Scorpion and the Frog - Frog in the Well - Short Symbolic Tale

Recommended Posts

A short symbolic tale I shared a year ago on social media, it maybe of use to people on here 😇🙏

“A scorpion asks a frog to carry him over a river. The frog is afraid of being stung, but the scorpion argues that if it did so, both would sink and the scorpion would drown. The frog then agrees, but midway across the river the scorpion does indeed sting the frog, dooming them both. When asked why, the scorpion points out that this is its nature.”
Fable of the Scorpion and the Frog

Sometimes, very smart people forget that the government is not their friend.
The government can be your friend for awhile, and against your common enemies, but eventually the government will sting you just as the scorpion stung the frog in the famous fable recounted above.

The frog, however, seems to have discovered the true nature of the scorpion.

Competition and fights in the business world–even very nasty ones–are not and should not be the business of free market-minded people (except insofar as we approve of the whole mess). What is our concern is when the government is recruited to tip the scales one way or the other.

What you have then is not so much a free market outcome as a crony capitalist one - Cartelism!

But the scorpion has stung.
That’s a rough kind of justice, one supposes.

But the free market would have been better off had the ghoulish specter of government not been invited to the party in the first place.

"Frog in the well" is used to describe an individual who cannot or refuses to see the big picture because of being sheltered and close-minded.

It is also called "KUPA MANDUKA" in sanskrit, which is an old saying.

Eg:- You have no idea what skills are required as you have been a frog in a well for the last 30 years, stuck in the same job with the same skills.

Also, it is believed that a frog in the well can jump out of the well but such a person will find himself in another well, where the wall is made of an horizon which he can never break free from.

Now, both the wall of the well and the perimeter of the horizon is shaped like a 'chakra' or wheel. A 'chakravarti' is one who calls himself an emperor but is actually a 'FROG IN THE WALL' or 'KUPA MANDUKA' as his rule is restricted by the horizon.

He doesn't control what lies beyond, still believes himself to be the king of the world.

An excerpt from something I wrote in my art thread before the hack:

"No matter how the scorpion pleads, no matter how it claims to be an ally, if you allow it on your back, it will sting you. Nature cannot be changed."

I probably had that Scorpion and The Frog tale in my head now that I think about it.

Drive, in psychology, an urgent basic need pressing for satisfaction, usually rooted in some physiological tension, deficiency, or imbalance (e.g., hunger and thirst) and impelling the organism to action.

Abstract. Like all animals, humans have instincts, genetically hard-wired behaviors that enhance our ability to cope with vital environmental contingencies. Our innate fear of snakes is an example. ... Any attempt to control human behavior is bound to meet with resistance and disapproval.

In psychology, Instincts have been replaced with Drives, the Mask on the face of humanity.

Via such, you can attempt to control humanity to the detriment, ignorance and attempted irradiation of, Instincts.

Nothing a good pill won't silence, the scorpion on our backs 😆 people can live in fear of being stung their whole lives...

I think you are mixing up all sorts of things together.  The society we are in now is evil, but it wasn't always so.  It is easier to just give up on things ... but it's cheap and wrong.

This world is not a perfect world, there are rules you have to follow, and you have to defend yourself.  Only then will you survive.  There is no idealism, socialism, atheism or any ism.

Everything has to be defended.

It's not easy building a society from scratch, out of the wilderness.

Later when life is so easy, people come along and demand utopia ... it's those people who know nothing.

The original bastards who built the society at least knew something.

Most urban people never built anything, so they can have any opinion they want.

As for the Scorpion and the Idiot Frog maybe there are deeper things going on in it.

Why did the Frog even listen to the Scorpion .. it's a fucking Scorpion all it does is kill, is he stupid or what.

Then what do you want ... to have 'conversation' about whether you are going to kill me?
This is for idiots isn't it.

And the Frog is going ... carry the fucking scorpion on his back ... what is he some slave bearer?  Please be my slave bearer.

The Frog is a damn stupid idealistic fool.  An inexperienced fool.

He needs to be more self-reliant, and learn the ways of the world.

He needs to have goals for himself other than being fucking friends with everyone.

He deserve to get stung, it's the only way he is gonna learn, he is a sap.

If you want "fwiends" at least learn the difference between good people and shit people.

I have mixed the story of the Scorpion and the Frog with the Frog in the Well. As the tales both represent humanity as the frog and tie together the human condition as imposed upon us via this prison form of reality, as we are governed by the government on behalf of hidden rulers, being the scorpion.

The mentality of the scorpion leeches out into society like a parasite or a virus, on the backs of others, largely unassuming.

