed profiles of the population that can be used to enhance surveillance and security defined by authorities.

Klaus Schwab, founder of the WEF and proponent of the Great Reset, believes that the pandemic and lockdowns are an opportunity to spread this technological use, which “will result in a fusion of our physical, digital, and biological identities”.

TREASON is the attempted destruction or conspiracy to destroy a nations sovereignty and its people

Isn't it time we cut the crap and started using the g word? Still not convinced there is a conspiracy to genocide us? The UN certainly doesn't want us talking about the idea that powerful people might be conspiring to do us harm. But lets consider the following quote from a piece written in 2010 by Nicolas Stern the chair of the ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy, which is hosted at the London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Leeds. He was also a chief economist at the world bank and is a member of the house of lords (lets hope he's no relation of the leader of the zionist stern gang!)

''In september 2009 181 investors, collectively responsible for the management of more than $13 trillion in assets globally, launched a statement calling for a strong international agreement to be signed at the Copenhagen meeting. They also called for well-designed policies and regulations on CLIMATE CHANGE to provide a stable and consistent investment environment to guide the transition to the low-carbon economy.''

So right there we are being told that just 181 people control most of the worlds wealth and that they have come together to decide for everyone else on the planet what the direction of humanity will be moving forward and that we are all to 'transition' to a 'low carbon economy' which now 12 years later we can see is going to be an electrical, smart grid technocracy run by artificial intelligence. We have seen during the covid scamdemic that was all gamed out in advance by the bill and melinda gates foundation in their event 201 drill, klaus schwab, the head of the world economic forum saying that the scamdemic was the perfect opportunity for the global elites to push through their 'great reset'.

Now lets zoom out a little and look at what this transition looks like for regular people on the ground:

Small firms being crushed by big energy bills: They're not protected by the price cap, don't get government support - and are closing in their thousands

Last orders: Seven-in-ten pubs say they will go bust this winter without Government intervention on fuel bills

Meanwhile the public are told to stay away from the very health service that their taxes have paid for:

NHS Cares More About Saving Itself Than Patients

The NHS may actually now come under real pressure as it deals with the millions of people maimed and dying from the covid jab roll outs:

Why did Deaths among Female Children increase by 57% immediately after they were offered the Covid-19 Vaccine?

And as peoples health crashes from the jabs they were emotionally manipulated into having the government is going to offer new services of assisted dying to help people to shuffle off their mortal coil. Matt Hancock who ordered enough end of life drug midazolam to kill an army whilst he was health secretary is now trying to normalise and legalise assisted dying perhaps to save himself from jail once the public wake upto what he and the 'health' service have been upto (hitting people presenting to the hospitals with flu symptoms with a combination of morphine and midazolam and remdesivir to suppress their respiratory system and drive them onto ventilators to die (over 85% of people who go onto ventilators die)

Whose Grain Is Being Shipped from Ukraine? America’s GMO Agribusiness Giants to Take Control of Ukraine Farmland

Global Research, August 28, 2022

A great humanitarian uproar in recent weeks demanding the safe shipping of Ukrainian grain to ease a hunger crisis in Africa and elsewhere is deceptive on many levels.

Not the least is who owns the land on which the grain is grown and whether that grain is actually illegal GMO patented corn and other grains. A corrupt Zelenskyy regime has quietly made deals with the major GMO agribusiness companies in the West who have been stealthily taking control of some of the world’s most productive “black earth” farmland.

The 2014 CIA Coup

In February 2014 a US Government-backed coup d’etat forced the elected president of Ukraine to flee for his life to Russia. In December 2013 President Viktor Yanukovych had announced following months of debate that Ukraine would join the Russian Eurasian Economic Union on promise of a $15 billion Russian purchase of Ukraine state debt and 33% reduction in cost of imported Russian gas.

The competing offer had been a paltry “associate membership” in the EU tied to Ukraine acceptance of a draconian IMF and World Bank loan package that would force the privatization of Ukraine’s invaluable agriculture land, allow planting GMO crops, as well as imposing severe pension cuts and social austerity. In return for a $17 billion IMF loan, Ukraine would also have to raise personal income taxes by as much as 66% and to pay 50% more for natural gas. Workers would have to work ten years longer to get pensions. The aim was to open Ukraine to “foreign investment.” The usual IMF rape of the economy on behalf of globalist corporate interests.

