Anyone telling you that soy is a "health" food or a "super" food have been lied to. Soy is best left for the soil to devour and hopefully turn into useable nutrients for real plants. https://www.foodrenegade.com/dangers-of-soy/ After decades of hearing marketing spin about how soy is a wonder food, a protein-rich legume able to rescue us from our dependence on meat, I suppose it’s understandable why so many people have yet to understand fully the dangers of soy. Really, you’re not going to get the full story unless you research it on your own. And why would you, when soy is “universally” touted as a health food? Well, it isn’t Thankfully, more and more research has been done regarding the dangers of soy, and what it’s revealed should scare you. SOY DANGER #1: PHYTOESTROGENS Soy is higher in phytoestrogens than just about any other food source. Phytoestrogens are plant-based estrogens that mimic estrogen in our bodies. In recent years, you may have read about studies which indicate phytoestrogens are good for you. But ask yourself, who funded those studies? The soy industry, that’s who. Independent research has clearly shown that consuming phytoestrogens is downright dangerous for the human body. It’s only common sense. No one argues, for example, that a leading cause of breast cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, infertility, and low libido is unopposed estrogen, or estrogen dominance. Why, then, would anyone argue that we should consume more of a food high in estrogen? The article continues: https://www.foodrenegade.com/dangers-of-soy/ And an interesting story about prison inmates health decline after being put on a 60-70% soy diet: https://www.foodrenegade.com/life-threatening-retaliation-in-soy-prison-lawsuit/ Asians eat a lot of soy, most of it fermented - miso, tempeh, soy sauce... And they broke age records. Also after 40 estrogen levels drops which weaken bones and speeds up aging...

Fermenting foods change various compounds in it that are toxic to being safer and the body to deal with. The problem with the worlds modern soy farming production methods is the glyphosate spray they use to ‘dessicate’ (dry) the crop with. Glyphosate (round-up) is generally used as a herbicide, but they discovered it’s drying capacity, so now modern farmers refer to it as ‘sunshine in a can’ - to spray wheat, barley, rapeseed (for veg oils), and loads of other crops to dry it and get it ‘qualified’ into the food supply system. (The phytoestrogens in soy (and other foods) dont perform as real body-produced estrogen. They sit on the receptors of cells pretending to be estrogen, so the body doesnt make its own, as it receives signals from the cells there’s estrogen already there. This is why the asian population are majority shorter than other races, and the women have smaller breasts and hips, and both genders are mostly slim. REAL Estrogen tells the bones to stop growing. Estrogen grows breasts and child-rearing hips. It holds fat on the body. Estrogen in males and females is produced ones puberty is well underway and established fully….from age 14-18. Thats when growth tends to slow down. Plant estrogens sit like dopplegangers on the receptors of cells pretending to be estrogen without performing many estrogenic functions. The pituitary doesnt know this as it gets the message there’s estrogen on the cell receptor. So the bones wont grow long, the breasts wont develop, and i havent checked the fertility rates for women in japan, but it would also make egg fertilisation more difficult. The rates of gyno and breast cancer will be lower in soy-eating countries, as real estrogen high levels make this more likely, but thats the only advantage of plant estrogens, for those prone to high body estrogen levels and cancer risk) Studies on Round-up glyphosate based herbicides repeatedly show endocrine disturbances too. The pituitary mainly - which affects the thyroid regulation, the thymus immune system regulation, adrenals for stress response hormones and the pancreas - contributing to the horrific explosion of diabetes worldwide. Ovarian and testicular hormone production goes wacky too thanks to endocrine disturbances from agri-chemicals. It will be interesting how japans longevity stats pan-out from hereon-out, as round-up use is so ubiquitous it’s shocking. Its moved into india at full speed ahead with farmers literally being ‘educated’ by monsanto ‘agricultural lessons for farmers’ and these farmers call these poisons “medicine for the plants” - thats truly how they are being marketed to ignorant indian farmers - as plant medicines! I wouldnt believe it without seeing videos of it. I went to an organic farmer for some hay, he told me a story how the dept. Of agriculture visiting officer told him he cant use round-up on his farm now he’s registered as organic - “i had no idea!” was his reply… …suffice to say i didnt use his produce and use him as a supplier. The amount of foods ive been sold as ‘organic’ which aren’t (when questioned) is shocking…farmers want to obtain ‘organic status’ so they can charge more for their produce, but not all of them are clear at all what ‘organic’ REALLY means. I advertised for organic hay not been treated with ANY chemicals, another farmer gets in touch, i go to his farm, (the hay was crap, i wasnt keen even if it was organic) when i ask again to check no chemicals he said “thats right, except for the weed licker” - which means roundup ‘lick’ gel on weeds. Truly, the level of ignorance in the farming ‘world’ what organic means is ultra shocking. 1 2

Is it just the latest snake oil? The japanese have a long history of fermenting foods and gaining health benefits from the bacteria strains that grow while fermenting takes place. Kimchi is similar to sauerkraut, but tastier and spicier. There’s evidence for the benefits of health from these types of foods, now that we’ve mapped/mapping the gut biomes of mammals. But due to soy farming via intensive agricultural methods - i personally avoid any soy products, even for my animals, as the animal food chain is loaded with soy now too. To obtain these fermented multi- bacteria strains its worth trying water or milk kefir. I ‘grew’ them for a while and sold them on ebay. Water kefir i used. Also multi-strain probiotics are good to do a course of every now and then to add a nice mix of healthy gut bacteria levels. If you wanted to try nattokinase try to source an organic labelled producer. I read a study article recently talking about residue of glyphosate in grains/flours etc being higher than the already-too-high ‘legal limit’ - which goes to prove, despite there being laws about dilution of these chemicals applied to crops, there’s no-one checking levels. And i’ve personally read posts on a uk farming forum of using higher than recommended doses to get a crop harvested to make the ‘moisture test’ legislations. The link between gut bacteria and mental health is emerging. The ‘gut brain’ link shows us that having a variety of foods is the way to go to form a multi-colony of healthy gut bacteria, which studies point to better moods etc. I periodically gulp some probiotics to help populate the gut with more diverse strains. I find it helpful, gut function improvement. 1

sickofallthebollocks
This probably tastes absolutely minging but I bet it's good for you: Onions (white, red, whatever - maybe a full small - medium onion sliced) Pineapple core chunks (As much as you like) Lemons (maybe 6-12 slim slices) Cayenne pepper (whole - not too big) Ginger (generous pinch - small handfull) Black pepper corn (generous small handfull) Cinnamon (generous pinch) Elderberry (small handfull) Thyme (generous pinch - small handfull) Rosemary (generous pinch - small handfull) Turmeric (small handfull - generous large pinch) Calendula (generous pinch) Astragalus (generous pinch) Garlic (small handfull - generous pinch) And finally..... ....Apple Cider Vinegar (with mother) (fill up with this) Keep it all in a tall drinking jar in the fridge - lasts for up to a year, and is good for drinking as and when you like it or when you're feeling like you're coming down with something. Maybe if you like - to take the fiery edge down a bit and make a little more paletable - add honey - or even Manuka Honey - preferably organic - when you fancy a sip.