It does so to intimidate people away from their own Instincts, down the path of well defined roles with so many signs and signals as to how to behave and how human behaviour is expected of them, or else...

Ultimately, putting society within its own way.

I personally feel this has never been more apt for the current condition and state of affairs for the world.

While we are like the frog in the well, only we are thinking we are ahead of it, as we are building our own wells, our own traps, within larger traps that surround them we fail to see when our attention becomes locked into a limited spectrum of existence. We are essentially putting our minds into a spotlight form of consciousness to the detriment of the floodlight consciousness. Both are necessary and shouldn't be traded one for the other.

Just in the sense that system shouldn't totally be traded for spirituality or vice versa. That's if you want to be whole, have the capacity of seeing this bigger picture.

This is like I said within the Artificial Construct post, reality is reduced to repeat the same patterns of the whole, down to it's lowest common denominator.

We are repeating the same patterns of our prison reality, into microcosms of the collective. When doing so, we are creating our own bubbles, our own artificially induced state of reality, thus an artificial induced state of consciousness, in some respects, cut off or at least in ignorance of the reality outside of our own little bubble by the very nature of our consciousness being entrained upon such limitations.

Awakening can be said to becoming aware of a greater reality beyond the traps we have created for ourselves, chasing illusions we believed to be real, a fantasia of the mind getting nowhere fast, while believing this to be, the path toward success and achievement.

While it also can be said to becoming to understand, you are as much these traps as you feel they're trapping you.

What derives from such success?

Where is it leading, what is it people are attempting to amount to?

Often, it's ego, the mask, the fantasia and just wanting more...

So long as you don't ask these questions and see it only has you chasing your own arse, you'll keep doing it. Like the frog in the well...

So long as you're happy with doing that, that's OK. I'm not saying anything is wrong with that. What is wrong is when people are suffering because of this, or creating suffering for someone else and don't realise that it's because they've been fooled into chasing their own arse that they're suffering, or staying put within their own wells, their own bubble reality.

You do see the dilemma this can put us within?

If we don't see it, we can be at war with ourselves, our own nature, or trying to change the nature of others as though this is the problem, like you have this problem with the frog being an idiot and you believe he should change his nature...

Or you could also be mad and be at war with the walls of reality, like someone within an insane asylum.

The world isn't perfect, it is imperfect.

But you could call it, imperfectly perfect 😁

As in, it is perfect being imperfect as it is, don't try and change it, or make it more perfect. That’s the insane asylum situation we have of beating reality to our will and submission that drives us all mad.

That DRIVES Transhumanism for example.

You thus create, an even more imperfect world, an even more, artificial world. That maybe imperfectly perfect for A.I. and machines, I don't think so for me thank you.

But like the humans being put within an A.I. Reality, it's as if some part of humans have been placed within an equally lower reality from an original and many people have forgotten the reality which preceeded it...

This is more of a theory for me than a realisation. But, both seem to be leading each other, as if a realisation has derived from a theory or such...

Who said we should or had to build a society out of the wilderness?

Shouldn't that be an organic process?

If not, why not?

Who's idea was it to centralise society in herd communities, like sheep or other farm animals as though we are within a zoo?

Was it Instincts or Drives which created a society out of the Wilderness?

What on Earth do you think sets you apart from the wilderness and our own nature from which we dervived?

Ego and Pride I'd say!

Maybe when you've lived a little longer, you'll see why people are expecting a utopia they don't receive and then, you'll realise why they're mad. It's because more people then start to realise they've been hypnotised with the Fantasia of life I'm speaking of which never truly manifests, at least not in this physical reality. It's this which makes people disenchanted and as though they had swallowed a poisoned pill in their youth and have only just realised it later in life, when they've had time to step aside from the rat race existence and their body is falling apart and they feel they have been cheated or have had the time from their life stolen from them and their lifeforce drained. That's the rat race of father time...

But, we can all stand around and marvel at the society we have built out of the wilderness, see if that makes it better...

Ask the dude in the wheelchair 😆

Or maybe the collection of possessions such as these books. You should begin to see the fleeting and impermanent nature of this existence as what do they amount too?

Nothing beyond themselves. The Fantasia is that they will accumulate powers they do not possess. Unless you have the three volumes of The Ninth Gate perhaps 😁

You understand the nature of the scorpion very well, you fail to see the nature of the frog.

He is not an idiot, yet, compassion is seen as a weakness by the scorpion and parasites will always try to take advantage of this and consider those of compassion, fools, even while riding on their backs...