A key provision of the US and IMF demands on the post-coup government of US-picked Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk , a leader of the CIA-backed Maiden protests against Yanukovych, was to finally open Ukraine’s rich agriculture land to foreign Agribusiness giants, above all GMO giants including Monsanto and DuPont. Three of the Yatsenyuk cabinet , including the key Finance and Economy ministers, were foreign nationals, dictated to Kiev by the US State Department’s Victoria Nuland and then-Vice President Joe Biden. The Washington-imposed IMF loan conditions required that Ukraine also reverse its ban on genetically engineered crops, and enable private corporations like Monsanto to plant its GMO seeds and spray the fields with Monsanto’s Roundup.

Since Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, keeping control of Ukraine’s precious “black earth” land has been one of the most heated issues in national politics. Recent polls show 79% of Ukrainians want to retin control of their land from foreign takeover. Ukraine, as southern Russia, is home to valuable black earth or chernozems, a dark, humus-rich soil that is very productive and needs little artificial fertilizer.

2001 Moratorium

A 2001 Ukraine law imposed a moratorium on private sale of farmland to larger companies or foreign investors. The moratorium was to halt buy up by corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs and their leasing to foreign agribusiness of the rich farmlands. By then Monsanto and other Western agribusiness had made significant inroads into Ukraine.

When Ukraine left the Soviet Union in 1991, farmers who had worked on the Soviet collective farms were each given small plots of the land. To prevent sale of the plots to hungry foreign agribusiness, the 2001 moratorium was voted. Seven million Ukrainian farmers owned small plots totaling some 79 million acres. The remaining 25 million acres were owned by the state. Cultivation of GMO crops was strictly illegal.

Despite the moratorium, Monsato, DuPont, Cargill and other Western GMO purveyors secretly and illegally began spreading their patented GMO seeds in the black earth of Ukraine. Small landowners would lease their land to large Ukrainian oligarchs, who in turn would enter secret agreements with Monsanto and others to plant GMO corn and soybeans. By the end of 2016 according to a now-deleted US Department of Agriculture report, about 80% of Ukraine’s soybeans, and 10% of corn, were grown illegally from genetically modified seed. The Zelenskyy 2021 law has allowed this open door to GMO to be vastly expanded.

Enter the Comedian

In May 2019 Volodymyr Zelenskyy, a Ukrainian TV comedian, a protégé of notoriously corrupt Ukraine oligarch, Igor Kolomoisky, was elected President in a tragic popular revolt “against government corruption.” One of Zelenskyy’s first acts in 2019 was to try to overturn the 2001 land moratorium. Farmers and citizens staged huge protests throughout 2020 to block the changes proposed by Zelenskyy.

Finally, taking advantage of the covid lockdown restrictions and bans on public protests, in May 2021 Zelenskyy signed Bill No. 2194, deregulating land, calling it the “key” to the “farmland market.” He was right. In a sneaky move to calm farmer opposition, Zelensky claimed the new law allows only Ukrainian citizens to buy or sell the valuable farmland in the first few years. He did not mention the huge loophole allowing foreign-owned companies like Monsanto (today part of Bayer AG) or DuPont (now Corteva), or other companies which have been operating in Ukraine more than three years, to also buy the desired land.

The 2021 law also gave ownership to notoriously corrupt municipal and village governments who can change the land purpose. After January 2024 Ukraine citizens as well as corporations can buy up to 10,000 hectares of land. And an April, 2021 amendment to the land market law– “On Amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine and other Legislative Acts concerning the improvement of the management system and deregulation in the field of land relations”– opened another huge loophole for foreign agribusiness to take control of the rich Ukraine black earth. The amendment circumvents the ban on sale of land to foreigners by changing the purpose of the land, say from cropland to commercial land. Then it can be sold to anyone, including foreigners who can in turn repurpose it to farmland. Zelenskyy signed the bill and went back on his campaign pledge to hold a national referendum on any change in land ownership.

Should there be any doubt as to interest of US GMO-linked agribusiness in grabbing Ukraine prime farmland, a look at the current Board of Directors of the US-Ukraine Business Council is instructive. It includes the largest private grain and agribusiness giant in the world, Cargill. It includes Monsanto/Bayer which owns patented GMO seeds and the deadly pesticide, Roundup. It includes Corteva, the huge GMO fusion of DuPont and Dow Chemicals. It includes fellow grain cartel giants Bunge and Louis Dreyfus. It includes the major farm equipment maker John Deere.

