I'm finding it hard to let go of a lot of bands myself, knowing what they're likely involved in.

However, a lifelong love for something can take a long time to stop.

The Christian Republicans turned on Rock & Roll as the Devils Music because their children where turning against conservative Christian values. The stories of Satanic rituals and animal sacrifice in the 70's and 80's where all untrue as conservatives and Christians felt the loss of their base loosing political votes and religious donations.

 

As for these so called Satanic rituals on stage. As someone who has studied magick in many different forms I can tell you that music is all theatre and showmanship. Dont be fooled by pyramids, eyes, Illuminati symobolism and hand signals it is all theatre and entertainment and has no more magical influence than does any other music show with lights, music, drugs and lyrics for thats all the influence it provides.

It's not just about symbolism though, it's also about cultural subversion. It seems like most people will accept any debased abnormalities that get shilled by the majors, without asking who benefits. When people start following the money to see who has their tentacles all over the entertainment industry, then we might see change. People have to want more wholesome content that sustains the soul too though.