That is because, they do not understand compassion nor have empathy, this is their weakness.

Like, have you even watched Drive? 🤣

Drive Intro

https://youtu.be/ZHYaj6EHfJg

This is the best bit but, if you understand the nature between the frog, the guy in the scorpion jacket, symbolic of his mask, the fantasia illusion he has created to keep people away and taking advantage other than those he allows, and how and why he gets involved with defending people he cares about from the true scorpions, you'll understand what's going on here. Hopefully 😇🙏

And how not everything is always as it seems as the reality has been shrouded with an illusion, a fantasia we ought to wake up from and retrieve our senses.

But, this is just my analysis.

Please don't take it personally, it is subjective.

Why you identify with the frog ?  That's just you, I am more identifying with the scorpion because at least he is not an idiot.

If you are a fool and die stupidly where is the justification ?
I used to be like that ... a nice and compassionate fool.

But you know what, I was just unworthy, i hadn't learnt shit, I hadn't built shit, I hadn't worked hard.

My "nice guy" crap was like a baby wanting mommy to be nice.

This is not okay for an adult man.

You are to pick up the yolk and heave, you are not a victim, you are not "compassionate" ... you are working.

As for the Consciousness crap ... I have studied zen for more than 10 years personally with a teacher.

I know Consciousness.

It's also hard work, most people almost die on the path it's not for free.

Everything has to be understood and executed to the best possibilities.

In life, be practical.  You have 2 arms and legs, work then, work hard, work well, be worthy.

When you are out with friends enjoy, laugh sing, screw.

When you sleep then sleep.

If you want Consciousness then work like a mother fucker, just like Buddha did and take it.

And if you see someone on the floor pick them up.

But don't spend your life playing the violin.

It does nothing just disguise that you are a bum.

Get off your knees, as DI says.

That is the problem with the "left wing".

They do nothing.

Yes I saw Drive, again last week.  This is the best bit, 9.19 ... like the opening of Blade Runner.

Again, you're taking this personally.

You're compounded and blinded by ego and a false sense of pride. I feel like breaking out Rule Britannia for old time sake...

I am not identifying with the frog but the nature of both, as to appreciate the story.

The nature of both are inherent within us all. They're only used to seek an analogy of understanding the nature and folly of our state of affairs when identifying with such a story.

The natures aren't mutually exclusive, anymore than we are actually talking about the nature of frogs and scorpions talking to one another and crossing an actually river.

The frog acts as a host and the scorpion the parasite. I am aware and comfortable of my nature to be both and I feel we all need to identify such qualities within ourselves, both the bad and the good.

We often have people whom are these dualistic opposites. If they present themselves to you as a self righteous Christian say, they're an alcoholic &/or banging their wife's neighbour behind the scenes - again, this is just an analogy and shouldn't be mixed up with any absolutes.

While those whom we may perceive as wastes of space, the village idiot, are usually the people with the most wisdom. Just go and speak to a homeless person the next time you see one and then, get back to me 👌

So we have this state of dualistic opposites.

What you present yourself as your mask, is usually the qualities you wish to represent yourself as, but you actually lack in yourself or you mimick to the best of your ability.

While a whole person can genuinely act both parts, like flickering a light switch between spotlight and floodlight, if they're truly aware of their full nature and embrace both.

Occultist I feel understand this and it's a great danger that the rest of society understand this also, so it's considered evil and evil is alway projected into external elements like Adolf Hitlers to Islamic State.

This maybe true but they're not inherently within them or mutually exclusive from that evil which is within ourselves.

This is of course, the nature of suffering many people fail to see here. That so many people are trying to be something they're not because of qualities they believe themselves to be lacking which they believe or have been made to believe, they ought to dervive.

Why do then, I personally over identify with the frog?

One point is I was explaining the frogs nature as you seem to have overlooked this nature in my view.

The frog has witnessed the nature of the scorpion and understanding this, it seeks to help it anyway. This could be like helping a drug addict or alcoholic get clean. You know they're likely going to use again and very likely steal from you, cause you unnecessary suffering for helping them. Are they an idiot for doing so and failing anyway, the expected happens?

You could even call this act by the frog, an act of faith. The opposite end of faith I grant you, is stupidity in some respects.

As can bravey simply be foolish.

It's how faith can be and is easily exploited. Which can leave a person feeling disenchanted with the whole aspect of faith altogether.

We can't exactly go around expecting to change the nature of the scorpion as how the scorpion acts is the scorpions nature.

We can however, see that someone whom continually keeps making mistakes, will become wise to their own nature.