These were the powerful agribusiness corporations reportedly behind Zelenskyy’s betrayal of his election promise.

With Bayer/Monsanto, Corteva and Cargill already controlling a reported 16.7 million hectares of prime Ukraine black earth farmland, and with a de facto bribe from the IMF and World Bank, Zelenskyy’s government caved in and sold out. The result will be very bad for the future of what was until recently the “breadbasket of Europe.” With Ukraine now being pried open by the GMO cartel companies, it leaves only Russia which banned GMO crops in 2016 as the only major world grain supplier without GMO. The EU is reportedly working on a new law that would overturn the long-established critical approval process for GMO crops and open the floodgates there to the GMO takeover.

The process that has removed us from the land and made us reliant on central powers with globalised supply chains is the great untold story of these isles as well as for other peoples around the world too for example the globalists would go into a country and corrupt the leadership of that country (see for example john perkins 'confessions of an economic hitman' to see how the cia would threaten third world leaders with assassination whilst offering bribes as an alternative in order to coerce them to comply) so that they would agree to stop their country from producing a range of crops that would fulfill the broader needs of the population and instead replace those with single cash crops like coffee. This would then mean the country had to make enough profit from their single cash crop that they could then buy and import the other crops that they needed for their diet. This would then place that country at the mercy of the global market because if the price of their mono-crop fell they were stuffed. Its all about control.

He is now seeing the extent of the conspiracy and how it encompasses all the areas of life. It's a truly awesome and also terrifying thing to behold: the all pervasive nature of the conspiracy and to see just how much effort has gone over so much time into turning us all into what oliver has called 'battery hens'

Strange Military Deaths part 19

The Appin Murder

In 1752 the scottish highlands were still reeling from the harsh retribution meted out by the london based crown that followed the catastrophe of the battle of Culloden in 1746. The Chief of the Campbells had sided with the hanoverian government and acted as their representative in the north and presided over a takeover of land belonging to neighbouring clans that had sided with the jacobites. Colin Roy Campbell was given the role as factor of forfeited lands and travelled around squeezing members of the Stewart clan. In May of that year he was riding south of Ballachulish when a shot rang out killing him.

'James of the glen', the tanist of the stewarts was arrested and put on trial for the murder. No evidence could be established to pin the murder on him but the british crown had to be seen to protect its tax men and so someone had to pay for the act. The jury was filled with campbell men and Archibald Campbell, 3rd duke of argyll and chief of clan campbell was the presiding judge of what was clearly a kangaroo court. Sitting in the dock, James must have known he was a doomed man as he watched the courtroom farce unfold before his eyes that was to seal his fate.

Found guilty of collusion, Seamus was taken north and hanged by the narrows where the modern Ballachullish bridge exists today; his body left in a gibbet to rot and serve as a warning to any who might resist central control. It remains a mystery to this day who actually pulled the trigger but rumours have swirled down ever since. His house still exists up Glan Duror behind the two munros known together as the Ballachullish horseshoe and is used today as a bothy. You can still visit and fill its dusty corners with candlelight and stand in the doorway looking out to drink in the quiet of that peaceful glen.

The Dialectic

The war between the corporate socialist 'globalist' WEF elites and 'conservatives' is hotting up. We have seen Alex Jones subjected to show trial which is clearly aimed at intimidating any dissenting voice, we have seen trumps home raided by the FBI, Bannon threatened with jail time, the IRS being given $80 billion by the biden regime to create 87,000 new agents no doubt to wield the tens of thousands of weapons and the hundreds of thousands of rounds that the IRS has been buying up to prepare to wage war against the american taxpayer and we have seen leaks that show that the FBI are now listing established historical flags of the US as 'extremist' items. Protestors that were involved in the capitol hill riot are being handed insane prison terms of 6-7 years whilst the antifa and BLM mobs who burned US cities are still at large.

Whilst all this is going on hundreds of thousands of migrants are flooding over the border unimpeded by the biden regime. Increases in taxes to pay for migrants led to yellowvest riots in France so perhaps the IRS is gearing up to redistribute the wealth of the american public so that it can be given to the migrants.

The democrats are ramping up their attempts to disarm american citizens at the same time that they expand the governments own armaments whilst destabilising society through soros funded DA's who are putting violent criminals back on the streets.

It very much looks like the biden regime is going to keep poking the conservative bear. Perhaps they want it to bite? This would create a civil war that would justify the biden regime to use the military apparatus against conservative americans thereby achieving a decisive victory that would allow mass detentions and lockdowns.

