Nice filming. Love u.f.o type stuff. So often film is terrible. This may not be perfect but still miles better than usual stuff

Thanks! Couldn't believe it was in broad daylight. My A.I loving brother is of course trying to tell me it's a piece of rubbish as there are different altitudes of wind in the air blah blah blah. (Why do I bother to show him these things..I hope one day he'll wake up to what's going on around us).

But if that were the case, why only one piece of rubbish on a very non windy day?

Ach. He's always looking for some scientific logical explanation. Pain in the butthole really 😞

It travelled up thousands of feet whilst heading south at the speed of an aircraft. Wish I had filmed more, but had to phone someone else to check it out so I knew I wasn't losing my marbles.

Waited all my life to see a ufo. I thought i saw something strange once in Bath England when i had some work down there.

I was thinking a drone but it doesn't look like one does it?

Nice footage

Thanks Fluke!

Ooh wow, what did you see?

I did think drone also, but no sound came from it.

Family ridiculing ne over this..fab! It shouldn't bother me at 32, but it does. I just wish they could see what I see. I care about them deeply.

I saw 3 bright lights moving away and then moving into one and finally disappearing moving into one. It wasn't a laser and wasn't landing lights as I know what they look like. Not sure where the nearest airport from Bath is. Bristol has one maybe? But other than that I've never seen one.

Wow that's amazing!

Especially as they all moved in to one, surely couldn't be an aircraft. That really is cool.

Was it during the day?

I'm wondering if they want to be seen, especially as lately sightings have been seen throughout the day..

It was about 8pm darkish was exploring the beautiful city.

I think in times of crisis these lights seem to appear in the sky around the world.

Thanks. A decent bit of video. I suspect its a metallised mylar solar balloon caught in a thermal.

Thank you 🙂

I'd never heard of one of those before and had a wee check to see. Could well be! Can they travel up higher and move location rapidly?

I am intrigued now 🙂 (and partially relieved as I thought I was being watched) Got freaked out earlier about it all.

Happy to help, but it's only a suggestion. Solar balloons can be quite big and can flex about and get caught in swiftly moving thermals. They are just filled with air that expands with heat from the sun, and your video looks typical of the warm sunny conditions required for them.

I'm surprised no one has pointed out they are usually  dark so as to absorb the sun's heat, but maybe that only applies to DIY ones made out of bin liners and commercial ones can be made that absorb much of the sub's heat but are still quite reflective to visible light.

it's a silver rod rotating in 360 motion on a somewhat stationary axis, no balloon could move like that. would get your eyes checked tbh

Thanks for the helpful suggestion.

Stiff balloon in a thermal, secret terrestrial technology or an alien probe. Let me think about that...

I showed this to a good friend of mine and she said she seen something similar the week before in the same area and it was making zig zag patterns, also a cylinder shape.

Her photos were taken at night.  She said it was too late for aircraft and the zig zag pattern it was dotting about in didn't seem like something of this planet.

Here are her snaps,  one week before I put up that video -

ok whilst considering that, if you'd accept more help, these are what weather balloons look like:

Have had a quick check personally and none match the shape in the vid. Feel free to check the rest

I doubt it's a weather balloon, and I didn't suggest it was. I think it might be a solar balloon. They are just fun things to play with and as far as I know have no purpose other than toys.