Just as in one would hope by helping an alcoholic or a drug user etc

Or in otherwords, like the frog has understood the nature of the scorpion, we hope by this action and this story, the scorpion will inevitably understand the nature of the frog.

When this happens, their will be a mutual respect between them.

Until then, they will continually mutually destory one another. Just as we have and our history is littered with war after war.

You could symbolise this as an internal war between the two wolves as the Indian Natives say the one who wins is the one you feed the most. Or you could also symbolise this as a human parasite relationship. That some external manipulation is occurring by a hidden hand force we call the Globalists, Shadow Government, Reptilians etc

Many people die in wars, all wars are foolish, but not all those whom die fighting them are foolish. This sounds paradoxical and maybe it is, because of the paradoxical nature of man at war with himself...

While you studied consciousness with a teacher, I studied consciousness with myself 😇

Everyone dies on the path of consciousness, it's what your attention is turned to and entrained upon which is important when you do.

Works is only as good as your intention behind it. What is your intentions?

Many people have diminished the value of intentionality which is why we can feel a diminished sense of purpose and meaning, we don't know why we do what we do anymore 🤔

Buddha didn't become enlightened simply by the act of working hard but by seeing the folly in these natures of extremes. By living like a king to starving oneself and seeing through these extremes as follys for the mind and the nature of man needlessly perpetuating the cycle of his own suffering, that he could stop at anytime he wants. Just as Buddha did when he stopped starving himself and decided to go and eat when someone offered him food. He realised, compassion in someone else and found it within himself. This was awakening.

Just as one could see in the frog and would maybe hope by the same method and folly of adhering to extremes, the scorpion will realise this compassion within themselves, the next Time they're offered it, rather than consistently exploiting it as a form of evolution.

That maybe faith or wishful thinking, but it's the moral of the story while not being too pissed at the nature of an animal for being the nature of that particular animal...

You could, in some respects, see Buddha as the Scorpion, on the backs of many people suffering as the frogs when he was king. Eventually, however, he did become wise and discovered his true nature and in doing so, learned mutually respect and understanding for himself, the bums and the nature of reality. As he was ok with himself being any one of them - and realised he was everyone of them- before judging and accepting such a nature within himself and didn't project them because of deep insecurities he had about potentially being perceived in such away himself. That deeply lacks understanding and compassion.

I hope we have all learned something here 😇🙏

You define the Frog as being a virtuous creature and a Scorpion as a parasite.

But in fact the Scorpion as he said was true to his own nature.

You turn it upside down because it makes you feel better about being a drowning frog.

And you have lots of long excuses.

All that rubbish about Dualism is just Spiritual Marxism, that's what leads to children being taught to be transgender.

Because we are all the same, there is no you and mean.

It's sick and insincere.

You say Buddha got enlightened because he was compassionate.

I don't know what the fuck you are talking about, eating is not compassaionate anyway.

His path was to see how depraved human life was and bail out.

Then he studied for several years reaching the 8th Jhana.

Then he sat in deep meditation for 40 days before realisation.

The story about him eating is idiotic, it is for people who refuse to work.

They say the same in Christianity, that Jesus is so kind and will say you.

He never said that.

He said wide is the gate to destruction and most find it.  Destruction does not mean having a headache.

It means you will be destroyed.

But people don't like what Jesus and Buddha actually said.

Since their arse is so attached to talking BS and identifying with dying frogs, that how can they even be helped.

Young people these days have such phoney and spoilt ideas about life.

They are full of entitlement but know nothing about the basic facts of life.

It creates an ugly situation.

It's not my place to convince you of anything, only tell a story make of it what you will or tell your own story to explain your own perceptions of reality.

Yes. Isn't a parasite acting out the nature of a parasite, still a parasite?

If for example, a symbiotic parasite consumes you for it's survival, if it is successfully, it also dies just like the scorpion and the frog.

It's the insincerity of the scorpion and the trusting nature of the frog - you may call that faith ignore ance if you like, choosing deliberately to ignore his instincts - that causes them both to die. The action of the frog maybe foolish but he understood the scorpions nature before doing so, whereas, the scorpion devalued the frogs and doomed them both...

You miss the point completely or obviously wish to do so. This has no bearing on transgender. Duality exists inherently within all things. Man needs woman and woman needs man. This doesn't mean a man is a woman and a woman is man in the physical sense, it means they're both necessary for survival of the physical human condition.

In spiritual terms, man and woman aren't mutually exclusive but interdependent - this should be apparent in the physical sense also but its obviously being confused because of the transgender agenda - they're of the same origin spiritually and only in the flesh do with have this bondage of skin and bone...