The half-cocked riots of capitol hill might prove to be a warm up for a larger conflict in which trump is intended to pay the false messiah figure

The beast system

Its encouraging to see the big street protests around the world as people begin to agitate against the curtailments of their freedoms however everytime i try and speak to people online about what can be done about all this i find them making rationalisations about why they want to continue embracing one or other aspects of the system.

If i asked them if they'd like the CIA to place a bugging device in their home they'd probably say 'no way!' and yet they have gone and done exactly that; it's called their SMART TV which listens to everything in the room and sends that data back to the corporate network which is of course really just joined at the hip with the intelligence agencies and the secret society network which is the over-arching network behind the mega-corporations.

If I asked them if they'd like a CIA bugging device in their pocket they'd likely say 'no thanks!' and yet that is exactly what they have done to themselves; its called their SMART phone. People don't seem to understand the meaning of the term 'smart' which essentially means the device is wireless and sending back data about you to third parties (corporate entities and intelligence services).

All these 'smart' devices are going to be part of the 'internet of things' where ALL electrical devices are made wireless (smart) and are all going to be centrally controlled by an artificial intelligence that will communicate with them through the 5G 'cloud' (wireless soup of radiation) that is going to be created at various levels through substations near the ground and low orbit satellites in the sky.

Personally i believe that Artificial Intelligence is already online and is studying humans through the internet where people are willingly handing over all of their data including biomettric data through social media platforms like facebook, instagram, twitter and so on. I tell people that all of these platforms and devices are part of the same system of control that is being set up all around us but they don't want to listen because they have been seduced by these things and now perceive them to be irreversible aspects of their life.

Waving placards in the street makes no actual impact on this beast system which along with central bank digital currencies, injected nanotech, social credit scores, facial recognition software, pre-crime algorithms and universal basic income is going to create a giant technocratic gulag that will form a world-wide slave plantation. The only thing that makes an impact on that system is rejecting all of its tech, platforms and systems. THAT is the real protest. Unless waving placards is translated into this REAL action NOTHING will change for the better and the beast system will continue to grow. Stop feeding the beast and starve it instead.

It looks like a street lamp in a leafy London road... but this is actually a Chinese-made facial recognition camera - one of millions of sinister-looking CCTV cameras quietly installed across Britain in recent months

  • Cameras made by a chinese-state affiliated company have been installed
  • They are equipped with facial recognition and are used in totalitarian regimes
  • The company, Dahua, has a track record of severe cybersecurity vulnerabilities

By Sian Boyle For The Daily Mail Investigations Unit

Published: 00:44 BST, 5 September 2022 | Updated: 10:23 BST, 5 September 2022

For the strange white cameras are just two of millions which have quietly been installed throughout Britain in recent months.

Made by Dahua, a Chinese state-affiliated company, they are equipped with controversial facial recognition software — a means of monitoring and controlling populations much favoured by Beijing and other totalitarian regimes around the world.

There are other causes for concern: Dahua has a track record of severe cybersecurity vulnerabilities that have already led to mass hacks of its cameras, and the company itself admitted last year that there is ‘very high potential’ for other such incidents.

The company has also been implicated in human rights abuses conducted by the Chinese government, with the facial recognition capabilities of its cameras used to pick out in crowds anyone with the distinctive features of a Uyghur Muslim — a persecuted ethnic minority in China — to alert police so the individuals can be rounded up.

This is a feature that Dahua calls, rather chillingly, ‘Real Time Uyghur Warnings’. Only last week, the extent of China’s human rights atrocities against Uyghur Muslims in Xinjiang Province were laid bare in a UN report, which found that there was ‘credible evidence’ of torture, possibly amounting to ‘crimes against humanity’.

Isn't it ironic that Chinese mobile tech was supposedly banned from 5G because they will spy on us, but now these spy cameras are being installed. The narrative doesn't add up here so no wonder this is being done quietly.

This one is a short clip but it makes sense of why the WEF elites want to destroy constitutions that protect freedom and property rights so that they can remove our property and freedoms. As the clips above explain the WEF elites intend to strip away all of our property and freedom with their tagline: ''you'll own nothing and be happy'' (or else)

We Cannot be Happy without Being Free.

Executive Order 14067 : Central Bank Digital Currencies Arriving Early 2023

by Chris Black

The digital currency itself isn’t even the point – the ESG-like Social Credit System it will be underpinning is the purpose of it.

To switch off your ability to buy and trade should you be a dissident and not abide by Environmental Social Governance rules (e.g. Agenda 2030’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals).

That’s how it all links in the Global Governance Technocracy, that’s the Great Reset.

It’ll not be mandatory til post-New Great Depression where they can sell it via UBI.

P.S. Executive Orders are not Constitutional Law – and we’ll be able to reject this in the real America (the States) where we will be withdrawing from Global Governance’s jurisdiction.

The zombie Apocalypse

Not long ago the Ickes posted a screenshot of the small print of the amazon website on their headlines page and in that small print it said something about what happens in the event of a zombie apocalypse which i thought was strange! But you wonder if maybe it is just a techie at amazon having a laugh and burying that stuff in there or a disgruntled staff member and yet on the other hand they are one of the biggest companies on the planet who will have a team of lawyers going over that stuff with a fine tooth comb so it can't have got past them.

Then i was watching a video posted this week by the ickes of a guy speaking to reiner fuellmich and he was talking about how the covid jabs will change peoples genome and that there are various pathogens within the nanolipid molecules that have been injected into people and that these can be made porous with the right microwave frequencies from for example the 5g network. He also spoke about ways in which microwaves can be used to trigger the jabbed people into becoming what essentially sounded like zombies! (https://davidicke.com/2022/04/01/reiner-fuellmich-exposes-massive-military-deaths/)

Then a poster here mentioned that the government is trialing air raid type sirens that would go off on everyones smart phones to alert them to a national disaster and they were speculating that the signal itself could be a trigger of some sort. I checked it out and sure enough the BBC ran a piece on the siren being trialled back in 2021. I've been on the planet now a bunch of decades and seen wars and 911 and the 'war on terror' and the 7/7 bombings and yet there has never been deemed to be a reason that there would need to be some widespread alert sent out across everyones phones that would scare the heck out of them! So why now? Its not like it is even because of the threat of nuclear war with russia because they were trialing it before the ukrainian crisis. I guess the text sent out to everyone telling them to get the covid jab was just a sign of the times to come.

I've speculated in this thread about a 'kill switch' idea but other than that i can't think what a signal could be used for. The guy speaking to reinhard mentioned 'predictive programming' and the profusion of zombie movies and TV shows there has been in recent years and there's no denying that there has been something of a zombie glut.

Just when you think things can't get any worse you find yourself pondering if the elites are really going to pull off a zombie apocalypse! What if i'm stuck in a busy place and what of my family miles away? It just seems like such a crazy idea like operation bluebeam except i think the satanic elites would love nothing more than to see the profane / plebs / goyim eating each other. They clearly have a sense of humour because people have commented on the 'dupers delight' of certain characters like bill gates who can't help smirking as he's telling us that he is going to inject the world with 'final solution' injections. They do exhibit a certain glee and enjoyment in their work, so what is the big joke they are all smirking at?

There is also the idea that as satanists they would want to alter creation to build a synthetic facsimile so that they become the lords of creation and its certainly the case that they have patents out on all of these new biotech creations of theirs. Surely not....

in 2011, the U.S. Department of Defense released a strategy to combat a potential zombie apocalypse. While the potential opponents might be fictional, the military took it seriously. In fact, the first line of the Counter-Zombie Dominance Plan, or “CONPLAN 8888-11,” states, “This plan was not actually designed as a joke.”

The origins of the plan can be traced to training exercises held in 2009 and 2010, during which young officers participating in the Joint Operational Planning and Execution System realized the potential upsides to planning for a hypothetical zombie attack. With roving zombies as the target in these fake scenarios, rather than enemies in real-life potential hotspots like Tunisia or Nigeria, there was a much smaller risk of the plan being taken seriously—or ruffling diplomatic feathers.

The ex naval microwaves expert barrie trower said that he was told that microwaves can be used to activate dormant viruses

So my concern is that the elites are rolling out injections and at the same time 5G. Are the jabs putting something in people which will then be activated suddenly by the 5G microwaves like a kind of kill switch? If the elites wanted to be out of range of the microwaves they would build lined bunkers to protect themselves

I know that's a dark thought but i just can't shake it

The dire need to improve constitutional literacy (on both sides of the pond):

Overthrow the Government: All the Ways in Which Our Rights Have Been Usurped

Posted by John Whitehead

Posted on 16 September 2022

“We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.” — Abraham Lincoln

It’s easy to become discouraged about the state of our nation.