That doesn't mean you can change the nature of a frog to a scorpion, anymore than you can change a man to a woman.

They still are their own nature, mimicking something else as their mask.

You need to understand the nature of such a mask in yourself as well as within others such as those transgenders.

Maybe they can teach us all something ay?😁

Eating isn't the act of compassion, it's that someone offered a starving man, their food.

They didn't have to do that. They did so out of compassion seeing a starving man and understanding they needed food and if they gave them their food, they would no longer be starving. That's compassion, that is the root of understanding...

Not the food, the action, the hard works you speak of, yet fail to see such intentionality.

That work is wasted by you and ironically, you may as well be a bum...

The moral of the story, trust your God damn instincts and drop the act, drop the drives!

Work as play or don't do it at all 😆

They're not, or shouldn't be, mutually exclusive.

Strange thing to say.

Did you read the fable?
At the end of it the frog asks the scorpion why he did it.

.. therefore you are wrong, the frog did not know.

As for Buddha you said that he realised awakening when he felt compassion and you refer to the story of him not starving himself.

But this is not how the Buddha achieve awakening.

That story about the food was a small instruction to his students that they are better off not being too ascetic because it harms meditation.

That's all, just a tidbit, it's not the basis of his teaching, neither is compassion.

That is for idiots.

But what do you care, you just like to talk about it ... like you said you teach yourself that's why you make mistakes with your own fable.

Buddha's realisation happened the normal way, he was trained for years by teachers and then he did the long term work of meditation.

And finally he got there.

He realises his own nature, he becomes his own nature.

Like the scorpion.

Except that in real life scorpions don't talk to frogs and don't waste time.

And frogs don't offer rides to scorpions.

It's only human beings that can try to make meaning out of such a stupid story that doesn't happen in reality.

So what is the messages really behind this fable?
It has to be about humans ... they try to get something from this story.

Probably the author is trying to say that a leopard does not change his spots, that's the intended meaning.

But for victims they identify with the frog and blame others for their own foolishness.

Another interesting thing about this story relates to the phoney ego.

The frog did not listen to his instincts and because like the UN and dreaming of world peace.

The scorpion wanted to cross the river but inside he was a killer.

Half way along the scorpion's inner killer overpowers his need to cross the river and kills the frog and them both.

Interestingly the frog as it sinks to the bottom is till phoney, is still in the UN mode dreaming of world peace totally devoid of any reality.

But the scorpion is real, he has returned to his reality so does not die as an ego.

If the UN goes to prison and offers to a murderer a walk in the park as long as the murderer says he won't kill anyone.  The murderer says okay I won't.  Then they go for a walk and the murderer kills him and some passers by.

Who's fault is this ?

It is the UN's fault, who is lost in a phoney dream.

A phoney dream that is full of ego, full of "I am the saviour" delusions.

Probably friends of the UN will say that they were just being nice and it's all the murderers fault ... but the only nice thing is reality, and if you cause people to die by being nice you just as phoney and distant from reality as any scorpion and just as culpable.

In the end the scorpion in the only one in the picture who is even close to his own truth.

Marxism, the United Nations and the Scorpion Complex
... or why Frogs are stupid in the beginning middle and end

Strangely this short fable just keeps on giving as new insights come about to me.

At the very end once the Scorpion has stung the Frog, the Frog peers over his shoulder and asks ...'why did you do that?'.

Incredible.  What kind of a question is that ?  Why did you do it ... could it not be more obvious ?

Does the Frog still not know ?  Can't you ... work it out for yourself ?

Marxism is a God Complex, they wish to save humanity by being fweinds.

We are all happy fweinds and live happily ever with the Marxist God ... for your own good.

And how can Marxists be your God if you've already got one .. first burn down the church.

Marxists are not normal, they don't like to be just like anyone.

They are the Saviour, even if it means carrying Scorpions on their backs like a slave.

These fools don't know anything.  Neither at the beginning, the middle or the end.

You know who knows something ... The Scorpion.

That's why the Frog keeps asking him for directions.

Dear Mr Scorpion do you think my buttcheeks will be safe if I carry you on my back?
Dear Mr Scorpion I don't understand why we are both going to die right now, can you tell me?
The Scorpion might be a dark creature, but at least he knows something.

When society is in a bad state the Leftwing falls from being actually caring to being the frog.

And in a bad state the rightwing falls to being the Scorpion.

It represents the Mind and the Instinctive Animal ... whether they live together or kill each other.