We’re drowning under the weight of too much debt, too many wars, too much power in the hands of a centralized government, too many militarized police, too many laws, too many lobbyists, and generally too much bad news.

It’s harder to believe that change is possible, that the system can be reformed, that politicians can be principled, that courts can be just, that good can overcome evil, and that freedom will prevail.

So where does that leave us?

Benjamin Franklin provided the answer. As the delegates to the Constitutional Convention trudged out of Independence Hall on September 17, 1787, an anxious woman in the crowd waiting at the entrance inquired of Franklin, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?” “A republic,” Franklin replied, “if you can keep it.”

What Franklin meant, of course, is that when all is said and done, we get the government we deserve.

Those who gave us the Constitution and the Bill of Rights believed that the government exists at the behest of its citizens. It is there to protect, defend and even enhance our freedoms, not violate them.

Unfortunately, although the Bill of Rights was adopted as a means of protecting the people against government tyranny, in America today, the government does whatever it wants, freedom be damned.

“We the people” have been terrorized, traumatized, and tricked into a semi-permanent state of compliance by a government that cares nothing for our lives or our liberties.

The bogeyman’s names and faces have changed over time (terrorism, the war on drugs, illegal immigration, a viral pandemic, and more to come), but the end result remains the same: in the so-called name of national security, the Constitution has been steadily chipped away at, undermined, eroded, whittled down, and generally discarded with the support of Congress, the White House, and the courts.

A recitation of the Bill of Rights—set against a backdrop of government surveillance, militarized police, SWAT team raids, asset forfeiture, eminent domain, overcriminalization, armed surveillance drones, whole body scanners, stop and frisk searches, vaccine mandates, lockdowns, and the like (all sanctioned by Congress, the White House, and the courts)—would understandably sound more like a eulogy to freedoms lost than an affirmation of rights we truly possess.

What we are left with today is but a shadow of the robust document adopted more than two centuries ago. Sadly, most of the damage has been inflicted upon the Bill of Rights.

Here is what it means to live under the Constitution, twenty-plus years after 9/11 and with the nation just emerging from two years of COVID-19 lockdowns and mandates.

The First Amendment is supposed to protect the freedom to speak your mind, assemble and protest nonviolently without being bridled by the government. It also protects the freedom of the media, as well as the right to worship and pray without interference. In other words, Americans should not be silenced by the government. To the founders, all of America was a free speech zone.

Despite the clear protections found in the First Amendment, the freedoms described therein are under constant assault. Increasingly, Americans are being persecuted for exercising their First Amendment rights and speaking out against government corruption. Activists are being arrested and charged for daring to film police officers engaged in harassment or abusive practices. Journalists are being prosecuted for reporting on whistleblowers. States are passing legislation to muzzle reporting on cruel and abusive corporate practices. Religious ministries are being fined for attempting to feed and house the homeless. Protesters are being tear-gassed, beaten, arrested and forced into “free speech zones.” And under the guise of “government speech,” the courts have reasoned that the government can discriminate freely against any First Amendment activity that takes place within a so-called government forum.

The Second Amendment was intended to guarantee “the right of the people to keep and bear arms.” Essentially, this amendment was intended to give the citizenry the means to resist tyrannical government. Yet while gun ownership has been recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court as an individual citizen right, Americans remain powerless to defend themselves against red flag gun laws, militarized police, SWAT team raids, and government agencies armed to the teeth with military weapons better suited to the battlefield.

The Third Amendment reinforces the principle that civilian-elected officials are superior to the military by prohibiting the military from entering any citizen’s home without “the consent of the owner.” With the police increasingly training like the military, acting like the military, and posing as military forces—complete with heavily armed SWAT teams, military weapons, assault vehicles, etc.—it is clear that we now have what the founders feared most—a standing army on American soil.

The Fourth Amendment prohibits government agents from conducting surveillance on you or touching you or encroaching on your private property unless they have evidence that you’re up to something criminal. In other words, the Fourth Amendment ensures privacy and bodily integrity. Unfortunately, the Fourth Amendment has suffered the greatest damage in recent years and has been all but eviscerated by an unwarranted expansion of governmental police powers that include strip searches and even anal and vaginal searches of citizens, surveillance (corporate and otherwise), and intrusions justified in the name of fighting terrorism, as well as the outsourcing of otherwise illegal activities to private contractors.

The Fifth Amendment and the Sixth Amendment work in tandem. These amendments supposedly ensure that you are innocent until proven guilty, and government authorities cannot deprive you of your life, your liberty or your property without the right to an attorney and a fair trial before a civilian judge. However, in the new suspect society in which we live, where surveillance is the norm, these fundamental principles have been upended. Certainly, if the government can arbitrarily freeze, seize or lay claim to your property (money, land or possessions) under government asset forfeiture schemes, you have no true rights.

The Seventh Amendment guarantees citizens the right to a jury trial. Yet when the populace has no idea of what’s in the Constitution—civic education has virtually disappeared from most school curriculums—that inevitably translates to an ignorant jury incapable of distinguishing justice and the law from their own preconceived notions and fears. However, as a growing number of citizens are coming to realize, the power of the jury to nullify the government’s actions—and thereby help balance the scales of justice—is not to be underestimated. Jury nullification reminds the government that “we the people” retain the power to ultimately determine what laws are just.

The Eighth Amendment is similar to the Sixth in that it is supposed to protect the rights of the accused and forbid the use of cruel and unusual punishment. However, the Supreme Court’s determination that what constitutes “cruel and unusual” should be dependent on the “evolving standards of decency that mark the progress of a maturing society” leaves us with little protection in the face of a society lacking in morals altogether.

The Ninth Amendment provides that other rights not enumerated in the Constitution are nonetheless retained by the people. Popular sovereignty—the belief that the power to govern flows upward from the people rather than downward from the rulers—is clearly evident in this amendment. However, it has since been turned on its head by a centralized federal government that sees itself as supreme and which continues to pass more and more laws that restrict our freedoms under the pretext that it has an “important government interest” in doing so.

As for the Tenth Amendment’s reminder that the people and the states retain every authority that is not otherwise mentioned in the Constitution, that assurance of a system of government in which power is divided among local, state and national entities has long since been rendered moot by the centralized Washington, DC, power elite—the president, Congress and the courts.

Thus, if there is any sense to be made from this recitation of freedoms lost, it is simply this: our individual freedoms have been eviscerated so that the government’s powers could be expanded.

It was no idle happenstance that the Constitution opens with these three powerful words: “We the people.” As the Preamble proclaims:

We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this CONSTITUTION for the United States of America.

In other words, it’s our job to make the government play by the rules of the Constitution.

We are supposed to be the masters and they—the government and its agents—are the servants.

We the American people—the citizenry—are supposed to be the arbiters and ultimate guardians of America’s welfare, defense, liberty, laws and prosperity.

Still, it’s hard to be a good citizen if you don’t know anything about your rights or how the government is supposed to operate.

As the National Review rightly asks, “How can Americans possibly make intelligent and informed political choices if they don’t understand the fundamental structure of their government? American citizens have the right to self-government, but it seems that we increasingly lack the capacity for it.”

Americans are constitutionally illiterate.

Most citizens have little, if any, knowledge about their basic rights. And our educational system does a poor job of teaching the basic freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. For instance, a survey by the Annenberg Public Policy Center found that a little more than one-third of respondents (36 percent) could name all three branches of the U.S. government, while another one-third (35 percent) could not name a single one.

A survey by the McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum found that only one out of a thousand adults could identify the five rights protected by the First Amendment. On the other hand, more than half (52%) of the respondents could name at least two of the characters in the animated Simpsons television family, and 20% could name all five. And although half could name none of the freedoms in the First Amendment, a majority (54%) could name at least one of the three judges on the TV program American Idol, 41% could name two and one-fourth could name all three.

It gets worse.

Many who responded to the survey had a strange conception of what was in the First Amendment. For example, a startling number of respondents believed that the “right to own a pet” and the “right to drive a car” were part of the First Amendment. Another 38% believed that “taking the Fifth” was part of the First Amendment.

Teachers and school administrators do not fare much better. A study conducted by the Center for Survey Research and Analysis found that one educator in five was unable to name any of the freedoms in the First Amendment.

Government leaders and politicians are also ill-informed. Although they take an oath to uphold, support and defend the Constitution against “enemies foreign and domestic,” their lack of education about our fundamental rights often causes them to be enemies of the Bill of Rights.

So what’s the solution?

Thomas Jefferson recognized that a citizenry educated on “their rights, interests, and duties”  is the only real assurance that freedom will survive.

As Jefferson wrote in 1820: “I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of our society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion by education. This is the true corrective of abuses of constitutional power.”

From the President on down, anyone taking public office should have a working knowledge of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and should be held accountable for upholding their precepts. One way to ensure this would be to require government leaders to take a course on the Constitution and pass a thorough examination thereof before being allowed to take office.

Some critics are advocating that students pass the United States citizenship exam in order to graduate from high school. Others recommend that it must be a prerequisite for attending college. I’d go so far as to argue that students should have to pass the citizenship exam before graduating from grade school.

Here’s an idea to get educated and take a stand for freedom: anyone who signs up to become a member of The Rutherford Institute gets a wallet-sized Bill of Rights card and a Know Your Rights card. Use this card to teach your children the freedoms found in the Bill of Rights.

A healthy, representative government is hard work. It takes a citizenry that is informed about the issues, educated about how the government operates, and willing to do more than grouse and complain.

As I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People and in its fictional counterpart The Erik Blair Diaries, “we the people” have the power to make and break the government.

The powers-that-be want us to remain divided over politics, hostile to those with whom we disagree politically, and intolerant of anyone or anything whose solutions to what ails this country differ from our own. They also want us to believe that our job as citizens begins and ends on Election Day.

Yet there are 330 million of us in this country. Imagine what we could accomplish if we actually worked together, presented a united front, and spoke with one voice.

Tyranny wouldn’t stand a chance.

I could see the americans rallying around their constitution as a point of reference by which to measure the full on degradation of their country and its traditional values but i wonder what the british could rally around? Yes they are currently rallying around the monarchy but the problem is that the monarchy (as well as being a form of centralised power) is occupied territory that is not representing the interests of the british people. Its going to need a real boost in civic education for people to get to grips with the british constitution and the common law in the same way that the americans do with their own. How can people stand up for their rights if they don't know them?

Four Things We Should Teach Children About The Constitution

Authored by Hans Zeiger via RealClear Wire,

When we think of the United States Constitution, we probably consider the structure it gives to our national government. We may think of its presence at the center of political controversies past and present. Or we may think of ways in which the document has been neglected.

But as we mark the 235th anniversary of the Constitution’s signing on Sept. 17, 1787, it’s worth noting the positive ways in which our daily lives as individuals – and our shared lives as citizens – are profoundly shaped by that document.

First, the Constitution is a common reference point for American civic life. The Preamble tells us the Constitution’s purpose – one that “We the People” share together. It speaks of the need to maintain our “more perfect Union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity.” This purpose is as relevant today as it was in 1787. The founding generation certainly bore a heavy responsibility in adhering to these purposes, but each generation must do its part in the ongoing work of self-government. And each individual citizen is a shareholder in the enterprise of democracy.

Even with this shared mission, we don’t hold everything in common, and we never have. The second way in which the Constitution touches our lives is that it creates space for disagreement. It serves effectively as a framework for deliberative processes that are inclusive, civil, and dispersed. Our Constitution makes way for diversity and variety in a large and ever-growing country. It does this through representative institutions that encourage debate and participation and protect minority rights. The Constitutional Convention of 1787, and the ratification thereafter, was a remarkable demonstration of public deliberation, one that set in motion an entire regime centered on deliberative democracy.

The Constitution also makes way for a plurality of governing philosophies, partisan affiliations, and local and regional preferences through federalism. Federalism gives us a multitude of concurrent and overlapping local, state, and national jurisdictions in which we can participate in our own governance. This allows different levels of government to solve problems in different ways. While the national government is equipped to solve some of our problems, the state and local governments, and “the people,” as referenced in the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution – living their individual lives and taking part in civil society – are capable of solving most problems. Individuals, families, and communities are just as much a part of our constitutional order as is the government.

Finally, the Constitution is a framework for balance. It stands for order and freedom together or what has been called “ordered liberty.” Not only do we have institutional balance of powers, with checks and balances between the branches of government to prevent government overreach, but our constitutional system provides other kinds of balance as well. As Americans, we must understand the balance of rights and responsibilities we hold as citizens. Along with individual freedoms, we have civic commitments to our local communities, states, and nation.

Among our civic commitments is a responsibility to understand our Constitution. As we celebrate Constitution Day, we should do our best to pass along this knowledge to our children. Civic education is fundamental to the continuity of our free society. While we strongly contend for our positions in the political arena – left, right, and center – we are all inheritors of the Constitution. Let us join together this Sept. 17 to celebrate the Constitution and pass along its blessings of liberty to the rising generation.
